I've been coming here for over 2 years now and I've had cleanings and fillings done as well as getting my wisdom teeth extracted. I chose Sunrise as it came highly recommended to me by my grandma; she raved about how kind the staff are and how gentle they are with dental work. I've had appointments with three different doctors here and I really can't say enough good things about all of them. I consider myself to have a pretty high tolerance for dental work, but even so I think it's worth noting that everything I've had done here has been painless (including the extractions). All of the dental assistants are friendly and everyone takes the time to make conversation and ask about your life and how you're doing. My mom and brothers now come here too based on my recommendation and I will continue to recommend it to others! read more

I went in for a normal cleaning after about a year and a half of not going to a dentist. I found them on my insurances website and they had high reviews. On my first visit, I had a young man (forgot his name) check my teeth. He went on to tell me I had 11 cavities and needed to get them filled. I've only had 3 my entire life so I was obviously wary. It was going to cost me a lot of money. I went to Black Diamond Dentistry to get a second opinion and their dentist said I have 0 cavities. Clearly someone isn't right and I'm going to guess it's the new dentist over the one who has been doing it for 30+ years. Overall, don't go here. I'm sure people are truthful in their good reviews but I had a bad experience. read more

I'm so thankful that I was referred to Sunrise Dental in Kent by a friend. Their office is helpful, friendly and efficient. I recently chose to have an implant procedure on a tooth after discussing my options with Dr. Jasmine Kahlon. She was extremely patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and kind. She spent time going over the procedure, walking through every step as she was performing it, making sure I was ok and comfortable. After the procedure she made sure I knew the protocol to follow while letting me know to contact her and the office staff if I needed anything...that they were there for any questions or concerns I might have. Her manner and time spent with me made me feel as though I was a very valued patient. That evening she texted me to make sure I was doing well along with another check in from her the following day. I've had a lot of anxiety with dentist appointments through the years but I would say, without reservation, that Dr. Jasmine Kahlon is the best dentist I have ever had. I used to go to a dentist in Burien. Very high prices, unable to work with you as far as finances go and they refuse to send anything to insurance in attempt to get coverage. I came here a few weeks ago to get a second opinion on veneers that I supposedly needed on my front 4 teeth. They were dark in color, crooked, and had been deteriorating over the last 6 months due to a new medication. This was for cosmetic reasons as well as medically necessary. Dr. Sharma told me straight up everything that should be done. Told me crowns would be a better fit for me since I had cavities and veneers would not fix the problem. He submitted for my 4 front teeth to be crowned to my insurance and within two weeks called and told me it would be half covered; which I was ecstatic about. They got me in the same week to prep for my crowns. The entire process has been nothing short of amazing, comprehensive and knowledgeable. Your hygienists and assistants are very laid back yet remain professional and always make me laugh! I got my permanent crowns in less than two weeks and I have never felt so confident in myself before. I cannot thank you, your lab, receptionists and staff enough for making this the best dental experience I've ever had. I used to have to be medicated or had gas to have something as simple as an exam done. But here I didn't need anything. I was so comfortable and I look forward to coming back for my routine check ups. I plan on having more cosmetic crowns done in the future and I will definitely be returning. Dr. Sharma is the best dentist I have ever had. His "bedside manner" is professional, honest, truthful, pleasant and calm. There is no hard upselling. He and his fantastic staff, two of which are Clarissa and Alicia, are knowledgeable and thorough. They take a lot of photos and x-rays and show you their findings immediately. I had wo crowns done by another dentist, in CA, pop off on separate occasions. He reset one and alleviated the constant pain I had while eating. The other I broke and he replaced it. Again, he alleviated the pain I had from the prior dentist's work. His work is perfection. Dr. Sharma and the office staff make going to the dentist "painless". read more

I have been to various dental offices throughout my life, but I have never wanted to write a review about the experience until today. Can you say WOW! Sunrise Dental in Kent just might have the best Dentists and staff in all of Washington State! The best part is that I was not even the patient, my sister was. We walked in for her 9:30am wisdom tooth extractions. And from the moment you walk through the doors you feel at ease. From the clean setup and comfortable reception area to the work stations in the back. Since I was her driver/moral support during the procedure I was fully aware of all the little things taken place. And I was VERY pleased. Dr. Sidhu is a wisdom tooth genius! He was literally in and out of her mouth in under 10 minutes. Two wisdom teeth later I was still sitting in shock of how graceful and delicate he was with removing her teeth. I immediately exclaimed that I was going to yelp this. I had one wisdom tooth extracted before and it took just about an hour. My face was also used as an anchor and I had more pain than I should have. If I would have gone to Sunrise Dental in Kent I'm sure there were would be two reviews from me. Once again, thank you Dr. Sidhu and all of the staff for their great smiles, and friendly demeanor. I have never felt more cherished and valued as a patient in my entire life! Dr. Jasmine is the BEST and most talented, loving dentist in the world. Her hands are extremely skilled. She makes you feel so comfortable. Infact, she made me feel so special, it felt like I was the only patient on her list! She stayed late to diagnose a painful tooth of mine. Then later that evening I got a text from her asking how I was feeling and if my pain was under control. Then the very next morning, her amazing front desk called and asked how I was feeling! I saw Dr Kahlon around a year and a half ago to have some simple and basic work done. I had a concern regarding a tooth that had a filling that had fallen out. I asked her to fix it because food kept getting stuck inside of the tooth but she told me no, she stated and I quote "If I replace the filling then food will get caught in the tooth and create a larger issue, just continue to keep cleaning it regularly". I'm confused, isn't the point of a filling to prevent this exact situation? Plus as I stated, food was ALREADY getting stuck inside of it. So if she was able and willing to do her job properly, would it or would it not have prevented food from getting stuck in it any longer? So needless to say, she didn't fix it. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago I scheduled an appointment to have the tooth fixed because surprise surprise despite all of my best efforts to constantly clean the tooth after every single piece of food I ate the tooth now has a cavity tens times what it was when I first tried to have it resolved. I was scheduled by their office to see Dr Singh (the worst dentist I have EVER had the displeasure of seeing). I explained the situation and the conversation with her associate Dr Kahlon and she flat out called me a liar, saying the conversation never happened. She was combative amongst many other things and I wouldn't trust her to do dental work on my dogs mouth let alone mine or anyone else I know. I'm glad all of these numerous people have had good experiences but I would take them at face value. I have been going to Sunrise dental for over 15yrs and I have to say that as of late they have become the Dollar Tree of the dental industry. Dr. Jasmine Kahlon is the first dentist that has made me feel comfortable when I go to the dentist. I started going here when I worked in the area and did not have dental insurance. This clinic offered a "cash paying" discount that allowed me to get on track with my oral health. Now that I am insured her office staff makes sure to let us know which plan offers the most features for our individual needs. I drive all the way from Kirkland, WA now because that is how amazing this clinic is. They are super flexible and helpful getting you scheduled. I recently had what I thought was an infection and this location is not open on Mondays. I called her North Bend location and they went out of their way to help me and I ended up going to a Sunrise dental that was local (not affiliated) but the staff helped me on their days off to help ease my mind. I truly appreciate the kind and caring nature of Dr. Kahlon and that is why I will drive the distance for her quality of care. I'm new to this place and I needed a dentist really bad. I walked in and Judy was very helpful and informative. Got me in a week later for some X-rays and I already knew how horrible my teeth were. Dr sharma was kind and straight forward about what needed to be done. I believe my dental assistance name was JB? She was very kind and friendly. Yesterday I had two wisdoms pulled and a deep cleaning on my left side and was there for a little longer than I thought I'd be there but the whole time they were very attentive and thoughtful. Alicia and Dr. Sharma were amazing.Offering food and beverages before the procedure started just in case I didn't eat already or couldn't eat after. Always making sure that I was comfortable and not in any pain. They walked me through everything they were going to do and informed me about whatever the next step was. Alicia was very helpful when informing me about home are and postoperative measures! I hate the dentist and this was my first time in 5 YEARS going back! Their cost is cheaper than other dentists offices around me and they show you your price upfront before anything else. They were great and I'll be sticking with them! read more

Caution! I almost got a three implants that were not needed! $4500! I got a second opinion from another dentist and nothing was wrong with my bridge, nor the tooth that Sunrise said needed to be pulled. And no filling was needed either. None of the work the assistant and the doctor advised was needed -- nothing was wrong with my teeth! Always get a second opinion when major work is needed. read more
