I have been using Sunrise Pool for over a year now and I would give them more than 5 stars, if I could. I purchased a home and wanted to convert my pool from salt back to chlorine. They were very helpful and explained the benefits and drawbacks of each method. Sunrise Pool provided me with documented details about the conversion costs, short term and long term costs that were associated with each. In the end, I chose to convert back to a chlorine pool. Today is 04/29/24 and I am driving down Peachtree Industrial Blvd approximately between 2 pm & 2:30 pm when I noticed in my rear view mirror a Truck riding pretty close to me , this truck had Sunrise Pool Services logo with the number (41) on the back. Driving close to bumpers and honking at other drivers will not change the fact that there was moderate traffic and there was no where to move. Driver/Truck (41) continued to speed and seemed to be in a hurry Perhaps the company should do better at training their drivers and remind them that they are representing a company. I don't even own a pool but they were easy to find because there is a number plastered all over the truck. read more

As far as day to day maintenance is concerned, Sunrise is consistent at showing up on time and sometimes meeting the expectation. They don't clean the tiles once a week as their contract states they do. But they do keep the pool water clean. If I didn't have repair issues, I would have given them 3 stars, but because of the following, story they get 2 stars: We used them for 2 seasons. First season went well. Pool was clean and they met the expectation. We had to make a few costly repairs, they are lazy about cleaning tiles, but they got it done when reminded. At the second season however, they had to go over and make the same repairs they had already made. There were several instances where they charged us for things like sand and the labor to change out the sand, due to a part they didn't fix correctly the first time. So they would warranty the part, but charge us for the sand and labor which was about $700 each time. In addition, there were multiple occasions where their estimates or assessments were not accurate. I had also caught them charging us for repairs they never made. There were several instances where a repair tech would walk into out pump room for a reported issue, but not thoroughly investigate a problem and leave. We would have flooding or something quite inconvenient happen as a result; pool would be down for several weeks during the summer. Sunrise is a bit dishonest, lazy and rude. The part that's really frustrating is I had asked on several occasions to speak with the lead maintenance tech, and he completely avoided me. The owner also avoided me, and I was stuck dealing with the incompetence of their office staff. Beware of the fast-talking girl, name starts with a "P". She's defensive and doesnt care much about her clients. I believe this company has grown to such a size where they simply don't have to care about the customer anymore. They can remain profitable by doing just enough, and that's what you can expect from Sunrise. I wouldn't recommend them if you have other options available. read more

Dreadful experience with this company. Customer was never their priority with too many cost blow-outs. No transparency. Staff seemed as in the dark re issues as we the customer were. All was constantly brought to managements attention via email etc, something they ultimately denied. Not a pleasant experience at all, more close to a living nightmare. read more

Sunrise replaced filter pump motor 1.5 year ago and it broke again. The motor is A.O. Smith Magnetek Square Flange 2 HP Pool Motor B748. I do not understand why a motor only lasts that short, just passes the warranty. It costs me another $563. read more
