I was meeting a colleague here and was unfamiliar with the menu-but I did know that it was bloody hot outside and I didn't want hot coffee. So I asked the nice lady to make something frozen and not too sweet. I wish I'd paid better attention to what she gave me-it was perfect! This might be one of my new favorite east side hangouts. They are open late, have plenty of parking and have a very cool vibe. Someone had their dog with them, so I naturally sat at the table nearby so I could pet the dog. Duh. Yup, catch me here reading the City Weekly, sipping on whatever concoction they whip up for me that day.

Had to stop by to get a nice cold brew from this place. Great customer service and great place to chill.

I stopped by for something warm and caffeinated before the Elite event at Witchy Yoga Girl, as it was right across the parking lot. The space was full of people from students to those getting off work. It reminded me of a basement or garage hangout, which I kinda dig! I didn't spend much time there as I was just there to get some coffee and go. The staff was cool. I ordered a Voldemort, because i just had to! It was delicious! I'll be in again the next time I'm in the area.

I came to Sunset last week with my fam while looking for a spot to meet a friend. Shelby welcomed us with her sweet self and was amazing! She made recommendations and multitasked like a pro. Our drinks were.... To say the least... perfectly lovely. The chai is a house blend that will just rock your world. The specialty coffees are delish and just what I was looking for. I have been back every day since and am equally delighted every time. Today I got a blended vanilla matcha.... Oooooh laawwwd! Phenomenal. Not too sweet, just perfect. Julianna was lovely and welcoming. Each time I come, business is hopping, people are enjoying, it's exactly what you want in a coffee shop. And they are open until Midnight 365 days!!! I will keep coming back and trying everything!

My inner teenager is revived! I used to hangout here all the time in high school and finally revisited today, getting a chance to see all their amazing upgrades. I don't order frozen coffee anywhere but here since they always get the consistency just right! The patio is the perfect hangout spot overlooking the valley. Sunset will always be a nostalgic place for me with quick service and quality espresso

Best coffee and not overpriced. Iced vanilla latte is so far my favorite with the chocolate dipped espresso beans!

It's the only place around that is open late for coffee. It's very relaxed with lots of teenagers. We like coming here at evenings .

I ordered the snickers in hopes it would be sweet but not overpowering. Maybe that was my mistake. I saw it and I was already nervous. The entire drink was dark brown. It looked like chocolate milk. Which idk, maybe that's what it's supposed to look like, but oh my goodness I couldn't even taste the extra shot of espresso I ordered. Literally straight hersheys syrup. So I poured half of it out, added some almond milk and it's still pretty concentrated. Idk I'm not the kind of person to veto a place for making one bad drink, but I like my coffee to taste like coffee lol. Hopefully next time I go it does! In other news, the raspberry muffin was yummy!

Immediately I liked the vibe-it's an edgy, totally local and co-created space with folks from the area. There is a bulletin board in the vestibule with fliers and posters about current events and services-totally haphazard and chaotic. Inside, there's art all over the place, unique decor and a calendar of events that look to be different support groups that meet here. How cool. This isn't a polished, bougie or uptight place. This is for real folks with real personalities and a bit of grit. And I like it. The coffee's pretty good too. ;-)

Loads of natural lighting (in the morning) My wife got a rose latte, I went for caramel. Standard coffee art (heart-topped wheat shock for her, delicate middle-centered fern on mine). The caramel was light in mine, a pleasant contrast to caramel lattes that emphasize over-saccharine sweetness over the richness of caramel - it could have been that they just used an appropriate amount or it could have been the underlying psychological effect of sitting on the couch while my kids played games and drank their hot chocolates with whipped cream. Either way, I appreciated it. The servers were professional and courteous, and the rose latte came out fast. That said, the room was packed while we were here - a testament to the vibe and the smiles they brew here. Glad we chose this place for our cozy morning respite this morning!

It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. I didn't try the coffee but if they ever show up in Boise metro area, I would check them out to see if they match up with SLC.
