The approach felt overly aggressive rather than careful. I experienced significant sedation and had a fall during the night. When I contacted the doctor afterward because I felt worse, I was told that my "body is sensitive," which felt more like an excuse than a thoughtful explanation. I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice. Clear communication, careful pacing, and individualized care are essential, and that was missing here.

His schedule is really a direct reflection of how good of a doctor he is. As with any good doctor, it typically takes a month or two in order to get an appointment. Dr. Singh has everything a great psychiatrist should have: compassion, understanding, and empathy. He listens to you and genuinely cares about each and every one of his patients. I know because I am one of them and I see the looks on others patients' faces when they come out of his office. I now drive 45 minutes from St. Pete just to see him and wouldn't have it any other way. That being said, be patient and wait for an appointment. You'll be glad you did.

Dr…read more Kaplan is a excellent communicator and very knowledgeable and experienced in many different mental health conditions and illnesses. He also is very considerate with your time and frankly wants everything covered in the most efficient amount of time during your consult so he can go and help/listen to/ and treat his next patient. I have been his patient for over a decade and have never had a complaint or any negative experience with him. It has only been a positive experience in every single consultation. Lastly I have to say this: he does not want to 'pump' his patients with drugs( as I see is posted in one of these previous reviews) and he does not push anything on anyone in any regard. Highly reccommended. He will take care of you and he has your best interest at heart.

I had over 20 yrs of therapy for mental illness (schizophrenia, ADHD n nervous anxiety) which before Miss Sara I would have been to embarrassed to even admit to this board I was diagnosed and treated for for over 20 years now. Before Miss Sara I always walked in with my head down low, no hope my concerns or issues would be taken seriously and not just "in my mind" labels can be so damaging. But she took WELL OVER THE HOUR I had an appointment for to REALLY UNDERSTAND me and hear my concerns. She let me play a HUGE part in what medications and route we would take. After I got home she text me with a number I can reach her at if I need help and can't get office and for her to send me resource information as she found programs in the community that would benefit me or that might be helpful. She CARES FOR ALL HER PATIENTS! The prices were more then fair and they take many insurances. In my ENTIRE HISTORY dealing with this illness I have never walked out of a physiatrist office feeling so hopeful and proud of myself and my future. She gave me hope, help, compassion, encouragement and so many wonderful feelings. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I promise give it ONE VISIT and you won't leave her office feeling "crazy" u will leave feeling like a fighter, with a AMAZING TEAM in your corner! After meeting her I have decided to STOP hiding my condition and start helping others like Miss Sara helped me. Thank you SO VERY VERY MUCH!

Their patience is truly remarkable, and they showed genuine concern, compassion, and consideration during an incredibly difficult time. As the frontline of the practice, they hold the line with such grace and professionalism. I'd give him less than 1 star if this system had such an option. This guy (not worthy of being called a doctor) only seemed to care about making money. Decision had already been made BEFORE I started TMS therapy to close his practice's only location that would work for me (I'm a solo mom of four children after losing my husband unexpectedly 7 years ago). I asked him directly about this at initial consult, because the intake specialist had warned me. He refused to look at me while responding that he "didn't know." Then, two-thirds through my treatment, he had a temporary employee tell me I'd need to switch another location, completely negating any benefit of his treatments to that point.
