I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!

The day of the appointment we entered and the eye glass staff members were having very loud personal conversations for all to hear. This created an unprofessional environment and a poor first impression of the facility. As we went back the eye staff member was not friendly, didn't smile once, was not friendly/warm towards my child, did not seem happy to be there, and seemed annoyed anytime I asked questions about tests that they wanted to run. We were then led to a patient room where we waited for awhile. As we were waiting to be seen, I could overhear more personal conversations being had by the medical eye staff. Finally the doctor enters the room and I asked if she had a chance to review my child's eye history beforehand. She stated no and looked at my child's chart and said that they've never received them. I said I was told you had them. She stated who told you that? I told her the front desk staff, she stated that they in fact did not have them. A professional company would've followed up with myself and/or the other doctor if they had not received them prior to the appt for a new patient. During the appt, a front desk staff knocked on the door and entered the room; we were basically pushed out. I have never been at a medical appointment where a front desk staff entered a patient room while being seen by a doctor/medical staff. As we were checking out they attempted to charge me over $200. Luckily, I have prior knowledge and questioned this. The front desk attendant was unable to answer my questions about the charges. Another staff member had to step in. They stated the doctor billed/coded it wrong. Not my issue! Then my bill magically went to zero. Save yourself the time, money, and headache. Staff is unprofessional and will try to overcharge and do not have adequate knowledge on eye billing. Only positive were the two friendly check in ladies.

I would never recommend the Harrisburg Budget Blinds to anyone. I tried to order them from the store my realtor told me to go to but everything at Budget Blinds is by zipcode. They are cheap. We spent $5,790.00 and my realtor received only a $50.00 gift certificate. Two of us bought the blinds from him. At least $100.00 would of been kinder. We came on a Sunday afternoon in November, and he was on cloud 9 the whole afternoon. We did both the main museum and the chocolate lab experience, ($78 for the three of us) and I wanted to do the chocolate tastings of chocolates from around the world, but the lab and museum were already expensive enough. I love museums and thought the museum portion was particularly well done. Very informative, well laid out and easy to follow. Lots of interesting information about Milton Hershey's life and the empire he built. The chocolate lab experience was 45 minutes and a little hokey. "Making chocolate" amounted to a quick arts and crafts project using melted milk and white chocolates, followed by a power point presentation on how chocolate is made. The museum store has a lot of fun things for purchase that I assume you can't find outside of Hershey, such as chocolate colognes. Overall we had a good time and would recommend it as a fun place to spend and afternoon with kids.

Today I took my watch to Brent Miller in Lancaster they have a sterling reputation. Their watchmaker opened up my watch they said it looks like it never been serviced the inside was dirty and is both gaining and losing time and the gasket which is supposed to be replaced so it remains waterproof was the original gasket that was in the watch and never been replaced. I cannot say enough negative things about Leitzel's Jewelry, they completely screwed me and had me pay a couple of hundred bucks for either shoddy work and lied and didn't do the work. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!

I have had costume jewelry resized before and paid about $75.00. According to the young lady working there they would have to charge us the price as if the diamonds are real! What the heck does the diamonds have to do with the metal? She said return the set and get a smaller size! If I wanted to do that I wouldn't be in your store! I'm not even sure what size I now wear! And I'm being nice about what I've said. I could've said worse. Would not recommend this place. VERY disappointed since they have good reviews!
