My mom and I were going to a different place on E Lancaster but due to the lack of good customer service and burning cuticles, we decided to search elsewhere. Then we landed at this hidden gem. Not only are the people nice but love the great customer service and reasonable prices. I am from Dallas where prices are ridiculously high and the prices at this nail establishment along with the service is definitely worth the price. I love the vibe here... yes, it's on E. Lancaster, but this establishment is different from the rest. They are fully staffed, waiting time is minimal. As soon as we walked in we received our pedicure services followed by nails, then eyebrow waxing. Keep in mind, we walked it at 9:40 AM and became crowded shortly after. Amy did my nails and she made sure I was happy with the services rendered. She even allowed me to decide what shade of nude I wanted for my French Ombre nails. I got a full set french ombre with pixie dust on one nail on each hand (dipping powder), Deluxe Pedicure with gel toes (French tip) and eye brow waxing for $118.00. I recently went in for a gel manicure and waited about 20 mins before I was helped. The NEXT day I realized that the gel was peeling off of my nails. Gel is supposed to last two weeks at least with no chipping. By the third day all the gel on my nails we almost gone. I went back to get them fixed and waited for 20 mins again. Finally a technician was going to help me. I explained that it had only been 3 days since I was last there. She said since she wasn't the one that did them in the first place I would have to pay for the service again! At this point I'm beyond frustrated. I refused to leave without getting my nails done again and without paying. Another lady apologized and did them for me. The service I got was horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. This is a great place if you want a really average pedicure. The technicians will do a basic job and act as though they just saved your life. Be prepared for the polish you get to start chipping seconds after you walk out. Also, don't even think about getting a manicure or full set here. They are inexperienced and don't know how to do even basic things like coffin or almond shaped nails. They do everything with an attitude and trash talk about you (it's pretty easy to get that from their body language even if you don't understand). On top of all the horrible service you receive you'll also be charged an arm and a leg. This place is very expensive for the area it is in. read more

My son & I stopped at Happy Nails on 12/15/18 to get a pedicure and manicure and the service was the worst ever. When we entered the establishment they immediately approached use and asked what we wanted and then they placed us into a pedicure chair with hot water for our feet. We both had our feet soaking in water for over 20 minutes before a technician started the pedicure. The water was cold and they seem to not care about how we felt. The attitudes of the nail technicians was down right disrespectful. There was no communication, no eye contact, and no sense of respect for the customer. I decided to to ahead and get a manicure but my son declined the service due to the results of the pedicure. My technician actually performed my manicure in the pedicure. I have never been given a manicure while still sitting in a pedicure chair. My nail technician actually was going to perform my manicure without water if I hadn't requested it after she cut my nails. The CUSTOMER should never have to instruct the technician on how to perform the job. She actually claimed that the service would be an additional $5 dollars to cut my nails for the manicure. I lost it at that time because I have never heard of some *@#$ like that before. I also informed her that the printed literature stated one price and that would be the price I would pay and no more. Bro so I went to this nail shop on a Tuesday and this Chinese man he's skinny and has a twin that works in that same shop his name is cam ‍ so when I first went I got my nails long and gel polish it was 50 dollars the next day my thumb nail came off !!! I went to repair 1 broken nail. Asked to sit and wait. 45 mins later a woman and preteen walk in the door and were seated before me. I stood up and said, how much longer bc you are seating others before me? They said can you wait? I said more than 45 mins? How much longer. They said 1 more min. I sit back down. I'm called 5 mins later. Sat down and they begin to work on my nail. After applying the nail polish I noticed it was too light. I said I have to grab a darker color. I walked 5 steps away and she put the same mom in my chair, her husband in the next chair and told me to sit 3 chairs down. I said no, and asked the mom to please stand so I could get my nail done. The nail tech said, just go sit down there. I told her, it's 1 nail and you're treating me like a 2nd class citizen by making me wait and move. She paints 1 coat and tells me to move while pushing her hands away. I stood up and walked to dry my nail. Another nail tech came to apply 1 coat of clear polish. 1 other nail tech came to collect my $5. Horrible shop. Poor business practice. To be overlooked and treated poorly... I would never go back. Myself, daughter, my niece and my nieces friend went to "happy nails" for 3 days straight trying to get our nails done together but each day it was a new reason they couldn't (1st day was busy, second we went late but called ahead but still waited 2 hours but then they where closed and not finished with the people they had already waiting, third day was today they finally could after a 30 min wait and stipulations of only one at a time because they didn't have many people working (like 3 techs and 5 older women, some getting pedicures) anyway so my daughter went first because she wanted the $10 manicure which is usually pretty quick so she sat down then the problems immediately started.... the nail technician ask my daughter how long would she like her nails so my daughter said that she would like them naturally short so the nail technician continued putting all the tips on but once done she again said are you sure you don't want them long so I stepped in this time and I said "no she's fine with short nails she plays the piano she doesn't need long nails" so for about three minutes she hesitated cutting the nails and aggressively explaining why I should let her make the nails longer but again I said no ma'am I would really prefer them to be short PLEASE! Immediately the technician started speaking in another language to a male technician who is also in the salon (may be the owner) and the other technician said "we don't need your money she can't do short manicure nail for $10" (in his words)! so I was like but that's the price the book said" I was appalled because she had just clipped my daughters nails and applied fake ones but now because we prefer a short cut nail they are aggressive and refusing us service, ok fine but unprofessional business don't last long anyway so I documented the encounter and left but I was so upset I cried in front of my kids, they where so disappointed with all of that going on and my oldest daughter having to get the nails removed after being excited but also for my niece spending two hours of her off day sitting in a salon until closing and not getting service then being asked to return the next day for the exact same outcome...horrible greedy people (I don't judge based on opinion) we obviously will not visit "happy nails" again because they where awful to us continually and because I could hear how they where speaking to some of the other women there spoke volumes about their true character but omg here's the crazy part each day we went there was a different customer mad and yelling (not to be racist but it was literally different races of women totally livid in there) anyway I really felt like not going back but it was our thing we wanted to do together and it was convenient but hey "never going back you can't make me" This is a honest review! read more

The banner in front of the establishment says they will give you a 20% discount for a service of $20 & up due to there GRAND OPENING. But in the end of my service the employee named Lynn refused to give me the 20% discount. She started arguing with me but yet had no good explanation as to why she could not give me my 20% discount, if my total added up to $68 before the discount. I had to refused to pay until she applied the discount to the total. And on top of that prior to the service when I asked about the tools being sterilized for my pedicure, the employees had confused faces, as if they didn't understand what sterilize meant. Which only tells me that they do not sterilize anything. With the exception of the young lady that gave my daughter gel nail mani, she was very nice and sweet to my 4 year old. First time going there and it was pretty bad. I went to get a deluxe pedicure which includes scrub,wax,massage and hot towels and all the cleaning of the nails and filing and callus removal . So basically me pedicures lasted less than 5 min. An older lady did it for me she didn't speak English and I could tell she was getting frustrated because I kept telling her I wasn't happy with the job she was doing, she didn't did proper cuticle removal or cleaning around my nails and also for the callus she scraped my foot once and then went ahead and buff which wasn't even good either because my foot still feels rough on the bottom. And also for the scrub she just placed it on top of my foot didn't even scrubbed and put my foot back in the water which may I also say it was hot. She burned my feet like twice. I was very disappointed with the service. I will never go back in there. Don't waste your money. The price is high for shity service. 0 stars if I could. and I'm looking at my nails right now and I see it wasn't cleaned properly and it looks like shit.
