My husband had a severe eye issue and stabbing pain in his eye and the receptionists there looked at my family like we were crossed eyed when I mentioned ER services even though their website states this is a service they provide. They didn't give any clarification or stated that we had to be established patients. Im sure their normal services are fine but they need to remove the ER services on their website if they don't provide this at all! Also i called first before going but no one answered the phone.

Long story short I returned 3 times and ended up spending $780.xx on a pair of glasses that I cannot see ot of. The prescription is very strong and she didn't account for my stigmatism. It's frustrating when you're trying to get the optician to understand that you are getting nauseous every time I had to use my near vision. The optician retired 2 weeks later the end of Oct '24 which is the month I went to get my glosses.

Thank God Morrison Associates purchased new equipment to scan the pupils, so there will be no more pupil dilation. I didn't escape the good ole eye puff test. Nevertheless, I appreciate this screening test because it detects glaucoma, which runs in my family. I didn't need a new eye prescription, but I think I will return to see the opticians and get a new pair of progressive eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses.

During one of my eye procedures, I informed Dr. Ernst that I was experiencing pain. He said he was "almost done" and continued chatting with the nurse. After the procedure, I developed an issue in one eye. At my follow-up appointment with Dr. Ernst, I said I didn't feel he was at fault. I explained my symptoms and asked for his thoughts. He immediately blamed me for poor post-operative care and claimed that my non-compliance in addressing my dry eyes was the reason for my issue. I was taken aback because I had already shared that I followed my post-operative instructions exactly as directed. Furthermore, Dr. Ernst suggested the implants due to my dry eyes. It was an uncomfortable appointment because he was very angry and stood right before me, seated in the chair. During all this, his transcriptionist is typing what he tells me. It was awful. After leaving, I realized he had never even checked the dryness of my eyes. I was instructed to return for multiple follow-ups with another doctor. Each time I visited and shared my ongoing issue, I received an eye exam without any feedback. After each appointment, I was told to return in a month. I told the doctor that each appointment required a two-hour round trip and a half day off from work, but they insisted I keep coming back. I was also trying to resolve billing issues. They kept billing my insurance despite signing a contract indicating follow-up care was included. I also had a hard time getting my consultation fee applied to the cost of my procedure. After a while, I wondered if they were trying to make more money than the huge sum I had already paid them. After I initially published this review, someone from the office called me. She restated everything Dr. Ernst said and made it clear she was unhappy about my review. I told her I was sorry she was "put in the middle" of my issue. She was even more upset when I declined to remove my review because it was truthful. The third doctor I consulted was polite, thorough, and honest. Although I did not resolve my issue, I appreciated being listened to. I made a poor decision to have this procedure here, but I don't blame them for my decision to have it. The way I was treated continues to bother me more than the vision issue I have.

I did work hard to get my new pairs from iMed updated within the 30 day window with little success. I called my brother who is an out-of-state optometrist to find out what to do about this. He said, "I'm impressed you noticed that, it's a real problem." At Babineau, John just shook his head when I mentioned this issue and told me Babineau has used the same Pennsylvania family-owned optical lab for over 40 years. And it really makes a difference! As soon as I got my glasses - and Babineau had the Ray-ban frames I most love in stock the day I stopped in - it was all over for the old pair! The glasses were made perfectly - the progressive lenses have me seeing all distances better than ever, with the perfect amount of "room" in each range (close, midrange for computer use, and distance), and Brian fitted them to my head so they don't hurt, but stay on without sliding down my nose.
