I stupidly listened to my next door neighbor and used an hvac company they currently used who told me I had a cracked heat exchanger and CO2 leak and could not fix until one week later. They told me I needed a new furnace, and they completely shut off my heat, and shut off gas... it's supposed to be 12 degrees tomorrow night! I thought this was odd since I have co2 detectors upstairs and downstairs without any known issue. My initial issue was the heating system had been turning on/off repeatedly for several days and I was nervous it could overheat. I told them I'd find someone who could actually help me! Anyways, I call Sunrise Heating and Cooling. Ted from Sunrise Heating came within an hour and saved the day in 5 minutes! Ted you are my hero!!! Apparently, pseg had been repairing gas lines in the area and effected the level of gas coming in from outside. Ted tested the co2 levels around the furnace and the house. The level was 0.1! Within normal range, not dangerous, no reason to leave a girl without heat! Ted adjusted the gas level to the furnace and my furnace was back to normal again. Thank God for honest people! I am so glad I had my new heating system and central air conditioner installed by themThe previous company I used had nstalled an oversized, noisy, and inefficient furnace. When I needed to replace my HVAC system due to a power surge caused by a weather even, Sunrise's technicians took the time to size the new system to my house's square footage and to better accommodate its two zones. Their office staff also worked patiently with me to help me navigate my homeowner's insurance coverage, and even helped me get external financing for an optional extended labor warranty at zero percent interest when paid over twelve months.or less. Our 30 yr old furnace finally died. After reading all of the good reviews of Sunrise on the Bernardsville Facebook page I gave them a call. They arrived very quickly and confirmed the diagnosis that PSE&G provided. We scheduled the installation soon after. The Sunrise team arrived on the scheduled day and did an excellent install. The old furnace had wires, hoses and pipes all over the place, the new install was neat, clean and I no longer bang my head on the stupid pipe on the old furnace. The guys really new their stuff and optimized the new furnace performance to match the space we are heating and cooling. The guys took the time to answer every question and explain the operation of the new unit. We love the Armstrong HVAVC system and are amazed how quiet and effective the 2-stage system is. Can't say enough good things about this company! Twice I had an emergency and twice they came immediately, where 2 other places said they couldn't fit me in for a few days. They discussed the scope of their work before starting and provided a status summary after the work was completed. No surprises or overselling of their services. Incredible service. My oil furnace exhaust fan stopped working and was filling my house with exhaust. I called Sunrise at roughly 6:15am and they were at my house with parts to repair my unit and get it running in under 2 hours. Then they cleaned up the whole site with floor cleaner and all because there was some oil on the ground. Thank you all so much. read more
