Beds not working properly. Bulbs haven't been changed in almost 9 months. Dishonorable business. I went in for a quick stand up tan. $30 for 10 mins. I tan very easily, so I was surprised that I had zero evidence of one when I finished- (I know the tan takes a second to develop but you can press on your skin to see the evidence of colour) Nothing. The bulbs were super weak while I was in there and I wondered if maybe they were overdue for a change. I went out and kindly alerted the owner, and asked when the bulbs were changed last- she said March- it's November so that's 8.5 months ago- which is a really long time (they should be changed every 6 months). I was bummed at having paid $30 for nothing- plus tanning maximizer. She was clearly bothered and tersely told me to go in for another 10 mins and to "not turn on the fan"- this wasn't about me not feeling warm, it's just about result, and a fan doesn't effect that- keep in mind the maximum is supposed to be 10 so clearly she KNEW they were weak because she wasn't worried about me being burned IF she's saying I should go in for a whole other 10 mins. - that's DOUBLE maximum time- no one with functioning beds would ever risk advising a customer to do double max time, someone could get seriously burned. After that 10 mins a I finally had a little evidence of colour. No problem, just old bulbs and so you need a longer time for them to be effective. I go back today out of convenience and I walked in and was friendly and reminded her I was there last week and that if the bulbs still haven't been changed, should we set the time a bit longer. Welp, that was a problem for her. She said the last time she gave me a "courtesy" free session because it was my first time (side note, I used to go there years ago) I pointed out that it's not a "courtesy"- I have paid for a service that isn't working- or needs more time to get a basic result due to faulty equipment. This isn't the fault of my skin- this is a machine that's not working optimally, so basic time needs to be adjusted until the bed is properly serviced. She's not doing me a favour- I'm paying for a service, not trying to "steal" extra tanning sessions. Needless to say I just took my money elsewhere. I have better things to do than to argue with a business owner about ethics. Spend your money somewhere else. . 9 . . . 10 30. , 1 - ( 1 ) . . . 30 . 10 " " . 10 10 . - . . . 10 . . . . , . Sarah did an amazing job with my spray tan. She was very thorough and checked several times to make sure I didn't need any areas passed over again. I would definitely go back to her! Color has lasted 7 days now and was even and gorgeous! read more

So saw this place couple of times and always wanted to start going to get some tan. One day decided to go. And after a few sessions. Its good and bad. Good-its nice. clean and decent number of rooms...3 rooms...one stand machine and two laying down ones. the owner is a nice lady. and alot of hot women. Obviously room salon/bar korean girls. Some i've met at their work so meeting them outside on their days off was surreal. Some sure do look different. Anyway, decor and machines are not bad. And wait time is pretty non existent. Which leads to the bad... Bad-the reason theres hardly any wait time is the cost. This place is pretty expensive. And as the only one in ktown as a pure tanning salon there isn't that many competition so I guess that lets them set the price. Which is $25 per 11 minutes or you can buy packages like 10 sessions for $200. Im sorry but $25 for 11 minutes? Expensive. I can goto another salon and pay like $10-$15. But alas those other places are too far from me. So I guess i pay for the premium. So if you can live with the price. This place is ok. read more

I've had a lot of airbrush spray tans from many different places and the spray tan from this salon tops them all. All the staffs are so friendly and the salon is well-kept and clean. Sarah took her time to consult with me about the tan color I am looking for and she mixed a formula exclusive to my skin tone n preferred color. She made me feel comfortable entire time n she dried the spray tan to make sure the spray set properly. She also offered me free body stickers to put on so I could see the result right away. I am happy with the result and definitely going back. read more

I found Sunplus Tanning through a Groupon deal towards a customized airbrush tan. Before my purchase, I took a look on yelp. Upon viewing all the fantastic reviews, I had to experience it's greatness for myself. Sarah, the wonderful young lady who applied my spray tan did an excellent job. She explained the process throughly and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Best part, they use all organic ingredients and my spray tan came out looking phenomenally natural. Mind you I have a very fair complexion from my Irish roots. Now I can feel sexy laying on the beach at Catalina Island with my boyfriend in my new bikini for Valentines Day. read more

Sunplus Tanning - Before and After. Definitely feeling a lot more sexy with my new sun-kissed glow from Sunplus Tanning. - Spray Tanning Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I've been coming here for close to a year now. I love this place and the staff is super sweet and very accommodating. When I first started coming here I was definitely a beginner but I took the deal for 10 sessions for $99.00 and I've renewed the deal twice already. I recently took advantage of a new deal which includes 3 free sessions with a purchase of a tanning lotion. Are usually come here for the tanning bed sessions but I did get a spray tan once and it came out amazing. I would save the spray tans for special occasions considering that I am satisfied with the color that I get from just the bed. If you are in the koreatown area check this place out I definitely recommend. read more

I've been coming here for custom spray tan for a few months now and Sarah is the best! She is friendly, consistent and reliable. Her spray tan is always even-looking and never orange (very natural!!) This is by far the best spray tan I have ever had. I called two days before and they were able to accommodate me exactly when I was hoping to come in. Sarah did my tan and she took her time to answer every question that I had. While doing my spray tan, I never felt rushed. She was very thorough & worked hard to make sure I got the tan I like. The tan color turned out absolutely perfect and lasted longer than any spray tan I've ever had. The application was completely even and I had no streaks or smudges. I absolutely ADORE this place! read more

I am so so happy with the results. I have gone to many spray tan salons and I can say I have never seen the results come out as good as this spray tanning place! Sarah thank you so much I loved how my tan looked!!!! read more

I am really happy with the spray tan I received from this place. I needed a quick tan to prep me for my trip to Cancun, so a friend of mine recommended that I visit this tanning salon for a quick custom airbrush spray tan. I didn't expect much, but the spray tan I received was flawless! It lasted over a week without any streaks or patches, and the tan wore out evenly. I was really impressed with the way that Sarah paid attention to lots of detail work and how she made sure that I was happy with my tan. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process, I am definitely coming back! read more

My first time getting a spray tan, Sarah is hands down amazing, friendly and made me feel really comfortable. She also honored the $25 Groupon instore! read more

This tanning salon gets the job done. They only have three beds that are all level five, but their prices make up for their lack of options. Honestly, a few sessions in level five beds are really all you need for a nice tan that should last almost a month. The staff is super sweet. Salon itself seemed pretty clean. Just not as fancy as some of the other tanning salons, but the price is much better for the tan you'll end up with. read more

I love this tanning salon! It is a little pricey, but there is never a wait. The Korean lady who works there is very nice. She never tries to push tanning packages. The beds are always clean and the machines are new. I had a monthly membership at another salon and I will never get locked into that trap again. I do not mind paying a little more for a (hassle free) high quality salon. read more

Love this tanning salon! The salon is very clean and all the machines are new & well-maintained. They have two tanning beds n one stand-up. I tried their beds and I felt like I was in a time machine! They were very fancy and spacious. They only have new & high level machines and I've been to many other tanning salons and they don't have a decent bed like this place or they charge more for the same level of beds. I paid $20 for 1 session (12 minutes max) and I could see a result right away. I actually put on one of the tanning stickers (it was free!!) on my lower belly and i got the tanning tattoo right away after one session. I loved the result so I ended up signing up for their monthly unlimited which was super affordable ($89/month). Another good thing about this place is that you get a FREE session if you buy a bottle of tanning lotion there and they have free parking!! Hope this helps! read more

I have been looking for a good tanning spot by my work so that I'm able to walk there during my lunch. This was the first tanning salon to show up when I searched it on YELP, and the reviews were all good. Although it was mostly for spray tans, I still thought it would be worth a shot to check it out. So I looked up their website, and they were running a special for unlimited tanning!!! So I walked there on my lunch break and inquired about their online special, the ladies who talked to me about it were very nice. To do unlimited tanning for 8 minutes was $89.99 a month and for 10 minutes it's $99.99 a month. I chose the 10 minute plan which in the end, including taxes, and etc cost me $139. Yes it's a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it because it will take me awhile to get to the tan color I would like. They have 3 tanning beds, 2 lay down beds and 1 stand up bed. They are the of the highest quality, and are tanning level 5. I always choose the Ergoline lay down bed, because I've used it before in the past. They don't have the eye protector's that most salon's have, so you either have to purchase these sticker's for $1 from them, or use your own protective eyewear. They also sell them for $6 and I ended up buying a pair, because at least I know that it's just me wearing them. Also if you want to continue the unlimited tanning the next month, at least for my 10 minute plan, it will cost $109. I'm not sure yet if I will continue it, depending on how tan I get after this month, I might just have to come in 2 a month to keep up my tan. But I really like this place, and even for them having only 3 beds, I have never had to wait for a bed. I've gone twice already and am loving the color that I'm starting to achieve. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to tan!!! Summer is here and you don't want to be as white as a ghost when you go to the beach! read more

Not worth it. It didn't work for me. Also I got 2month anytime use and couldn't really use it because it was so hard to make appointment with them . What's the point of getting monthly use when you can't even make appointment ? read more

Got a spray tan before my trip to Vegas and it was the best airbrush spray tan that I've ever had. I've been to many tanning salon and they usually spray me very quickly and leave me alone to dry myself, however the service I received from Sunplus Tanning was totally different. Sarah was very thorough and took her time to spray me from every single angle and dried me after each pass. I've never been to a tanning salon that does that! When she finished spraying, she also dried me completely so I didn't feel sticky at all. I was amazed by her very detailed work and she gave me a very natural looking tan. I will be back for sure. read more

Best spray tan experience in LA. I've gotten plenty of spray tans in my past, but I truly think this was by far the best experience yet. I discovered Sunplus Tanning on Yelp and my experience here was amazing. The technician talked me through her different tanning option and mixed a custom color after asking me what kind of results I was looking to achieve. She also made me feel very comfortable the entire time and she did an amazing job. My tan looks so natural with a nice bronze glow. Best of all, it was not sticky at all! All other spray tans at other places were super sticky and wet but the solution she sprayed on me smelled great and felt so light. I am so happy with the result and I'll definitely be back! read more

I've done an airbrush tan before. I'm new to Korean town and found this place that does airbrush, I read the reviews about the airbrush and they seemed very happy with the results... I got the darkest color, I showered, shaved, and exfoliated before. When the session was finished I saw the results right away and waited 24 hours to shower. The day I showered it literally washed the color away, I didn't scrub, I used body wash and bathed with my hands smoothly on my body, as I was told to... they said usually it lasts a week but it only lasted 2 days, I was so dark and now it's all blotchy and I don't look tan.. I'm disappointed because airbrush tans are supposed to last longer than a few days! I know I did everything right to keep the color but as soon as the water hit my body all the color washed away after waiting 24 hours. I wasted money and will not go back. The lady was very sweet and made me feel comfortable being nude but it didn't last and was looking blotchy just after 3 days read more

Walked in and back out... 20 for 8min is way too expensive for me and that's the cheapest but it looked nice and clean

The best spray tan I have ever gotten and worth every penny. I've gotten a couple spray tans at different places before and they always either faded really quickly or looked unnatural in certain areas of my body. But spray tan I got from Sunplus Tanning was perfect. No streaks, no awkward colored hands or feet and no orange. People kept telling me how great I looked and when I told them that I've got spray tan they were super surprised. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This place is amazing!! read more

I come here for this sunless tan (spray). At first it's uncomfortable just because you have to get naked but I couldn't think of a nicer place to go to that makes you feel any more comfortable. As a tanning enthusiast, I've been to a lot of tanning salon in my life. I've gone to a bunch of terrible ones and a couple of really good ones, but this place really hits the spot. Though the prices might be a bit higher than the other salons, you really get what you pay for. By that, I mean the machines here are fabulous. Not only are they comfortable and cozy, they really get the job done. I've seen major results in 3 or 4 10-minute sessions. By the end of the 10 sessions you get in a normal package (the lady who owns the place is really nice too, she'll often give you one or two extra sessions if you get the package as a bonus), you end up with a beautiful golden beach-body tan that every tanner would die for. Why would you spend money at a cheap tanning salon and get no results (and spend even more money trying), when you can pay a little bit more and get the full results? Sun Plus is definitely the place you can go for excellent, fast, and beautiful tans. read more
