I intended for them to order the parts needed to reattach this cover (my hurriedly zip ties were a short term fix) and set up appointment to repair. They took the vehicle, hoisted it up and replaced 5 bolts that had sheared off. Bing bang boom the repair was done and they did not charge me anything at all. This small, family-run business is located in the Wilburton neighborhood of Bellevue in a small business complex. They're only open during the weekdays from 8am-5pm, and appointments fill up quickly. I usually call and make an appointment and am able to be scheduled on a day and time that works best for me, which is always nice. The oil change usually takes an hour, and I recommend bring a check or cash for payment as there is a 3% credit card charge. You don't have to stay for the oil change, but they have seats if you plan to hang out. PLUS, there's Rosie! Rosie is the owner's dog and hangs out at the shop. She is super sweet. The owner always lets me bring my dog into the shop, too, allowing my dog to sit up on the chair. Best staff ever! If you're in need of an oil change on an Asian import that's quality care, affordable, and goes beyond the routine check-up, then Eschen Automotive is the best option in Bellevue.

They knew I wasn't in a hurry and they took advantage of my patience because hey, we're all struggling with covid-19. I took my 2002 VW Eurovan in to fix it up before I put it on the market. They gave me an estimate on their recommendations hat would cover a variety of basic maintenance issues in addition to my own list of known problems. One of those recommendations was replacing the front brakes. The only problem with the brakes is I had them done in December of 2019. Oh I have so many questions about this! I gave the potential buyer of my van permission to call Glen and talk to her about the work they recently completed. He managed to torpedo the sale by telling her a long list of MUST do repairs before she took it on a road trip. These repairs added up to over $12K. Some of this work I would have done myself if he had recommended them to me earlier. I mean that IS why I brought the car in, to take care of these issues before I sold it. So who is Glen jerking around? In addition to scarring her off with the long list of repairs still to be made, he tried to sell her a lot of van conversion upgrades. Pretty sure Glen is only interested in maximizing his bottom line no matter what the cost to his customer. Also one last note, don't bother calling him unless you have 30-40 minutes to waste. The man never stops talking.

Don't go here if you value quality!!! I had to get my water pump replaced 2 years after they…read moreinstalled it because they put a low quality aftermarket part in my car. The full story: I had them replace my water pump in December 2022. A quick google search says that a water pump should last 60,000-100,000 miles minimum, but 23,000 miles later it failed and I had to get another water pump replacement in November 2024. I talked to Jeremy at Advance Auto Tune and he said they install OEM parts (specifically Aisin for my car) but when my current mechanic took the part out of the car, they said the part that was installed was an aftermarket part. Advance Auto Tune refused to give me any money back, so I'm out $1000 because they installed a sub-par part. Feel free to reach out to me for details.
