They didn't give any clarification or stated that we had to be established patients. Then I went to see a new eye doctor there, who I liked, and would continue seeing, but at the end of the appointment, she told me that she was leaving and she just got there. For other members of my family, they have had appointment after appointment after appointment for the same thing and each time they go to an appointment the person acts like they have no idea why they are there and tells them to return in 2 to 3 weeks. My one daughter is getting contact lenses and she's been back three times already because they can't remember why she's there each time and they only give her a limited supply and tell her to come back in two weeks. They gave her 4 pairs only and told her to wear them each day, but they're single use only. It seems like it's just a for-profit, assembly line anymore. Will likely look elsewhere for eye care moving forward, as I have limited trust in the providers.

Even before knowing if I was truly a candidate for PRK, Lynda was calling to check up on me and discuss any questions I had. Dr. Brent also took time to discuss any further questions about the procedures and his opinions on what he felt should be best for me. Not once did I felt rushed during my consultation and/or pressured to choose one method (LASIK) over another. After discussing with Dr. Brent, I felt like PRK was the best option for me. Dr. Brent clearly discussed the pros and cons of each procedure and alleviated any concerns that I had. A few days, and now, three years later my vision is 20/20. Before the procedure, the Dr. Brent took the time to speak with me to alleviate any residual fears. Lynda came by to see me shortly before the procedure to wish me the best. There weren't any side conversations, everyone was attentive, the staff was very professional and focused on delivering the best service possible. When I first sat up after the procedure and Dr. Brent asked me to read the time on the clock, without thinking about it...I read the time out loud. Then I realized I wasn't wearing my glasses (that I wore for 20 years). Recovery did take a bit longer than with LASIK (as clearly explained to me), but once my vision stabilized (a month later) life was awesome! I was legally blind in both eyes with out corrective lenses. I couldn't see my legs in the shower and at night I was starting to see less and less.
