Very good muy bueno, the Ambience, Food and Service. I like it a lot the type of coffee they saved at this place

Solid coffee here. Latte is really smooth. Don't forget to also try their cold Vietnamese coffee which I don't see often at other coffee shops.

This was more of a to go coffee spot. There are a couple small tables inside, but the park isn't too far off to go enjoy your coffee. I appreciate a shop that also sells coffee beans. The person at the register was really friendly. Unfortunately, I was in a rush, and I didn't realize my order was wrong. From what I did have it was okay, but it's a tough spot to be in because there are nearby shops they are competing with. Overall my experience was okay. Thank you!

Stopped into The Beanery for a coffee. They have a second location, surprisingly, a few blocks away. We dropped in on a Saturday morning (9:30am). There was a small queue but the line moved quickly. They grind and sell their own coffee beans. - Latte ($4.95 USD double) with oat milk ($0.80 USD) - smooth but nothing to distinguish their beans from other coffee joints.

Cute coffee shop with friendly service. Limited inside seating but also a few tables outside.

The bf and I were in the area and wanted coffee from both Snowbird and this place. Since we were coming from UCSF, we went to Snowbird and Arizmendi before ending our walk here. We ordered an oat milk latte. We took notice that not only does this place charges extra for dairy alternative but they also charge extra for half n half too?? I was holding a cup from Snowbird and a bag of bread from Arizmendi. The cashier immediately and in a really rude tone told me I couldn't be inside with outside food. I get that places don't want people grabbing stuff from other shops and then taking up tables at their place, but we also bought drinks from Beanery too, so I don't see what the problem was. We are paying customers. We should have just canceled our order right then and there and left. That lady was excessively mean!! Sheesh!!! Does this place expect people to not patronize other shops along this street? We were making our rounds up and down the street so we had a bunch of stuff accumulated with us. We shook off the super rude vibes and I went to wait outside with my outside food. My bf grabbed our Beanery drinks and we grabbed a table outside. There were plenty of tables. After all, this was late Thursday afternoon, totally after the lunch rush. Sometime later, that same lady was off shift and she yelled at us as she passed by us saying, "I thought I told you weren't allowed here with outside food!!" And proceeded to the crosswalk. Honestly? Was that necessary? If The Beanery had a 0 tolerance for any outside food regardless of how much we purchased from their business, then say so politely. There was no reason to talk to us like we kicked her child or something. This lady was extremely rude and livid towards us for no good reason. I hope whoever is in charge of The Beanery has a word with her about her attitude. The coffee here was only ok, oat milk totally scalded and not worth the extra 60 cents. The Beanery also didn't have any noteworthy pastries or menu items we were interested in purchasing. We definitely won't be back. I hope that lady wakes up on the better side of her bed in days to come. She's definitely not going entice people to come back.

Very simple neighborhood coffee shop! I got an iced latte and it was delicious! Not too sweet, but the coffee flavor was there. My friends got the Vietnamese iced coffee and said it was good but pretty sweet. The cup is a decent size and definitely lasted me throughout the day. It's a pretty small place so there's very limited seating, but if there was more space I would definitely consider coming here to study or get some work done. Overall, If I was in the area, I'd come back no doubt, but probably wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I tried the beanery a couple months ago and it's been one of my go-to spots to study and get coffee in the sunset! I get their iced caramel lattes, which is a hit or miss depending on the day, sometimes it's good but sometimes I feel like I'm just drinking a sugary cup of milk. Their pastry's on the other hand are always consistent and fresh. I highly recommend their raisin buns, morning buns, and croissants. The only downside is that they don't warm them up. The inside is small but it's more of a to go place so there's almost always seating available (inside and outside). The staff here are very blunt and straight to the point, so you're most likely not gonna get your typical friendly cafe service lol. But the clientele (mostly locals who live in the neighborhood) are all so nice, and it's almost impossible not to strike up a conversation and meet someone new while while you're there!

Customer Service 5/5 Coffee 5/5 Study/work environment 2/5 The first thing you notice when you walk by this place is the smell! I'm not a huge coffee person, but the smell of roasted coffee beans flows outside and draws you into the building. It's a cute little coffee shop on the quiet part of Irving, however, there is not much seating (maybe like 5 tables that fit 1-2 people each at most) so beware of this if you are trying to do work. I would say this place is more of a grab-n-go type of coffee shop. The customer service was excellent! The baristas were extremely nice, giving me recommendations and making sure that my drink was exactly how I wanted it. Again, I'm not a huge coffee person so I can't comment much on the coffee taste, but I will say it didn't just taste like bitter water! I liked it a lot and it was definitely on the cheaper side. A double shot latte cost me about $4. Overall, if you're passing by, I recommend coming in and giving it a try. Good coffee, good people, good prices. Just don't do any work here; there probably won't be enough space for it.

I've been looking for a place in town that delivers the same type of meals I'd find in Katz's (nyc), and Wise Sons is good!!! The bread was on point, not soggy at all even though this particular sandwich comes with coleslaw inside (I loved the sweetness of the slaw with the Russian dressing). The corned beef was spectacular. And I also liked their potato salad very much. You can bet I'll be ordering again from this place.

Weirdly, I often have egg-salad sandwiches on my mind, even though I know they can be gross. I've had plenty of egg-salad disasters, sandwich and otherwise, and I'm normally a very gun-shy person, but if a place has egg salad on its menu, I'll probably order it. Wise Sons always has egg salad on its menu. The problem is that it didn't have any egg salad on hand the first two times I came here.* Whatever I had instead, both times (and I had something different each time) was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried the latkes yet. I guess I'm not a very wise son. The place is old school and feels perfect inside. It won't transport you magically to the past like many killer authentic interiors will, but it's very easy to imagine what the inside of this store looked like in 1941 or whenever. There was never more than one other person dining in each time I came. Maybe it's because I came so late in the day? More people would make it feel like a convivial breakfast destination. Empty, it feels like a good place with good food. Yes, it's overpriced, especially with all the delicious food you can get for cheaper within a few doors of this business on 24th Street in the Mission. But Wise Sons. It's a thing, a thing I'm glad I got wise to. *Did they sell out? Just didn't bother to make it? Who orders egg salad in the 2020s, anyway?

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding.
