This is the worst location ever! They are always running late when opening and the customer service sucks.

I didn't know what exactly to do. I had just bought some new shades in June this year and one of the pieces had fallen off into who knows where. I went in the store and they helped me order the piece that was missing. I was a bit irritated that I would have to go back to the store to pick up the piece but luckily I had to! The piece was the piece missing but it wouldn't connect. Mark was the one helping me out with the piece and he couldn't figure out how to make it stay. Since my glasses were still under warranty he said he would process it. Mark was a great help and definitely helped me. I appreciate all the help because these glasses were a pretty penny! There are glasses of all different prices so that's great for those with budget expenses. read more

Glass hut I recommend them they not only sell sunglasses but also have a glass cleaning solution to clean your glasses and sunglasses. Once purchased you can return to the store and get the empty container refilled and the solution does a great job cleaning the lenses no not streaking the lenses. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I ordered glasses online to pick up at this location since they weren't available for shipping. I go to pick them up and they stated it was not in the system even though I had the proof on my email. It said I had until the end of the day (store closes at 8pm) to pick them up. I came at 5:15 and the person working there called their manager and told me they couldn't do anything but to call the support line. They were already closed when I tried calling so I had to call the next day. When I spoke to the online support they stated my glasses were in the system and ready to be picked up. I called the store ahead to make sure before I waste my time driving back there. They said they were NOT in the system still and that they would call customer support their selves. They did and called me back and said my order was cancelled. I'm now waiting for my refund and will buy these elsewhere. The person working at the desk was nice but their manager should have done a better job at fixing this. All I got was an email for 30% off my next purchase which is ridiculous. read more

I came in with a repair to sunglasses previously bought at this location. There was one other customer in the store that a man was helping and a woman employee was simply standing at the counter. After waiting for her to notice me, she didn't address me at all so I just started talking and said I had a repair. She said the man would help me as soon as he was done with the other customer and took the glasses from me. While we both stood there I said I wondered if they could clean the sunglasses I was currently wearing and she snapped "I'm only one person!" I was taken aback. Sadly I would've liked to look at other sunglasses to potentially purchase another pair but at that, I changed my mind and decided I don't really want to buy anything from there. The man ended up fixing my glasses once he was done with the other customer and he was really kind and polite. It's just too bad he wasn't the one to help me first. That lady really needs to learn better customer service. read more

Sasha was the best!! I had gone to Sunglass Hut a few months ago and purchased a pair of sunglasses that were too big for me. I had them tightened but to my disappointment, a few days later I realized they were super crooked!! I didn't wear my new glasses for months. Fast forward 3 months later - I went in to the same Sunglass Hut and asked the employees to fix them. Sasha was awesome and I was able to straighten and tighten my glasses. Thanks Sasha!!! read more

I want to start off by acknowledging how clean, well stocked and nice this store looks. I've been to quite a few stores and things always seem to be out of place and disorganized. I have bought glasses here a few times and the staff is always so kind. My recent experience was with the manager named Michelle. She was so patient and knowledgeable. I couldn't make my mind up and dealing with her was like talking to the owner. You can tell she loves that store like it's her own. I saw people coming and going and I was impressed by her professionalism. A few customers were rude to her and she handled them like a professional. I can't imagine how she deals with all that all while smiling and giving great service. One of the main reasons I come to this shop is for her. Sunglass Hut, you need to use this store as a model of what other shops should be like. It's nice having a clean store with an attentive manager. Sunglasses are almost useless to me since I'm always wearing my prescription glasses. The need to see is more important that blocking out the sun in my case. My husband, on the other hand, has 20/20 vision (must be nice) and decided he needed a new pair of sunglasses. Next stop, Sunglass Hut! The location at Downtown Summerlin is actually the closest to us. The store is next to the North Parking garage, on the corner by Guess and the soon to open Banana Republic. The young saleswoman who greeted us and helped us find the perfect pair of shades was amazing! She was super nice and friendly. It didn't hurt that we were the only ones in the store. :) The store was of course, impeccable. The glasses came with a cool brand name hard case and a microfiber branded bag. This business is a prime example as to why online business is killing retail. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with my wife looking for a specific pair of sunglasses. I previously saw online that there was a promotion but instead of buying them on the website, I wanted to go into the store to see how they fit. The sales staff was nice and the salesman (Charles?) even offered to adjust the glasses for a better fit. Then I ask about the discount, which was not what was being offered online. When I explained that I was getting a better deal on the website I was quickly shut down and told that they would end up charging me more somehow and that it happens all the time. I purchased the glasses but decided to look online just because I had a bad feeling about what I was being told. Sure enough, the same glasses I had bought were $45 less on the Sunglass Hut website! Why mislead me? Is a commission worth losing a customers trust? I returned to the store 2 days later to return my overpriced glasses. A different salesperson took my return and when he asked for a reason I explained that I purchased them cheaper on the Sunglass Hut website. He then tries to explain multiple times to me that I might have bought fake sunglasses. How did I buy fake sunglasses on your own website?? Does Sunglass Hut sell fake sunglasses? On December 24th, my husband purchased a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses from this Sunglass Hut location as a surprise holiday gift for me. I exchanged these glasses at the Meadows Lane, Las Vegas location on January 4, 2020, and taking advantage of the "Buy one, get second pair at 1/2 price" promotion, I ended up with a pair of Maui Jims and a pair of Ray-Bans. As I had a bit of a cold, and did not want to be inconsiderate and try on a bunch of different glasses, I once again made sure to confirm that any exchange or return would be very simple. I decided to exchange the glasses that I had purchased in such a rush, and I visited this location, at which my husband made the original purchase. As a briefly looked around, a young man named Robert, speaking to my back, asked if I needed assistance. I stated that I would like to take a few minutes to browse, and instead of allowing me to do so, he aggressively asked me what I had in the Sunglass Hut bag that I was holding. When I told him that I had an exchange, he stated that I should let him get started to make sure that I was eligible for an exchange. When I asked why I wouldn't be, that the glasses were just purchased and that I had the receipt, he stated something about systems being changed over... that they could no longer take everything back... I still assumed that all would be fine; I had the receipt, the purchase was only a few days earlier, the glasses were not worn, I had the eyeglass cases. I felt comfortable that this would be an easily remedied situation. Then, Robert tells me that they cannot take back Maui Jim sunglasses. When I stated that I was never told such a thing, nor was my husband, and that I had in fact already exchanged the original Maui Jims at the other store, Robert replied, "We're not allowed to take them back. They should be fired." When I again ask why I was not told of this policy- I never would have purchased these glasses and expected him to honor the return policy as stated on the receipt- Robert said, (and this is an EXACT quote), "You're not worth my job." I said that I understood the point that he was trying to make, but that he was being rude, and that there was a better way to explain his position, to which he then replied, "I'm not gonna lose my job for you." Telling me that I have to mail the glasses back to Maui Jim, and that I should go to Macys' to get a return box because Sunglass Hut is out of these boxes, he dismissed me. As I couldn't believe that he actually expected me to go to Macy's for a return box, I asked for clarification, and yes, that is exactly what he told me to do. Although I was pretty annoyed, I remained calm and asked for the e-mail address and phone number of the corporate office, which he didn't have or wouldn't give me. I then stated that I would like to return the Ray-Bans. He asked for my e-mail address, and then told me that I am not in the system, that he could not return those, either. When I questioned him, reminding him that I have the receipt and that the last salesperson did take all of my information, he repeated that he couldn't pull up my information in the computer, and he once again refused to take back either pair of glasses. I immediately wrote an email to their customer care line, and received a call the next day from Regional Manager Mimi. She was apologetic and professional, and assured me that she would speak to the store manager, Michelle, about my experience. (According to Mimi, Robert was completely wrong about EVERYTHING he said.) She then gave me Michelle's hours and told me to please go back in and work directly with Michelle. I said that I would do so, and I then received a call from Michelle indicating that she would not be in when I had planned to visit, that she had to leave early, and that I should come in on Thursday or Friday between 9:30a and 5:30p. I indicated that I would come in on Thursday, but that I was hoping to have Robert present, that I wanted him to be accountable for his actions. Can't say that Michelle gave me a lot of confidence that she was going to address this absolutely horrendous service- she actually said that she would ask him what happened, and the way she said it made me think that she was doubting my word- but I said that I would be in to speak with her in person. Well... I went in yesterday, and no Michelle! She called in sick. Another example of poor service; you tell me to come in and speak to you... and you aren't there. Not even a phone call. Mimi wasn't at all apologetic that her manager stood me up, which surprised me. Luckily, assistant manager Faith was in and she was excellent. Her pleasant demeanor is the only reason that this store is not receiving one star! Nice selection, but high prices and lousy service. Don't bother. read more

The staff in the store is amazing! Amongst all of this COVID-19 they are remaining professional. The glasses are impeccable they are cleaning them after every single person touches them. They are dealing with unruly nasty customers unwilling to wait their turn outside because they are only allowed four people in the store.While still maintaining their professionalism. Once inside they are very knowledgeable and assisted Me in getting two pair of amazing glasses. I could've ordered them online as their online sale is a little different but I prefer the customer service and the perfect fit. It was very disheartening to me how rude some people can be to the retail people they are trying their hardest to help everyone. People need to be more kind. read more

First of all, this is not to knock this particular store I did my purchase in, the help I received there was top notch....this is to complain about the "Sun Glass Hut" company in general, and a ridiculous policy of theirs. I purchased a pair of sunglasses and went back a week later to exchange them for a different brand, only to find this second pair was not gonna work for me either. This is in the space of 2 weeks. When I went back to return this second pair for a refund, for some strange reason, the sun glass hut system would not allow the associate to give me my refund. The store manager informed me that the company will have to issue me a paper check, which I will receive in the mail in....ya ready?....6-8 weeks!! How unacceptable is this!!?? I called the company, which yielded me the same results. So I have to pay interest for 2 months on the credit card I used for the purchase??, because you guys can't get a refund to me any sooner than 6-8 weeks!!?? Utter nonsense!! I purchased two pairs of Tom Ford sunglasses about two weeks ago for my mom'a birthday. Today I came in to return them as they did not properly fit my mom and she found another style she liked better. Both pairs were only tried on and never worn . Immediately upon my entrance into the store the junior sales associate did not greet me and tersely asked what I wanted. When I told her my reason for visit she immediately called over the manager and both of them began to roughly clean both pairs of sunglasses as if I damaged them in some way. I stress again the sunglasses were never worn and only tried on. After cleaning the sunglasses for 5 min the manager stated that she is unable to take one pair back because of a large scratch on the lens. As much as she tried to imagine a scratch none is to be found on the lens. I have looked over and over and there is not even a whiff of a scratch. The manager simply did not want to take a return and treated me with disdain and suspicion. The sales associate was quite rude and told me that they do not sell scratched sunglasses when the sunglasses they sold me were a display. I was treated rudely, accused of damaging the purchase and called a liar. As a physician in this community I hardly need to be suspected of ulterior motives when returning poorly fitting sunglasses. I will NEVER return to this store and I hope the manager receives proper training from the company about how to recognize and how to treat high paying customers. For anyone considering buying anything at these stores take pictures of your sunglasses when buying them so the sales associates can't lie to you later and accuse you of damaging them in order to avoid a return. read more
