(I lost count whatever JOKE this guy is in this story...), He comes in, does his perfunctory little routine, ending w/ "you're going to require a Full Reconstruction of the Right Knee....and we'll get you started on PT, and you'll f/u w/ me in a month or two!" My wife and I leave, thinking this guy's got it goin' on, and maybe we can stick w/ these guys? Nope. After scheduling two months worth of PT, the very next day one of their staff calls telling me that they no longer accept my insurance! Typical. America the "GRATE" sucks too. So I have to go back to my PCP. (A child that they gave a certificate to, but has to get an "okay" from anybody else before doing ANYTHING at all!). I have to wait for them to refer me to somebody else. It's all a waiting game. By the time I get another referral to another QUACK, and this idiot is worse than the first one... I could have driven to Tj and back and gotten healed already!!!!! Then V.O. Calls me back, telling me that the clinic doesn't accept my insurance, but Dr. G does, and he would like to continue w/ my treatment. Great. We make an appointment. We keep the appointment . Only to be told, by the Dr. himself, that they are no longer going to see/treat me, due to the insurance mess! Those of you who are dumb enough to even call this place, don't say you weren't warned. Ventura Orthopedics places PROFIT over people daily.

Took my husband to this Dr for a hip replacement. I wasn't certain but his write up did state hip…read morereplacements. So we went fwd with this Dr. After a few days home the leg popped out of hip socket, it repeated that 3 times. The excruciating pain was very hard to see. Ambulance was called all 3 times. They would pop back in at the ER and send home. So went to see Dr. Gregory H. Tchejeyan, MD, in thousand oaks, he put in a new hip and stated that they put notches on the hip parts so you know exactly how to put in these parts for the hip. But they were misaligned so that is why they kept popping out. He said no more problem; he got that leg and did a 360° turn around. Fast forward my cousin years later but current within 3 years had his hip replaced by Dr Jeffers. This time he broke the femur putting in the hip portion. In stead of getting to go home after this, he went to rehabilitation for a month or longer. I don't think Dr Jeffers is good to do hip replacement surgery.

I had my right knee done three years ago by Dr. Ballard, and the recovery was so easy and the results so impressive, that I was actually looking forward to this procedure. This surgery was the easiest I have ever had. Surgery was at 2:30 and at 4:30 I woke up, got dressed, and went home. The next two days I used crutches just to be sure, but my knee already felt better than it did before the surgery. Virtually no pain after the procedure.
