I looked for an LP cabinet for over a year and finally found one on Chairish which was designed and built by Sunset Bazaar. While the one that they had was 4 feet wide with 4 legs, I ask them to make one that was 5 feet wide with 2 extra legs for my 700 LP collection. I then ordered it directly from him. The one that they made was stunning and fit perfectly in my listening room together with my modern and mid-century furniture and stereo system. Jonathan and Cesar were also great to work with and while the delivery was delayed because a truck broke down, in the end it was worth the wait! Highly recommended!!

I was on the hunt for a small nightstand and I was hoping to buy secondhand. I found the perfect mid-century modern vintage nightstand at a super reasonable price here. It was part of a set of two and they let me take just one of them. It is beautifully refurbished and would be at least $100 more expensive at other places. Also, the two men working there were so friendly and accomodating. Really enjoyed our interactions!

I had 2 pieces custom made by by Sunset Bazaar. Jonathon and Cesar were so patient and helpful. They respond immediately and are incredibly nice. I dithered around with the designs and they offered several solutions until we found something that was perfect. They even suggested reversible drawers and doors. The workmanship is excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I couldn't be happier!

Purchased an incredible Pearsall sofa and table from them and they were incredible in their communication from start to finish. They helped me pick through fabrics via text and shows me photos during the restoration process and are incredible people to work with and have incredible stuff - highly recommend!

I worked with Jonathan and his brother to get some nightstands made. They did such a great job and the nightstands fit perfectly in our room. They were very responsive and even helped me coordinate delivery to the Bay Area. Thank you Sunset Bazaar!

Just a dream come true! I had saved up some money for some upgrades to furniture we had had since before college, and was really excited to come across the folks here at Sunder Bazaar. We came by the shop on a Monday and asked about a custom record credenza that was a combination of two existing designs they create - Jonathan, one of the owners, was super open minded and so relaxed to work with. He showed us examples of each component we wanted and we sketched out the idea together. By Saturday the piece was finished, beautiful, and delivered to our new place! I'm so grateful for local family businesses in LA and can't wait to work with them again. We're really excited to have these pieces with us for years to come. Thank you Jonathan and family!

So found this place by accident and wow how lucky I got. FANTASTIC SERVICE and HOSPITALITY by Jonathan and Cesar. It's a family business two brothers and their sister. They all work very nicely as a team. They also have FANTASTIC mid century modern furnishings. If you want something more unique they have a team of carpenters/wood workers that will build something custom for you. EXCELLENT craftsmanship. I had them build me a mid century modern bathroom vanity and matching mirror. Both pieces came out BEAUTIFUL and both quality pieces at a fair price. Communication with Cesar and Jonathan is seamless. You can email them anytime about inquiries or status on any work they are doing and they respond quickly. Both great guys!! I highly recommend Sunset Bazaar for your antique and mid century modern needs!!

Every part of my experience with Sunset Bazaar exceeded expectations. I was looking for something to display my records that was high quality and still reasonably priced. I reached out to them and explained what I was looking for and Jonathon quickly responded within 10 minutes and walked me through all of my options. I ended up going with the 3-Tier Angelino. I ordered it on a Friday and it was delivered to my home (for free) that Monday! It's absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with it. The quality is incredible - you can tell they really put their hearts into their work. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Good selection, mid-ranged prices (they'll haggle), and good customer service. I'll be going back for more.

When you entered, it was always neat, organized, CLEAN, and inviting. This LA OGT is a big mess. I wanted to shower after we left. It's a hodgepodge of garbage mixed in with some good vintage stuff but it's really hard to look past the overall grime of the place. There were 3 ppl working and I'm pretty sure I could have lit myself on fire and none of them would have gotten up from their chairs and paused their conversation with each other. We walked by them multiple times without so much as a hello. In NY, there are actual sales people - you know, like a business that wants to be successful. Major disappointment.

Great customer service and so many attentions to detail displayed throughout their entire store. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.
