    Sunset pancakes $7.50

Sunset Grill is a cozy breakfast place to eat out with your family and friends. They have a lot of variety on the menu - burgers to pancakes and eggs - in a reasonable price range. Not the fanciest brunch I've had but I would definitely go again. My only note is don't order any specialty tea, its $3.25 for a very small cup which personally was not good value. Well, at least I know for next time!

First 1/2 of breakfast! Poached eggs, sausage, potatoes.

This doesn't taste like breakfast made in someone's kitchen. It tastes like restaurant food. I know, I know that seems like a picky distinction but some of the best breakfast joints taste like family dinners. Still...this place has lots to recommend it. The food is tasty. The service was ALL I could ever dream of. Beverage refills fast and aplenty. Smiles. (5 stars for our server!) Affordable prices. Breakfast ALL day!! The portion fed me for 3 meals. My menu offering was delicious. The french toast not overly eggy but substantial and golden. The poached eggs perfectly soft. One of the diner's found there was an odd mustard taste to his hollandaise on the crab benny. The other diner who had eggs florentine, found no mustard taste but the flavour of the sauce was a little flat. I would return to this homey establishment with natural light, great service and solid breakfast offerings.

By far, one of the best brunch place in the NW Calgary area! It's comfortable, clean and spacious overall. The eggs Florentine was delicious. The food overall, is quite cheap with the large portions. The hot chocolate is quite tasty, although taste like cheap powdered version. The potatoes are delicious with the right amount of seasoning. The spinach and hollandaise sauce on my eggs are generous in portions! Overall, a great brunch place to meet friends and have a relaxing chat on a week day. Will be back again for more! Been back a few times since then, always have food then I can finish. Everything I tried so far are all great!! Really decent price!!

3 eggs, hash browns and toast and corned beef hash.

Good food, prompt service. We ordered the 3 eggs, toast and hash browns and the corned beef hash. Everything tasted good. We went first thing in the morning but the place did fill up fast. Lots of parking available. The portions are generous. For hot sauces: they only had Tabasco or franks red hot, both are not really any good. Besides that I would recommend this place

Food was prepared exactly as ordered. Large portions, friendly service. A bit of a line up to get seated but the line moved quickly

Definitely don't go in expecting anything fancy, but it is great for what it is: a classic breakfast.

If you show up after 9am, be prepared to wait a bit or make reservations in advance on Toast to be safe. I tried their newer item, birria de res eggs benedict, which is served on cheese bannock, an indigenous Canadian bread, and opted to sub potatoes/salad for garlic fried rice for 3 CAD surcharge, which is well worth it. The beef was tender and the eggs are perfectly runny and the cheese bannock added heartiness and a more unique texture compared to English muffin. It is a combo of Mexican, indigenous Canadian, and Filipino influences all in 1 dish! To pair with the food, I had a pineapple mimosa which was of good portion. Originally, the dish had hair so I caught it and flagged the issue, so they immediately remade the whole dish for me, apologized, and comped my mimosa so despite losing 10 min of my time, I am okay with this remedy, so I rate this experience for the food and service outside of this incident. This is one of the more innovative and delicious brunch spots I have tried, so it is no surprise this place is fairly hyped up

This place serves very unique brunch menu items. I got the "My Breakfast in Tokyo" and thought it…read morewas alright. It came with thick cut smoked salmon on top of sushi seasoned rice with poached eggs, seaweed, and spinach on the side. The seaweed pieces tasted old and were hard to chew. The seasoned rice had too much vinegar in it. The poached egg and salmon tasted fine. It also came with miso soup but it tasted strange, not sure why there was oil in it... miso soup usually does not contain oil. My fiance got the Breakfast in Manila and thought it was alright as well. The rice was too salty and the sausage tasted like low quality meat. It seemed like they were short on waitresses and it took a while for them to take our order and for us to get the check. This place is also a plant store and it felt cozy. Overall had a decent experience.

By the time it arrived, everything was stone cold. The cheese was literally hard from melting and then going cold, the potatoes were undercooked and raw, and the entire meal was completely inedible. Spending $35 on food that went straight in the garbage is beyond frustrating, it's infuriating. And the $5 "seasonal fruit bowl" looked like someone's picked-over leftovers. A couple random pieces tossed in a container and sent out like that's acceptable? It's honestly disgusting and shows a complete lack of quality control. At this point, I would've been better off ordering McDonald's for a third of the price, because at least it would've shown up hot and edible. This is careless, overpriced, and completely unacceptable. 1STAR. Complete fail.

The menu had good breakfast options. I opted for the Seoul-wich with an Arnold Palmer to drink. My bro had the Bro's breakfast with a Bro'kin coffee blend to drink. Both dishes looked great. The Seol-wich was really tasty and a good size. My bro said he enjoyed his meal. Our server Rachel was friendly and attentive. All staff were great. I definitely will come back and try other menu items.
