I went in because the top of my foot has been numb (near big toe) I also have a bunion and an injury I received years ago that looks like a bruised vein at all times and if I even slightly bump it, it swells. I explained all of this to the nurse, and when I started explaining to the Dr he was not interested and actually said "what do you expect to accomplish here?" Hmm let's see, if the top of my foot I numb, that is not normal. I am a pretty active person, so to be it's a little unsettling. But apparently, I wasted his time and he wasted my money! Then we moved and we just took her to a new doctor and she was diagnosed with significant Scoliosis that she should have been seeing a specialist for. Now because she is older it may not be treatable and she may likely end up needing surgery. Literally her new doctor told her to bend forward and identified it right away. Without even touching her! Yet Sunshine Peds completely missed it her entire childhood??? Go somewhere else. These doctors are about profit not people. They made me question my own sanity with the UTI and by that time we were moving so we didn't try to find a new doc.
