I really like Dr. Lee -- he's very respectful, listens carefully, and takes great care of my dental needs. However, I had an issue with the billing department. I was charged twice for a bill that I had already paid six months ago. When I tried to explain the situation, the accounting person wouldn't listen and kept insisting I hadn't paid. I eventually found proof of payment through my bank, but there was no apology. Because of this experience, I've lost trust in their accounting system. Make sure to always request and keep your payment receipts each time you pay. read more

Daniel Lee is a good dentist, however, I was charged for X-rays that I didn't need. They didn't ask. They just did it knowing that I had retired and had Medicare that did not cover the visit. I called to talk to billing, they reduced a bit and deducted $72.00. I was rebilled the $72.00. I called and explained to someone and they said they would give billing a message to call me, but they didn't call back. I called three times to get this resolved. My brother died suddenly and I am taking care of his matters, so I have no time to deal with them. I'll pay them the damn $72.00. ( The day I was in for my cleaning I was told of Bob Vasquez death....I wasn't quite thinking clearly to stop the gal from doing the X-ray. Bob ALWAYS asked me before he did them....) read more

I have been in the dental business for about 20 years and have been thousands of dental practices. I decide to give a dentist that was closer to my home a try. I was not disappointed. Dr. Lee, Dr. Hodges and the rest of their staff are amazing, accommodating and knowledgeable. From the clinical standpoint the doctors and the staff explain stuff so well. I broke a back tooth and they got me right in. Not being my first crown I knew what to expect and the work began. Painless and efficient is the best way to describe it. When the final crown was put on, it was the first crown I have ever had that did not need any adjustment. I have since then referred three patients to their practice. Dr. Lee and his staff are always friendly, consistent with following up as I have to visit more frequently for my dental treatments, and I am always impressed with his professionalism every visit. This place preformed an unauthorized "Exam" during an agreed cleaning while I was unemployed in 2011. They charged me $100 above what had been agreed. The office staff at the time told me they would take care of the issue. less than a month ago I got a call from a collections agency claiming I owed them $124 which I would have happily paid to not deal with this situation. I asked them to send me paperwork because I didn't want to pay a random amount to a voice on the phone. The agency that sent me the paper work now wanted $175 which seemed dishonest per the phone conversation. I then get a second call demanding $383. then a guy serves me papers asking for $400. I have no choice to pay this $400 for X-Rays I never authorized or wanted in the first place as they had done X-Rays at an appointment less than a week earlier. There was absolutely no reason to preform the X-rays or do any additional work above what had been agreed upon. I would absolutely take your business elsewhere. read more

Great doctor but they are not interested in the well being of their clients. Was a patient here my entire life when they were honest and put families first. Now they have made it so big they are greedy and only take business from the elite. Its unfortunate I was driving 1 hour each way to stay their client and when my insurance switched over they completely turned me away with no other options wouldnt answer my calls never called me back to let me know they messed up with the insurance. They know they were wrong and word of mouth goes a long ways. Nohing good left to say about this business. First off I'm terrible at things like this . My dental health was a disaster . I had broken teeth , cavities and gum disease . My first 3 visits with Dr. Lee were addressing dental pain . Each time I was treated with dignity and professionalism . Each time I received a dental plan . Needless to say I could not afford any further treatments . I have been a patient of Dr. Lee for over 8 years. He is out of network on my insurance, but I consider him worth paying a little extra $$$ for. His staff is exceptionally friendly and always put me at ease. Their new office is beautiful, has free coffee, and things for kids to play with. When I had a crown made in 2014, Dr. Lee wasn't originally satisfied with the color match upon its arrival. He had the lab redo it and met me at their office in Maple Valley (at 6:00AM!!!) to ensure the coloring was right the second time. He went above and beyond! I've never had a doctor do that before. Do not go here for dentures or implants. I had many issues that were causing pain & trying to afford it all just wasn't going to happen. Dr Lee suggested I could have my teeth extracted which would get rid of the pain and get dentures until I could afford full on implants. I decided to go with it & get the dentures. That whole process was a disaster as they changed my appointment 3 times at the last minute and I had to reschedule everything at work and my days off for recovery. They couldn't get an anesthesiologist so eventually they sent me to a different doctor altogether to have them extracted. After that I got horrible looking dentures, they look fake & plastic (I'm under 40 yrs old so that is very upsetting). I was told that I would get my "permanent" dentures about 6 months after surgery so that everything had a chance to heal & there was no more swelling. I called to make that appointment & they said they didn't know what I was talking about and that the one's I have are my final set. I'd have to pay over $2,500 for a new set. Biggest joke of all time. I'm now seeing an actual implant specialist and he can't believe they gave me these awful looking dentures & thought that it was ok. Sure the office staff are all nice & what not but they are not qualified for anything but regular dental work. read more

I have been going to Dr. Lee for over 10 years. He has corrected mistakes made by my previous dentist. I never have felt like I was being over charged or talked into anything that i didn't need. I really hate getting work done but if it is something serious they have offered me nitrous which can help. The staff is friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy working there. At first I really liked Covington smiles. They are so nice and welcoming there. However, that changed when I took my toddler for his 6 month check up and cleaning. I had some concerns with his teeth and the way they addressed me was disappointing. I literally felt terrorized by the assistant. Attacking me for (letting my son brush his own teeth) after I told them I brush them twice a day everyday. (To stop giving him milk to bed) after I told them he doesn't drink milk to bed.. And so forth. Said he has over a dozen cavities and we don't brush his teeth good. And they Referred us out to a specialist ... I ended up going to a different pediatric dentistry and that dentist praised us for our good brushing. Turns out his teeth have more bacteria due to genetics and she was surprised how well his gums looked. And must I add, he didn't even have half a dozen cavities, let alone over a dozen like Dr Lee said he did... Save yourself a trip and find yourself a real pediatric dentist if you're taking your kids here. And if you're taking yourself, best of luck. read more
