This is genuinely a very cozy, clean, modern, and stylish tanning salon. I used to travel from different towns just to come here because it is the best. Now I also know that customers are always cared for, which makes it even more pleasant to visit. As long as business owners are so attentive to their customers, their business is bound to be successful. My mood was initially ruined after visiting this place because some employees did not follow the working guidelines. I was disappointed, but the owner personally apologized for the incident and said he would speak with the staff to improve my next experience. And he truly did! I came here using ClassPass when looking for a wellness provider in the area! I had been here once two years ago and had such a great experience, I was excited to return. I was greeted by the friendly associate as soon as I entered. The check in process was so quick and easy and I was guided to the room with the red light beds. I was thrilled to be able to experience the magic of red light in a full body experience. The room was big and clean and I felt comfortable changing out of my clothes there. The bed was very easy to operate and opened and closed effortlessly. The bed was such an interesting experience and I didn't feel claustrophobic at all. I loved how I could also take my phone in with me during the 15 minutes (I was assured it was safe). I felt so relaxed and at ease afterwards and I could see how doing this regularly would be effective relief for body pain and anti-aging. I cannot wait to return soon! read more

Really enjoy coming here. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. They take the time to answer all your questions and never make you feel rushed out. I've never gone tanning so I have been new to all of it and they made it such a stress free introduction. Feels like a little spa/me time every time I come in. The red light is great. Sauna is nice. I've been coming to this place for 3 years since 2023 using the stand up bed in room #10. At the end of 2025 the bed was changed to a newer one, which is HORRIBLE. You cannot be in it for longer than a minute. Even with ventilation it is way too hot and impossible to breathe. Today was the 3rd time I used it. I just couldn't do it. The first time I used it I was going in an out of the bed to simply breathe and I didn't tan all. The second time the worker showed me how to use the ventilation button and it was more or less bearable. The ventilation wasn't strong but at least it was working. This third time I pressed the ventilation button it said I chose the ventilation but nothing had changed. It was unbearably hot inside. I can't even describe. Burning hot and no ventilation or air whatsoever. Impossible to breathe. I walked out, got dressed and went to the front desk. The gentleman who was working there tonight wasn't nice or accommodating the way he should've been. When I said I just cant do it, he said okay I will notate your account for them to give you one session instead of this one. LOL but I want to tan now, how about that?! I was in that bed for less than 2 minutes and walked out because it's way too hot to stay there. He said they're busy right now for him to change anything and that he also uses this bed and it's fine to him. Long story short he did offer me a lay down bed in room #14 in the end but it should not have taken so long for him to do so to remediate the situation. Also, he made it seem like it was my problem that I dont "like" the bed. After I told him I cant do this new standup and I dont like the lay down bed because my tan in uneven he asked if there ever was a bed in here that I liked. Not the right time for sarcasm, ok. Yes, the stand up bed that was in room #10 before was perfect and I never had an issue with it. If an owner of this place will ever read this review please replace or fix the stand up bed in room #10 before someone gets seriously burned, collapses or has a panic attack in there. And please train your employees on better customer service if keeping a customer long term is any of your concern, of course. read more

I love Sun Spa tanning! I originally started going to their facility in Northridge but I work in Encino so I started going to their location on Ventura in Sherman Oaks. They are always polite, they always have deals, I not only love their tanning beds but I love their wraps! I loved coming here and the staff is always friendly, however, the past few times I've used the Versa Spray Tan machine, my tan has been extremely uneven, with my entire right side being much paler than my left side. The first time this happened a month ago, they admitted it was because the machine needed to be re-calibrated (yet still would not let me come in for a re-spray because it was days later, even though I got a spray tan the night before flying out of town for Thanksgiving and could not come in the next day.) They re-calibrated the machine, and I went once after and my tan was even and I was very happy with it. I needed a spray tan before flying out of town to see my family for Christmas, and once again, got a spray tan the night before my flight. The tan once again was uneven, with my right side much paler than the left (pictured below). I called and left a voicemail describing my issue on 12/22. Left a call back number and all my info. Didn't hear back from anyone for days. Called again upon my return to LA today, 12/28. The woman who answered was nice, but I was told the manager said "it must be something I'm doing -- something you're putting on." I don't put on ANYTHING before getting a spray tan. They basically told me it's my problem. If I'm paying for service, I expect to be satisfied with the outcome. I've worked in customer service for years and this is not how you remedy a situation like this. They could have just let me come in for a re-spray, but instead, they wanted to shift the blame back onto the customer. I will not be returning. Find somewhere else. read more

I arrived at 7:50 to get a versa spray tan for an event the following day and the doors were already locked. I called the number and the person working there (I don't want to say who it was because they said they would get in trouble with their boss) told me that they took their last appointment at 7:30. I explained that I usually come between 7:45 and 7:50 and have never been turned away before and also that I had a red carpet event the following day and they were so incredibly kind to let me in. I hate the idea that this person would "get in trouble" with their boss for amazing customer service and going the extra mile for a long time customer. Not only is there Tanning here, there are Infra Red Saunas. If you haven't yet experienced one, you are in for a treat. You will sweat profusely and, oh my goodness, you will feel so clear headed when you leave. The infra red technology is super detoxifying, digs deeper than a regular dry sauna. I was so disappointed by calling into this establishment and reaching a front desk girl who had no real knowledge in tanning beds and ended up hanging up on me. The call began by me asking "how much her 12 minute beds cost and what deals they have currently?" and let her know that I know that typically Tanning but it's go from 15 to 10 to 12 minutes depending on the type of tan that you want the type of way you usually tan (burn, tan easily, etc). She let me know that there were multiple 12 minute beds that they have as well as you can go in a 15 minute bed for only 12 minutes. I let her know that "I want to use the 12 minute bed to do 12 and see if there's any packages" and she just kept repeating the same thing and then said "well we have different 12 minute beds." I asked her three different times what are the different versions of the 12 minute beds? is it the bulbs? A different voltage? The brand of the bed" She said "they're just different." LOL. I then asked her again "I would like to understand the knowledge behind the differences... Can you explain it to me so that I can know which one I would be interested in?" She gave with an attitude said "the bulbs are at a higher rate so you're gonna tan differently." with an annoyance in her. I then said "this is what I've been saying and asking you.." and she said "Okaaaaaay" with an attitude and as I was saying "I was trying to understand the knowledge so you should explain it better for future customers" she hung up on me.
