The approach felt overly aggressive rather than careful. I experienced significant sedation and had a fall during the night. When I contacted the doctor afterward because I felt worse, I was told that my "body is sensitive," which felt more like an excuse than a thoughtful explanation. I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice. Clear communication, careful pacing, and individualized care are essential, and that was missing here.

She over charged me for sessions where all she did was talk about her issues or made excuses for her mistakes. She screwed up prescriptions and blamed me for it while refusing to fix her errors or respond to the pharmacies inquiries. She got me banned from several pharmacies for writing a prescription for a medication I wasn't on and didn't ask for, and sent the same prescription to the wrong pharmacy 6 times causing CVS to refuse me. She also refused to contact any pharmacy to answer questions about her prescriptions. She charged me for 4 sessions to change the same medication that no longer worked but refusal to confirm with the pharmacy led to being untreated resulting in the loss of my job, and many life consequences that she didn't care about. She the medically abandoned me twice once for passing drug tests she was trying to use to justify me being abused and the second for blaming me for her mistakes and her failure to follow her own policies. She changed the doses of my medication when I first saw her without my knowledge or consent resulting in me dropping out of medical school. She plays favorites and will not be there for you when you need it. I trusted her and almost lost my life several times for it to be medically abandoned. I used her for 7 years and paid $140,000 and all I have is record of her own life problems and no chance to find treatment. Hopefully you are someone she likes because she will neglect you otherwise

IF YOU WANT TO BETTER YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, DO NOT GO HERE!…read more While Spravato doesn't affect me (nor has it helped me either), each week when I have my Spravato session, I drive my car to my appointment and have someone pick me up afterwards, leaving my car overnight. At my last session, I found out halfway through the session that my ride wasn't going to be able to come get me. I live close, but not close enough to walk. But since Spravato never affects me, I drove myself home cause I didn't have a way otherwise. I recently called several times to set up my next appointment and no one ever answered so I left voicemails. The next day I get a call from JENNY, who ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS. She is rude, inconsiderate and made me feel like I was beneath her and like I DO NOT MATTER as a person. Anyway, She called to tell me that she was discharging me as a patient, WITHOUT WARNING, for driving after my last Spravato appointment. I explained to her that my ride bailed while I was already in my session and that I've driven before yet no one has EVER said one word to me about it. And that this was the first I'd ever heard of being discharged for driving.. there is no warning of discharge ANYWHERE in the intake paperwork nor is it listed in the documents you have to fill out at the beginning of each Spravato session. I explained all this to her and SHE COULD CARE LESS. She blamed the techs and doctor at the citrus park location saying that "someone should have gone over this with me at my intake appointment". But.. NO ONE DID!! So how is THAT MY FAULT???? What's more, Over the last 4 months, I've been more depressed than I've been in years (also proof that Spravato doesn't work) and with how small Jenny made me feel, how she treated me.. it's thrown me into a downward spiral in a way I haven't felt in many years cause I told Jenny about my rapidly worsening mental state, and practically begged her to allow me to stay on as patient but she could care less. I haven't spoken to to a person so cold hearted in a long time. And her attitude and lack of compassion told me everything I needed to know about this place: that I don't matter and the folks at Neurospa give zero craps about the lives of their patients.. they claim to be in the business of mental health... but with MY experience, I can PROMISE you that the only thing this business cares about is making money. Jenny really pushed me over the edge emotionally. And I'm so much worse now than I was before speaking to her. SHAME ON YOU JENNY! SHAME ON TOU FOR BLAMING THE EMPLOYEES AND DOCTORS AT THE CITRUS PARK LOCATION! YOU SHOULDN'T BE IN THE MENTAL HEALTH INDUSTRY. PEOPLE COME TO NEUROSPA FOR HELP BECAUSE THEY ARE HURTING! AND THE WAY YOU HURTFULLY SPEAK TO OTHERS LIKE THEY DON'T MATTER IS NOT OK! So...my mental health is now worse than it ever was prior to becoming a patient here a year ago! This business is such an awful, horrible place. IF YOU ARE SEEKING HELP FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, DO NOT COME HERE! Go literally ANYWHERE else but here!

This is the best Mental Health Care clinic I have been to in the Greater Tampa Area. This clinic…read morehas it all: thoughtful and compassionate technicians, Bryce and Belue, an awesome and extremely patient care coordinator, Jenny, a sweet and understanding nurse, Elizabeth, and a really cool and professional medical director, Dr. Obregon! I've done it all at NeuroSpa: TMS, Spravato, and IV Ketamine. TMS didn't do much for me so I "graduated" to Spravato LOL and I do maintenance IV Ketamine every month or so. TMS is a great tool for anyone that is unresponsive to the traditional first-line treatment to depression (SSRIs, SNRIs, etc.). TMS works very well for the people that respond well to it, I wasn't one of those people, but you very well can be. It has great outcomes, I was just one of the very few unlucky ones... Luckily, NeuroSpa has other options and that's where I excel at :) Spravato is just like your any other nose sprays. I don't really know how it works but it that has one or the other molecules of the ketamine molecules, but give Jenny a call and she'll explain it to you! Spravato works wonders, the only thing I can say is that it tastes bad...but don't worry they have candies and chocolates and snacks that help with the taste LOL. You just sit in the room for about 2 hours and get an iPad and an eye mask and jam out to your favorite music or to curated, relaxing Ketamine playlists that mellow you out to relax, meditate, or even take a nap. Ketamine is something NeuroSpa recently just added to their mental health care repertoire. It is like Spravato, but different, idk just ask Jenny :) I only have done it twice and it gives me that extra kick in my butt I need to feel great and carry on throughout my weeks. Instead of being in a nasal spray form, its through the needle in your arm, so a little different but pretty much the same. This is a game changer, if you're doing Spravato and feel like you get "stuck" at a certain emotion level, the IV ketamine will definitely give you that extra zap you need to get out of that emotional rut. Neurospa lays everything out in front of you on Day 1. Due to the nature of Spravato and Ketamine you're not able to drive yourself home from treatment, which is probably the most standard protocol at any Ketamine clinic in the US... They even help you with coordinating transport, albeit with a loved one, friend, or even getting you a rideshare service, on those days where everyone else is busy and you can't find a ride LOL. I mean you get pretty disoriented, so why would anyone ever think it's okay to drive after a mind-altering drug treatment! To say that NeuroSpa takes care of you really is an understatement, they do it all and more! They make sure you have everything you need before, during, and after your treatments. They do talk therapy and manage your medication for you! No one can compete with their team and their focus, passion, patience, openness, and so many other great qualities. NeuroSpa is the best place you can go to in Tampa to help with ALL of your depression needs! NeuroSpa has improved my life one thousand times over! I wouldn't be the happy person I am today without them. I hope that whoever needs that one review to read to take the first step in making a difference in their mental health and going to NeuroSpa (the one in Citrus Park)! :)

He is an extremely patient, understanding, caring individual I've had the pleasure of knowing. It is very challenging, yet their office has not only expanded but improved therapeutic modalities, treatment options, as well as remaining open to communication where office staff will address your concern immediately. I have seen Dr. DeVine since the age of 6. He has always had my back, he is family at this point, and one of the best psychiatrists, I know of. He puts the emphasis on the patient and humbly meets them where they're at. He has always gone above and beyond, and I'm confident the quality of his practice will remain exceptional in the years to come. I also am driving hours away just to stay onboard because he is worth the drive or flight. That should tell you something!
