Sneaky! They DO have less expensive regular and plus gas (70 cents less in some cases), BUT the pumps for these run super slow. YET the premium gas, which is not less expensive runs normally. I see many people getting frustrated and leaving or getting the expensive gas. Not a great way to provide service to your loyal customers. I timed it and when I say SLOW I mean SLOW. It took 30 minutes for it to pump out 3.67 gallons. So be prepared for a VERY long wait if you have to fill your tank. Fortunately, I have nothing but time as it gave me the opportunity to write this post. read more

I visit Sunoco's frequently, This time i stopped to pump $30 worth of gas at $3.09 a gallon. I received 7.69 worth of gas which is off by 2 gallons, i politely informed the clerk about the error and he said you payed already and he could not do anything about it. After a few minutes he gave me a managers phone # to contact and it was an invalid #. 2 gallons is $6.18 and if you add up all the errors that has happened it ads up to a lot. Just want to let everyone know to keep and eye out for these errors and as customers we should be Compensated for manual errors. read more

If I could give a less than 1 star review I would. I came in and asked nicely to get change for a $20 and the guy said I needed to buy something first, so I did then when I asked to get change he claimed that he didn't want to give me the change in his register for his shift so he just tricked me to get my business. I was very respectful and polite. I do not believe I deserved this and will be sure not to give this Sunoco anymore of my business. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, first for the dangerous treatment and secondly because this station was not equipped with soapy water and paper towels to clean your windshields when I went there over most of the years. I am over 40, have lived in the general area for seven years and have used that gas station several times, eaten in the local restaurants, and shopped at Wegmans nearby. I have never had a bad experience at any of those businesses before. I also have never had to go inside the convenience store before. I have usually paid at the gas bay, inserting my credit card into it, to get gas. On May 3rd at about 10 am, I went to one gas bay and my card could not be used. There was no note telling customers it could not be used. I pulled into another stall and could insert my card, however, I did not get a receipt. After filling my car up with gas, I went inside. There was one man there, a South East Asian or Arabic man, and he looked at me and he asked me in mean way and without greeting, what I wanted and I said to get a receipt for the gas, after I paid for some snacks in cash. I repeated twice what the number of the staff was, and he I told him the stall number. That information is on their machines. He yelled at me so I told him calmly that I did not like his tone, got my receipt and exited the store. As I was walking to my car, he came outside saying he could call the police. This was dangerous as it was a non black person threatening a black person to inflict the police on them just because I told him that I did not like his tone. I will never go back to that station if this is how they treat people and because it is dangerous in this environment to threaten people. read more

The location for me is great because it is right across the street from Wegmans where I buy my groceries. Prices are also very reasonable!

Not very pleased with Sunoco right now. Went to buy my usual and the lady behind the counter could not get the credit card machine to work. I let that slide. I fill up my tank and find I cannot even wash my windows. How hard is it to pour washer solvent. Very unprofessional and careless. Sunoco - Gas Stations Near Me - Alexandria, Virginia

On some day this place is the cheapest in the area and on some day it is not. Even on the days with the higher prices, they are not that rediculously high like some gas stations. I like the location of this gas station since it is close to my house and businesses the in shopping center that I frequent. I also like the fact that they give you enough space between the pumps so you can comfortable move your car without worrying that you will hit the one near by. read more

I enjoy stopping here. The prices are reasonable but I always shop around to ensure they continue to beat others. In response to a previous review by the idiot who said they water down their fuel. That is impossible stupid. Water will actually clog to fuel filter because they are made of a paper style cartridge in the metal canister. Gas stations have never watered their fuel down. The real issue is old steel tanks either leaked water in and fuel out into the soil, or the tanks would sweat from the temperature changes in the surrounding soil. However, steel fuel tanks haven't been used since the 90s. And any old steal tanks have had to be removed and replaced. Additionally all fuel pumps have filters to capture residual moisture. The more likely issue is there was moisture in his fuel tank or an issue with his fuel system. As far as this location. I've never had an issue. read more
