I haven't had any reactions to the products either, which is nice because my skin can be kind of reactive. I struggle with rosacea and melasma, and this facial won't eradicate those, but I am so floored by my overall tone. It just looks brighter! I can't really explain it. This was an aggressive, albeit very productive facial. It was very focused on actual skincare as opposed to massage/feeling good which I appreciated, although it's a bit less comfortable! My technician started by asking detailed questions about my skincare routine, down to the products I was using for cleansing and prepping. I learned that some of the ingredients I use for sensitive skin are also very drying, which was a wake up call for me because I've been using them for years! I did the haus facial and got a cleanser, extractions, oxygen, ice roller, and peel/mask included. Some of the products felt a bit harsher (the mask was peppermint and kale which felt like a mint blast to the face lol) but I noticed way more results than normal. I wouldn't recommend going straight to an event because there was some face purging I experienced, but my 3-4 day old skin looked stunning and I'm noticing much calmer skin now in the following week. Horrible at every step. Be warned there are no private rooms. So while on the treatment chair -- with a broken arm -- I was subject to the cashier's loud personal call, conversation in the waiting room, other workers talking to clients ("What's your favorite type of music? Country. Do you like Taylor Swift? Not really, but I like Christmas music......."), and an employee banging metal bowls (washing dishes?). And I was laying down beneath a large skylight with the sun blasting down on me during the treatment. Worst of all, the employee applied an acid peel, which did this to me (see pic). Not relaxing. Not enjoyable. And even with first-time discount not appropriately priced. Never going back. If you want to relax, be pampered, and not be burned: Go anywhere else. The place has gone down hill. I missed my appointment due to a family emergency and they still charged me. I contacted the store after things were resolved and the store had no empathy for me. Jackie the proclaimed lead esthetician was rude, lacked empathy and very unprofessional. Jackie has now called me and emailed me to fight with me to take down this review and has harassed me about the yelp review. She tried to bribe me with the refund in an effort to take this down. Just avoid this place at all costs!!! The good staff have moved on and left. I will never return to a place that shows no consideration or support for when their customer has a problem that is very stressful. Poor customer service. Go down the street to HeyDay. I really wanted to love this place because the concept is so brilliant. The setup gave me Drybar feels. But I was sadly disappointed with the outcome. My daughter and I decided to check this place out. We were able to get the same time appointment which was awesome! The parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. But luckily, I found a good spot. The store itself was nice, and the staff was inviting. Our esthies were Raina and Katie. The service that I had was the world of difference, and my daughter had the teen spirit. The actual service for me was enjoyable. But afterward, I wasn't very happy. I've had many facials before, and even though my face is red, I can still see a certain glow in my skin, and I always feel good about myself. But for some reason, I didn't get that feeling with Face Haus. Maybe the products that they use just are not for everyone. My daughter was crying afterward, and she felt her face looked worse afterwards. Raina popped pimples that weren't even ready nor should have been popped. I found out once in the car that my daughter was crying in the chair. My daughter is 12 and is still learning to speak up on things. But I guess it was super painful for her. I wish I had known before so I could stop her treatment. So now, my daughter never wants to get a facial because of this experience. She, too, didn't have that afterglow. Instead, she had tears in her eyes. Three stars because Katie was so lovely and was great! Please don't use this company or pass them your credit card information. They have WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION ran my card numerous times. When I called to see what was going on and why transactions have appeared on my bank statement I was told that I had 'no show appointments'. They could not show proof of those appointments being made by my phone number and are refusing to refund. Extremely unprofessional and clearly a scam company. I have had to report this to both my credit card and to the Attorney General's Public Inquiry Unit. I also want to state that they sold me a 3 package deal and did not let me know at the time of the sale that there was an expiry date on this package, I was simply told I could use this whenever I wanted. Turns out this is not correct and that there is an expiry date. I would try another company, the stress this company have caused me and the fact that I now have to go ahead and cancel my credit card in fear that they take more unauthorized payments is just not worth it. They're run super unprofessionally, please find a better place for your facials! read more

My wife enjoyed a relaxing facial with Fernando last weekend with her friend from out of town. She was impressed by how Fernando customized the treatment and gave her tips on how to maintain a healthy skin routine (without making her feel like she had to purchase any products, although she did end up purchasing a skin product). One thing she wasn't sure about was the fact that the facial wasn't in a private room but she felt very relaxed and comfortable the entire time. The staff is nice, but I don't know where these estheticians learned to do facials. They don't include any neck attention, which is pretty standard for facials. In fact, any other place I've gotten a facial it includes neck AND décolletage. They do a lot of putting a product on your face and just letting it sit for a few minutes, instead of spending the time massaging it in. It's not relaxing AT ALL because you're basically in a large room with a bunch of other people making noise. It's like a facial factory instead of a spa. They also charge a $2 Covid cleaning fee, which is a joke. Were you not cleaning thoroughly before the pandemic? Any spa should have a very high standard of cleanliness, pandemic or not. I've heard about them through from buzzfeed videos such as The Try Guys, Ladylike, The Test Friends, and etc. I've had a wonderful experience for the 3 times that I have been here. The last time I was here, Carly walked me through each step of the facial process. She was extremely friendly while taking care of my skin needs. We started the facial, but then the stuff i needed was add ons, and extra charges. Initial facial was at $55, then plus the add-ons and they wanted me to buy the product. so total came out to $155. I previously had seen Face Haus featured in Buzzfeed. They gave the Buzzfeed gals, three different facials that they offer. I was in the West Hollywood area and wanted to check this place out. Experience: I just got done here with my Haus Special facial. The quality of the facial here was just amazing. The menu offers a variety of facials, and lots of awesome add-ons as well. The facial I received, had lots of different things going on. I had a pineapple enzyme on my face, to a strawberry rhubarb mask on... everything smelled so amazing and fresh. One of the best parts about the facial for me, was the cooling globes at the end. Atmosphere: This salon is so clean, fresh, and bright. They have very beautiful decorations throughout their salon, which add a nice touch to the salon. Such things as the neon signs and the blue detailing - really makes this place look classy. The salon itself is very clean, everything is white, chairs are white, walls are white - this is great when you go into any salon. The feeling of having a clean place of where you are getting any type of treatment done, is really important. Staff: My esthetician was Kalion (sp?), anyways she was absolutely fantastic. She was so gentle with her technique. She explained everything so thoroughly throughout the facial. I was so appreciative that she explained exactly what she was doing. She had a great personality, and made great conversation as well. I would definitely recommend her for a facial. I loved my Keep Glowing facial by Ruth Jacobs. Being an Esthetician myself it was so amazing being on the receiving end. She recommended a blueberry enzyme peel add on. The extractions performed were painless and meticulous. I enjoyed the steam, serum applications and lip treatment. I purchased a cold roller for lymphatic drainage. I loved the glass globes she used as well which led me to my purchase. The location has all the esthetics chairs out in the open but placement perfect as to not feel overly exposed. I booked online for a microdermabrasion facial. Upon arriving I was told that the microdermabrasion tool wasn't available. I was not given any notice about this, nor an opportunity to reschedule. When asked to have my service discounted since I wasn't getting the service I reserved they offered me FIVE DOLLARS off. Pretty offensive for a place that charges 100 plus for facials. Next my esthetician didn't explain any of the products she was using, answer any of my questions, and didn't even spend the full hour on my appointment. Thought my appointment was at 10:30 but it was at 10:15. They called at 10:20 to ask where I was. I apologized and clarified the error but said I was almost there. They told me not to come in at all and charged me a $25 no show fee except randomly said if I came in at 10:30 I could get a $50 LED treatment but couldn't do anything else. It was absolutely bizarre and the appointments for the day were fully open when I booked so this is a completely random policy. Don't see anything in the confirmation email about how being 15 minutes late means you better turn around even if you were halfway there and not show up -- all in all I probably would have been 10 minutes late but she scared me into not coming in at all. I've had facials from $60-$140 and tbh didn't see major difference between the varying prices apart from ambiance. Basic facial is $55 but most $65... my skins pretty good apart from random breakouts... with each breakout I get a dark spot from the apparent high levels of melanin in my skin...oh joy! I did buy a package $355 for 6 facials and one gifted option. I'm going to try out different esthetician and hope I get better results from extractions then this place would be my new go to place! The esthetician's are great I had 3 different one's through the month's I came here. I came monthly for a few months this past year since I had bought a package. I recommend parking at the Beverly Connection and walking a few blocks, if you do not want to deal with street parking. I was always satisfied with the facials. The only thing that I didn't like was the upsell that never made sense but I said OK anyways. I always got the "Spotless Reputation" facial that is for acne and includes extractions but every esthetician said I also needed to do the Add On to do extractions on my whole face or else it would just be a section on the face. The add on makes sense when you book a non acne focused facial but not when you already book an acne focused facial. Pros's is that you are in and out within an hour with a cleeean face. read more

The last time I went to Face Haus was 2 years ago and had a really pleasant experience. I went the other day and had a facial with Lily who was very lovely and straight to the point. I felt like she assessed my skin correctly, and did a nice job with extractions. My skin felt smooth afterwards. Overall, a solid and quick facial. However, I was very underwhelmed with some of the front of house staff. When I first walked in they assigned me to the wrong esthetician that I initially signed up for, offered me water but never brought it over, and never looked up from the computer to acknowledge me after I filled out my information. My facial chair was near to front desk and one person behind the desk was talking so loudly about what products she sold and the sales that day. I do know this is not the place for a spa setting, and is a communal and more fast-paced environment, however I expected a slightly more professional experience from the get-go. read more

Today was my second visit to Face Haus. I love how inexpensive the facials are and the options to add on a peel, eye rise treatment, extraction, etc. My esthetician was Marie, who was as sweet as can be. I came to her with absolutely no knowledge about skin and she did not make me feel bad for it. She assessed my skin and decided that I get the Haus Special with other add on recommendations. Marie let me know everything that was about to add to my face and what kind of sensation I would feel, so she would warn me if it was going to hurt/tingle a little or if it would be cold. I know this might be normal and obvious, but I appreciated it haha. She ended up writing out a whole list of recommendations that I should add to my skincare routine. Four products later, she explained what to do with each one. She even gave me a little sample of moisturizer, which honestly will go a long way. I'm hyped about it! I came out spending way more than I wanted, but I didn't feel forced to buy any of the products and really trusted that she was knowledgable and wanted to help.
