One of the best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches I have ever had! (And I live in NYC and have had my fair share of BEC!) Courtney was a wonderful waitress checking in on me several times and always making sure I had what I needed/wanted! Highly recommend!

I really want to like this place! But it just didn't hit for me. First, the cleaners they're using on the tables are very strong smelling so that was distracting. If you have a sensitive nose, beware, even outside! I was excited at all the French toast options, so I went for the Nana was a banana...and it was kinda dry and tasteless. No cinnamon detected. I've had better brioche French toast at home. The scrambled eggs with cheese were just okay. The best thing for me was the fresh squeezed orange juice. Service was slow, and when we asked another server for something, neither her or our server returned. My brother and Dad liked their breakfasts, I believe they got the breakfast tacos and huevos rancheros, so something to consider. This is a cute place, I hope they can improve!

We ordered for take-out. Avocado toast was a big disappointment as it is a popular dish. Way too much mushed avocado that was browning. We just could not eat it.

Cute breakfast spot in OC. Wanted to try this place out. Been driving past it for years and of course have seen the magnets everywhere. Food was good. A little pricey for what you get. $12 for a children's pancake order add a side of bacon. This did not include the drink. We both got breakfast sandwiches which were $12 each as well with a small side of potatoes. My boyfriend ordered the Bacon Avocado Egg sandwich on an everything bagel and I ordered the Scrapple Breakfast sandwich in an everything bagel. Nice size sandwiches with loads of flavor. Our waiter was very nice and was running the whole shop by himself. Even though he was pretty busy he was attentive. He even offered us coffee or water to go. I give this place a one and done. I can check it off the list but I don't think I'll be back or be visiting their other sister locations.

Not a bad place to check out in the ocean city area. Small little location with a nice menu. The staff is friendly. I had special - slow roasted pork with peppers and onions with poached eggs and home fries. It was good, I think the pork could have been seasoned a bit better but a bit of hot sauce on it and it really made it better.

    Breakfast Tacos

I have driven by this place for years and finally decided to check it out. We went there in the off season in November and was expecting the place to be a lot cleaner. Granted the tacos were good, it was pretty much an omelette scrambled onto tacos and the bagel wasn't anything crazy that you would expect. The one waitress that was working was very sweet and the coffee was pipping hot which was awesome.

Unfortunately, after tonight we will never be going back, and I can't recommend it to anyone in good faith. The service we received was so so so disappointing. I would love for this place to improve and for this corner to find a home. At this rate, I just can't see it lasting until summer 2026. Summary below: - We ordered a few items for dinner, and received an estimate of 35-40 minutes. All good so far. - We show up after 40 minutes and nobody comes up to us at the counter for at least 5-6 minutes. Ok, fine. We tell them we're picking up and they go check on things. Keep in mind there are probably 4 people eating in this restaurant and no takeout line to speak of. - After a full hour they finally bring us a brown bag, and tell us it's all ready except for the chicken salad wrap we ordered, which they don't have on hand unfortunately. - "So when did you uncover this???" 10 minutes ago they say. Remember we've been here for 20. Would have been nice to know maybe when we ordered, or at least when we showed up 20 minutes ago?? - We say fine just grab us a Caesar salad, that should allow us to get out of here quickly. - After another 15 minutes (!) they finally bring us our Caesar salad. It has now been a total of 1:15 since our order. - After this ordeal they have the audacity to try to charge us an extra $15 on the bill!! When they tell me to swipe my card luckily I have the presence of mind to review things -- "um, this looks higher than I heard on the phone?" Sure enough, the total was incorrect and they tried to over-charge me. I really don't want to dump on The Grubb but it was just a sad sad experience and we were really so disappointed in the quality of service. It wasn't exactly overflowing with business on this night, and yet everyone seemed really overwhelmed and backed up (maybe understaffed or under-trained?). To make things worse, nobody was very apologetic or made much of an effort to make things right. We had such high hopes (the sandwiches are really great!) but after the worst takeout experience I've had on the island, I will never order from here again. :( - 6/21/2025

The food had a unique and interesting Caribbean flair throughout. Chicken tacos- they were very good with a decent price . It had a very good sauce. Almost too healthy. Can't go wrong with chicken tenders- the fries were nice and crispy. The restaurant itself had a nautical decor. It was really tight in the restaurant- almost too small for the amount of people in the place- they do have outdoor seating. Therefore we settled on huevos rancheros and the breakfast tacos. Wow! again. Everything is cooked to order and was crazy fresh. I mean garden fresh. The onions were sweet and crunchy. The tomatoes were firm and juicy. The black beans were delicious. For both dishes the street taco sized tortillas were freshly grilled, crispy edges and delicate centers that didn't break despite being generously filled. We also got a side order of home fries that were kind of magical. No ads-ins, onions or pepper. No additional salt to be detected. Just small potatoes cut in halves and wedges, subtle, even seasoning throughout. Simple. Absolutely delicious.
