I had the worst experience at this nail salon and will not be coming back…read more The lady who did my nails did a terrible job. The shape of my nails is uneven, and there was still nail polish left around my cuticles when she finished. It looked rushed and unprofessional. Then I went to get my toes done, and that experience was even worse. The man doing my pedicure was very rough and aggressive. Instead of simply asking me to move or lower my foot, he would just grab and pull it without saying anything. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. When I got home, I realized my toes weren't done correctly. I tried calling the salon that same day, but no one answered. The next morning, I called as soon as they opened and explained the situation. Before even looking at my toes, the woman insisted that I had regular polish instead of gel. I knew for a fact I paid for gel because I remembered asking for it and paying the higher price. I asked if they could print my receipt, and I was told, "We don't give out receipts." I don't understand how a customer can't receive proof of what they paid for. When I went back to the salon, she told me it would cost an additional $30 to fix my toe because it would be considered a "color change." I refused because I wasn't paying extra to correct a mistake they made. She continued insisting it wasn't gel polish until she finally tried removing it herself and realized I had been telling the truth the entire time. Instead of apologizing, she became embarrassed and upset, then handed me off to another employee to fix my toes. I also asked who I could speak with to get a copy of my receipt. She rushed through giving me a phone number so fast that I could barely understand her, and I still never received a receipt. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was poor, they were unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes, and their pricing seems inconsistent. They don't have prices clearly posted, and it feels like the cost changes depending on who is doing your service. I would not recommend this salon. If you decide to go, make sure you ask for the exact prices before your service begins and carefully inspect your nails and toes before you leave.

Great pedicure, wonderful massage, and very reasonable price!…read more I came into Zen Nails & Spa as a walk-in with no appointment and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at all. I was paired with Mimi, and she did an excellent job. I had gel polish that needed to be removed before my pedicure, and one thing I especially appreciated was that Mimi did not grind it off with a Dremel/electric nail sander. She removed it gently, which is a big plus for me. My feet were also in terrible shape pain-wise. I spend a lot of time outside at our farm and had been walking over rocks, so they were extremely sore. I explained to Mimi in Vietnamese that my feet really hurt and needed some extra attention, and she understood exactly what I meant. She gave me one of the best foot and lower-leg massages I've had during a pedicure. For me, that part alone was priceless. I had also just gone through a very scary experience driving on I-20 earlier that morning, so sitting down with a glass of wine and having someone work the knots and soreness out of my feet was exactly what I needed! They have a really good selection of colors, displayed in color books rather than making you hunt through bottles. The salon itself isn't one of those huge, ultra-luxury nail spas -- it's fairly simple -- but everything I saw was clean and comfortable, and I'd much rather have excellent service than pay extra for fancy décor. I chose the pedicure that was one level above the basic pedicure, added gel polish, and the total was $55 before tip -- including the gel polish. I thought that was very reasonable, especially considering how much time Mimi spent on the massage and my feet. Excellent value, excellent service, and I would definitely return and request Mimi. One thing to know before heading over: Zen Nails & Spa is closed on Tuesdays.

I didn't have to correct the nail technician at all, and normally I do. I believe I got the Milk and Honey pedicure and the paraffin wax and hot stone massage are always my favorite qualities of a pedicure. If you haven't gotten those before, get this pedicure! It's well worth it. Also, for any flight attendants on a layover - definitely ask about their happy hour special. Super nice on a long daytime layover. Also, they had complimentary beverages. I think we enjoyed a couple mimosas. Highly recommend this place. I would come back to Ft Worth just for this nail salon!

When I left the salon, I knew she had hit a few areas, but with the color of my polish, I thought it was left over dye with the cuticle oil. The first time I went here, I had great service, no complaints. That's why I came back. This time, the tech kept nicking my fingers, and saying oh sorry. I do appreciate the job she did, but not the actual pain I am in. Was not worth the money I spent at all! Beware! If I have any medical issues, infection, I will be informing the board and manager of the salon.

I was a regular customer here for 4 years and saw Mai every four weeks. I tipped around 30%, showed…read moreup on time, and had relatively few problems over the years. Unfortunately, my experience changed significantly over the last few months. After I came in with several broken nails, including one that had ripped off, I raised concerns because this was very unusual compared with my previous years of service. My nails were redone, but from that point forward how I was treated changed dramatically. Without warning, my phone number was blocked at the salon for two months. I raised the issue with Susie, the manager. At first I was told there was no block and that the problem might be with my phone. Eventually, another employee acknowledged on 10/3/26 that my number had been placed on a block list and said it had been done accidentally. During this same period, I found Susie's interactions with me increasingly short, dismissive, and at times openly rude. On one visit she raised her voice at me when I declined to soak my hands in a bowl of acetone. For years, Mai had removed my dip by individually wrapping my nails, which was a method I preferred and had consistently received. Suddenly, I was being told I needed to use a different removal method because they were short on time. On my final visit, I decided I was done with dip altogether and had my nails cut down and painted with regular polish. The manicure was completed in less than 45 minutes, and unfortunately the finished polish was visibly uneven and lumpy. What made the entire situation more frustrating was that while I was sitting there, another longtime customer named Suzy came in complaining that her nails had broken and that she was unhappy with the color and length and wanted Mai to correct them. That stood out to me because I had been treated as though my own concerns about broken nails were unreasonable, even though I had experienced very few issues in four years. At checkout, Susie told that Mai no longer wanted to service me. By that point, I had already decided that I would not be returning. I paid for my manicure and left. What disappoints me most is not that the business relationship ended. Businesses and customers can part ways. It is the way it was handled after four years of consistent patronage: the unexplained phone block, denial before the block was eventually acknowledged, repeated unpleasant interactions with management, changes in how my appointments were handled, and ultimately being told at checkout that my longtime technician would no longer service me. I'm moving on to another salon and won't be returning. I'm sharing this because longtime customers should know that if a service problem arises, my experience was that accountability and communication became very difficult very quickly. Below are videos of my attempts to speak with Susie and her responses.

I decided to give it another chance and I loved it (or so I thought). Since I went back I have been recommending it to soooo many people and they've told me of their bad experiences. I'm left here embarrassed because I genuinely loved getting my nails done by Helen. My mom went in today it was packed, she used my phone number to check in gets her nails done don't come out as cute as they usually do. Jason half assed it, and may I add that he was too busy watching his game on his phone. if I'm being honest rushed through the process. She goes up and pays and walks out. Tell me why Jason goes behind my mom and starts following her then the manager I believes walks out too and they start accusing her of walking out and not paying. Until the girl that rung her up finally comes out and tells them that she did pay not even an apology was given WTF. I can't believe I've been recommending this location to everyone, I should have listened to their alarming comments about how they were treated Next time ask your cashier before assuming the worst of people TF go elsewhere unless you want to be accused of stealing and humiliated in a crowed
