This location was so great! Parking is behind the building and there were several spots open when we went. I took my little sister with me for her first ever spray tan and I am so glad I did. I've been a regular client in the studio on 3rd street in WeHo, which makes today's experience even more disappointing. I had an appointment booked for the last slot of the day - because I needed a tan for my birthday. A once-a-year occasion that I specifically planned for!! I took an Uber to get there. I arrived at 10:52, just 2 minutes past the latest time they said they could take me (10:50). Despite explaining the situation and asking if we could do a quicker session - which has been done before - I was refused without any flexibility or willingness to help. What's truly disappointing is not even the refusal, but the complete lack of basic understanding and customer care, even knowing it was for a special occasion. Losing a loyal client over 2 minutes and handling it this way says everything. I won't be ever coming back after this!!! read more

Unbelievably mortifying experience as a trans woman going here. They treated me like a man gave me a man thong to wear and said they were just going based off of my anatomy so they were treating me like a man and see trans women as a category of men instead of women. I guarantee this is an extremely unique experience for them, and they were absolutely not smart enough, not caring enough to be accommodating and inclusive. I even told the spray tan girl who was some younger 20s blonde girl from Florida who was dumb as rocks because I told her that I'm a pre-op trans woman, and she looked at me before and goes slay girl! Then proceeded to treat me like a man. This company did absolutely nothing but give me the runaround when I complained about it. They said they would talk to the company and see if they can change the verbiage on the website and in the training so that they know what a trans person is and a month later nothing has changed on their website and I doubt anything has happened behind the scenes except them seeing me as a crazy person when I'm simply just trying to get spray tan like every other woman and had a mortifying experience that no trans person should ever have to go through. Shame on this location shame on this company and I will be going back to see if it happens again and to do more research. I'm ready to do a full out social media smear campaign on them. read more

I've been a member for years even during pandemic and S&B team provides amazing customer service and their sugaring services are top notch. I've never had problem making an appointment online and they're always on time. I've only had them run late once and they were extremely courteous to make it right. I really really appreciate the amazing customer service in today's world where it seems to be going missing. The salon is clean, always smells amazing thanks to the scented candles (you can buy these with a discount if you're a monthly member) and the staff are always friendly and fantastic. You should also definitely try their spray tans if you're getting pictures taken because it helps you photograph even better. They also make it extremely easy for members to switch their membership tiers by email if needed. Their email response teams are also amazing and quick. I'd had some issues previously with being charged for complimentary services and not being able to cancel membership. Not only did management go above and beyond in rectifying my issues, but they also took my feedback and added clauses for how to cancel membership. I saw Savannah for my first session with S+B, as a regular of EWC and I think it's very easy for me to say I will be switching to sugaring. Savannah was incredibly gentle, efficient, and informative.
