Today is my 2 week followup on 6/2/23, with new X-ray to see if it's healing properly. Dr. Torke is a no nonsense, shoot from the hip type of guy, which is fine by me. I like to know the facts, what to do to heal, and be on my way. If I have questions, Dr. Torke is thorough with the answers - or finding answers. So far, I've been satisfied with my treatment in the past and now. The office staff is pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. If I have questions, they answer then or find someone with the answers.

I also had so many things going on that made my illness a bit complicated. Dr. Moreno immediately began with my back to rule out a fracture. Then he assured me that he will do his utmost best to help me with my pain management. I am looking forward to my visit with him in his office next week to begin what I hope will be experiencing a whole new painless if not pain free life. We waited months for this appointment, only to leave disheartened and confused. Dr. Moreno was abrupt, rude, condescending, dismissive, and clearly had not reviewed my MRI report. At one point, he begrudgingly flashed the MRI on the screen for mere seconds -- not to explain, but to silence questions he seemed offended by. His "treatment plan" felt rushed, based on snap judgment, and ignored key findings; his ego seemingly given more weight than thorough clinical review. My wife left in tears, and I left still in pain with incomplete answers. Medicine is not just about knowledge; it's about listening, synthesizing, and caring enough to explore the full scope of a patient's symptoms. On that front, Dr. Moreno failed spectacularly.

So far, 4 weeks have transpired since my office visit when the Dr requested I go get an MRI for a suspected torn meniscus. 4 weeks of pain all to find out they apparently don't plan to do anything. They won't return multiple calls and voice mails or multiple emails. No reply at all. I have switched doctors. There are just too many other very qualified and highly recommended Ortho Drs in this area......this guy and his office are a joke. Totally unprofessional and incompetent.

my husband had a back injury that required surgery, but he needed steriod injections to reduce the…read moreswelling of the nerves in lower back. i was told he could be seen as early as monday since he has been in severe pain for 4 weeks. i gave them my insurance and provided all the medical records. i was supposed to receive an appointment. two days later they tell us they don't take our insurance. i called my insurance and they accept 90% of the treatment with a 10% copayment. clearly these people don't know what they are doing. i have informed the referring physcian to not refer patients in severe acute pain, as this place doesn't have patient care in mind.
