    Sheetz - Still dirty

We grabbed dinner from Sheetz, and for gas station food, it was surprisingly great. We ordered the…read moreappetizer sampler, a burger, and the brisket melt. The sampler we chose came with mozzarella sticks, chicken bites, and mac n cheese bites for around $5, which is a steal. The burger was about $6 once I added cheese, but the base price is around $4.99--super cheap. The brisket melt was also $4.99. We grabbed bottled drinks too, which were around $2-$3. Overall, very affordable and a lot of food for the price. The burger itself was pretty mediocre--tasted like a frozen Costco patty. The brisket melt was okay, but the seasoning was whatever and the bagel bun was tough since it wasn't toasted. Still better than the burger, but nothing special. Now the appetizers... those carried the whole meal. The chicken bites had too much breading, so I probably wouldn't get those again. But the mozzarella sticks were honestly some of the best I've had. And the fried mac n cheese bites were a risky pick, but they paid off--they had Kraft-style noodles with perfect breading. If you like Kraft mac n cheese (which I do), they were amazing. Overall, eating dinner from a gas station was a gamble, but it ended up being worth it. The main meals were mediocre, but the appetizers--especially the mozzarella sticks and mac n cheese bites--totally made up for it. I'd go back just for those.

This was my go-to place for coffee, their java alert flavor is no joke!! I used to get the dark…read moreroast until another customer introduced me to the java alert and I never went back. However, lately I've been a little disappointed with the coffee for a couple reasons. 1. The coffee has been very watered down..literally. Even when I came on a Sunday, another customer mentioned out loud that it looked like more water is coming out. 2. Is this a convenient/gas station store or a mom and pop shop?? Why are they now pouring creamers and milks in glass bottles? People want to make their coffee pour the creamer and get out of there, not have to turn around each bottle to read what's in each one. And how do we even know they aren't pouring new creamer/milks over old liquids? Can they please bring back the original containers?? I'm slowly limiting my visits here. It hurts to give 2 stars from my previous one. But the coffee is literally the only reason I come here.
