Service Requested - Well, it's a car wash. There are many tiers of wash which is a little confusing because I just want "clean." You can go through multiple times as is the case with all of these drive-thru car washes these days. Quality - If you do it enough, it gets there. Previously mentioned, one can select levels of cleanliness. They chose the scale of SPF, so you can choose from 10 to 50. It's an auto-wash so it'll never be as good as a hand wash. But, it's an auto-wash so you can do it over and over. Value - You don't think one pass is enough? Go through again! And again, etc. It works out just fine but it's not a mega-chain car wash so this is the only location. Pretty sure. They enjoy giving my dog a treat. It's a sizeable one so she takes it to a chair and makes a mess. And that's a good reason to have vacuums in the stalls after. It's a gigantic central vacuum so you just take the extension. They also have towels and glass cleaner. Down the street from the South Davis place so it's mighty convenient if going to Sac. Or not. read more

Best automatic car wash I've ever been to. The washing method is thorough, even does a good job on the wheels and tires. Rinsing is good and blow drying does a very job of drying. In the finishing area, the vacuums are very strong and the free drying towels and spray cleaner are good for finishing the job. A molding strip on the roof of my Tacoma pickup broke loose and came off during the washing process. When I told this to a person who I think was the manager (Kevin), he ordered a new molding strip at no cost to me and he installed it for me. That's great service! Stopped by for a quick wash on a Saturday morning. The place was pretty busy, but the workers were friendly and did not push too hard for me to get the subscription. I got the lowest level of wash just to get the grime off my windows. It got most of the grime off, but a couple of the more stubborn bird droppings needed a little extra care. They offer towels and spray bottles for those situations, which is nice. I was also able to clean under my hood with the provided vacuums. Though it was a little pricier than I would prefer, the amenities involved make Sunny's a pretty good value for your time and money. I bought the pass so I can use the car wash on a regular basis. This is a quick and easy car wash to use. The staff is always friendly and offer a dash wipe. They do a good job keeping the cars moving. They have vacuums, air blowers to dry off car or to blow out crumbs inside the car. I feel like the monthly service is a good deal and will continue to use this car wash. read more

Personally I like this place better than a Quick Quack. They are open bright and early during the week, free vacuums, all purpose cleaner and cloths available as well. The staff is always friendly. The price is reasonable, probably what I pay at other places in Woodland. It's nice having a car wash near home now. The car needed a to be washed bad, it came out really clean compared to before. I will be coming here at least monthly during the winter months. I usually wash the car way more in the summer. read more

DO NOT COME HERE I went to get a car wash, and as I was coming out and driving toward their vacuums, I noticed outside my window that the weather strip on top of my car had come off and was slinging everywhere, barely attached to my car. I parked by the vacuums, checked it out, and called someone over. They had me fill out paperwork, took pictures of the damage and of my license plate, and said they would email or call me within a week. They never did. I waited a couple of weeks and called them. The first few times, they wouldn't even answer. When they finally did weeks later, they didn't even know what I was talking about and had to call their manager over. She wrote my information down AGAIN, which means they most likely threw away the first report. She said she would call back soon. She never did. We called them every week for months, and they kept making excuses like "we don't know yet" or "we're waiting to hear back." It has now been 7 months, and I'm going to have to replace it myself, something that was THEIR fault. They clearly don't care if their car wash damages your car and will keep ignoring you. Couldn't wait for the Sunny's to open in Davis! I live close by and had been using a subscription car wash with locations only in Sac so when a new car wash opened up, I had to check it out. I think the quality of the wash is comparatively a lot better than other automatic washes. The membership seems steep at first, but if you go frequently enough, even once a week, it makes it worth it. The vacuums are always high suction and the vacuum area is always clean and tidy. This automated carwash seems to run flawlessly after a full year or more of operation. I always spend about two or three minutes before going through the wash with a sponge and spray bottle of liquid dish detergent to loosen up the baked on bugs because I pay for the wax and don't want to wax over the bugs. The car comes out perfect. I also see staff members rotating around between the reception station and the vacuum area keeping an eye on the equipment. Okay first of all, everyone here is so nice. Like smiling and helpful and welcoming. Second of all, it is easy to just roll in for a car wash and vacuum and be on your way. Side note: I lost a tiny piece of my car in the wash (totally my fault - the piece was already falling off and I was too lazy to wash the car myself.) I went back and asked them if it had turned up. The staff member stopped everything she was doing, went into the car wash herself and waded through the troughs looking for it. She took my phone number and photographed where it came from so she knew what to look for. It's a solid place. read more

Sunny's is great. Very convenient and good quality very worth the money. You have a choice of single wash or getting a monthly subscription. Both include amenities that are worth the extra dollar. Literally it's only like 1 dollar more than the average gas station car wash. read more

THE BEST CAR WASH EVER!! Sunny's has something going on that beats every gas stations whimpy no good car washes and other professional car washes we've been to. Sorry to say but they do. Most of the employees have been great and awesome. Our big dog loves the staff too! We love them soo much we have monthly packages for both our vehicles. At the end of the cleaning carousel you can quickly pull into your station to vacuum out your car with high powered suction long hoses and there's another hose to shoot high powered air to get crumbs out of tight spots. They also give you a dash and side panel wipe. Anyways, hands down the best wash my car gets. Trust me, your car will look brand new after Sunny's gets done with! We'll never go anywhere else! I tried your car Sunny's car wash for the first time Saturday morning! A really nice young man, probably college student, sandy blonde hair.... Didn't catch his name. I was there at 7:30 am. So hopefully whomever he was he gets his due kudos. I felt really old and dumb but he didn't make me feel that way in fact he welcomed me to Davis! When I left, I went to work and realized at work that the cover for my passenger side view mirror was off! I was so sad and took a chance on it having come off at the car wash. Honestly, I work about 30 minutes away so I wasn't sure if it was on the side of a freeway. When I called the lovely assistant manger Jill answered and she told me they would look for it. But no matter what she would call back and let me know if she did it didn't find it. By a miracle it was there!!! Unfortunately, I got back from work after they closed so I went back today about 7:15 pm and was greeted by a lovely lady named Sophia! She was awesome!!!!! Not only did she compliment my dress, she walked me to my car and put the cover on for me! She was sooooo thoughtful! When you're old and naive about the ways of the world it's so nice when the younger ones make you feel less ignorant ha ha. I like how quick and easy it is to go through and bought the base membership/subscription for $19.99/mo. But after the first month, they decided to upgrade me to the top membership without my knowledge, and had been charging $32.99/mo. This was very slimy of them, so make sure you check your bank charges frequently. read more

I went to Sunny's after reading their great reviews. As soon as I drove up (upon their opening) Joseph came out to introduce himself and helped me on how to use the Kiosk and car wash choices. As a first time customer I greatly appreciated the complimentary Car Wash as an introduction. My car was dirty after a 9 hour drive from Southern CA. This car wash is well maintained. The employees are friendly and helpful. If something is wrong or broken, it's fixed right away. The only drawback is that the vacuums are sometimes turned off in winter if it's raining or overcast because the business runs on solar energy. So, if there isn't enough sun, there's not enough energy for the vacuums. read more

Sunny's is a new car wash in town that replaced the empty lot across the street from the south Davis Nugget (next door to 711). I'm not going to lie, I was very skeptical of the ability of a machine to wash my car, especially at the price point. Thankfully when they opened they offered a free spf 50 wash (their highest level wash). I think I still see a free wash offered in ads on Facebook (5/23/24). After my first go my mind was changed. This wash did an excellent job on my CRV and my Odyssey. My wife and I signed up for the unlimited spf 50 right away and have been back at least once a week since they opened. In fact just the other day I got caught behind a horse trailer on 80, coming back into town, and the spray was getting all over my car (and everyone else in adjacent lanes). I hope they had a membership to Sunny's like I do, because I just hopped off the freeway and got my car washed. Before Sunny's I would have been very agitated to have to wash horse juices off my car. Let me also say that the wash is surprisingly quick too. During their free wash promotion the line was about 10 cars deep when I went, and I was still in and out in probably around 10 to 15 minutes. They also offer a dog wash for spf 50 members, but the main side perk of Sunny's is their vacuums (they're free for all members). They suck in the way you want your vacuums to suck and they are not obnoxiously loud either (which I didn't think I cared about until I didn't have to hear them). They also have a blower feature too which is handy. Oh, and their customer service at the car wash entry is always super friendly. I highly recommend Sunny's. read more

From the smiling faces that greet you as you pull through the service lanes to get checked in whether you are a monthly subscriber like myself, which I have all four of my vehicles on a monthly subscription for full service washes as many times as I like. Or you're just going through as a one time Pay as you go customer they offer you dash wipes for cleaning the interior of your car and the car wash itself does an amazing job for an automated car wash. I don't think I've ever had a better car wash experience with an automated service and then you get the ability to use their vacuums which are clean and the hoses work. They have crevice tools, and the other tools that you need to clean your car plus they have Compressed air at each vacuum station, which allows you to blow the dust out of your vents and out of small crevices, it's just another great touch that they provide. There's also a dog wash if you want to bring your dog there in the summertime and wash your dog, which is a very unique addition to a car wash so I wholeheartedly recommend that you not only use the car wash but that you get on a monthly subscription service because nothing feels as good as a nice clean vehicle when you get in it!! read more

I took my very dirty car for a long-overdue wash. My neighbor had recommended Sunny's. The first great experience was the staff. Angel was so welcoming and helpful. The staff made it pleasant and efficient, routing the cars on a busy Sunday. The second great thing was the wash itself. It was fun to go through! The third great thing is the large bank of vacuums that are included in wash. Sunny's is a little pricier that standard car washes but it's worth it, and I'll take advantage of their unlimited washes monthly offer next time I go. read more

So when I saw this place going up I questioned how it would ever survive. It seemed like some kind of corporate out of town type deal. Well I bought in and have been pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, nice using their vacuum stations after the wash. Most recently I had the opportunity to deal with the owner/manager. Guess what, he happens to be an energetic young guy raised and currently living in Davis! He has a major customer service orientation that is evident in both the way he handles clients as well the way he treats his staff. West Davis is currently a dust bowl between harvests and Bretton Woods construction. Folks, do what I did, signed on to their program and hit the place at least three times a week. I came in for a wash because my car was covered in tree sap, Justin was helping me out and explained to me all the different washes and how to enroll in loyalty. Justin also let me know that if the tree sap wasn't off my car, I could keep going in for a free of charge wash until all the tree sap was off my car. I had my car washed at Sunny's car wash in Davis. I had a free wash and thought I'd give it a try. The car came out with bird poop on the window. I called it to the attention of a worker. He sprayed windex on it and it came right off. The car wasn't spotless and he told me I could go around again which I did. The coupon I had was for $25. I'm sticking with cable car was. Super expensive. If you get the cheapest, just the wash and dry, you really just get the wash which is hardly anything and the dry is about five seconds; the car is still quite wet. And mostly you're paying their electric bill, they never turn the lights off. I live next door and the lights are on all night. I've asked three times for them to turn them off at night to no avail; shine very brightly into my home all night. they are terrible neighbors. last time i was there they were in such a rush to get us through the wash that they sent us in with just a few feet behind each other despite not being busy at all and then when someone put on their breaks because they wanted more than 5 seconds of drying time all the cars hit each other. they offered me a free wash... when you get unlimited washes a month. yeah will never get another month with them. when they asked about building this thing years ago i thought it was going to be in a different lot, wish i had looked closer. i would have voted no. have yet to see them be even a little busy. the staff outside is nice enough but washes and their electric bill is not worth my money, nor risk of car damage. they sure didnt keep that person around before i had a chance to check for damages. read more
