From the start I walked in and the receptionist was very moody, the eye doctor was very nice. Then I went upstairs, let's just say you dont feel welcomed at all, almost as if your bothering them if you have any questions. Great First visit with Dr. Fugate at the Tuscarora office. The staff are very friendly and answered all my questions on my eye care concerns. We did go up to the 3rd floor and ordered new glasses. There is a good selection of frames and designer frames available. Pleasant and helpful staff as well. read more

If anyone is looking for an eye doctor. I highly encourage you to AVOID Premium Eye Care Group. My mother had an appointment scheduled a year in advanced in August. Two weeks before her appointment, they sent her a letter that her appointment was canceled due to staffing issues. They had to thin out appointments before of staffing issues. Now, she can't get in until February 2026. How ridiculous is that? They are so greedy to bringing to many patients when there is not enough staff. I do NOT recommend this practice. read more

Have been going to Dr Stegura for 20 years and have total confidence in him! Unfortunately had a terrible experience in Premier Eyeglass Shoppe! Been buying my eyeglasses there for years with no problem, A sweet older lady used to help me and actually listened to what I wanted... I love the frames on the glasses I was wearing! I asked to have my new lenses put into those frames. The woman who waited on me said there was a chance they would break and said new frames would be free with my insurance! Pulled out 5 frames that were supposedly similar to mine. Tried them on and she said each one looked good on me. Picked one and paid $312. $995.00 was submitted to the insurance company. Went back to have the glasses adjusted. Went back again to complain that I hated the glasses because they don't stay in place and I have to keep pushing them back into place. She adjusted them again. Said she would have the manager call me! That never happened! Wonder how long these flimsy $995 glasses will last! read more

I went here for the first time last year and everything went smoothly; however, they didn't take my insurance for eyeglasses so I went elsewhere. I went to Weber Eye who took my insurance and they referred me back to Premier for cataract surgery. I had to laugh because I could have just stayed with Premier had they advised me I needed the procedure. However, the care the staff took during the procedure as well as the professionalism and expertise of the physician was way beyond wonderful. Everyone was so nice as I was very nervous but it was a breeze! Anyone having trouble with blurs and other cataract side effects, I highly recommend this practice. Yea, Dr. Brent! Thanks, everyone. Do not go here to purchase glasses. Christina was rude and screaming that she is tired of how people complain that she is not as accommodating as the previous woman (Jean) who worked there previously. She was very unprofessional and should not be working in any capacity dealing with customers. Her boss just brushed over her behavior because it is so difficult to get people to work. Very unprofessional office at Shipoke. Steer clear. Many other better places to go and get treated with respect. Will never go back after being a customer for 10 years. read more

Terrible billing practices at this facility. I saw Dr Zimmerman for an eye exam. I was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and needed two follow up visits. It was never explained that each follow up visit would bill out at $124.00 each. No discounts for follow up visits. They fully charge as a new visit. Will no be going back. read more

I cannot express enough satisfaction with the staff--Lynda and Dr. Brent were open, honest, helpful, and friendly during my whole process. Even before knowing if I was truly a candidate for PRK, Lynda was calling to check up on me and discuss any questions I had. Dr. Brent also took time to discuss any further questions about the procedures and his opinions on what he felt should be best for me. Not once did I felt rushed during my consultation and/or pressured to choose one method (LASIK) over another. After discussing with Dr. Brent, I felt like PRK was the best option for me. Dr. Brent clearly discussed the pros and cons of each procedure and alleviated any concerns that I had. A few days, and now, three years later my vision is 20/20. Before the procedure, the Dr. Brent took the time to speak with me to alleviate any residual fears. Lynda came by to see me shortly before the procedure to wish me the best. There weren't any side conversations, everyone was attentive, the staff was very professional and focused on delivering the best service possible. When I first sat up after the procedure and Dr. Brent asked me to read the time on the clock, without thinking about it...I read the time out loud. Then I realized I wasn't wearing my glasses (that I wore for 20 years). Recovery did take a bit longer than with LASIK (as clearly explained to me), but once my vision stabilized (a month later) life was awesome! Premier Eye Care showed technical proficiency and more importantly treated me more than just a patient. I still love my "new" sight and don't regret choosing them. My experience was so positive that I have referred a few of my friends to have their vision corrected here. Without a doubt, I highly recommend them! read more

I quit them almost two decades ago when the ophthalmologist I was seeing left the practice. I have glaucoma, and I was told that the optometrist could treat it. No disrespect to the practice of optometry, but I want an ophthalmologist to treat problems that could potentially result in blindness. read more

I have to say. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated by this office. I received a letter in the mail several weeks ago cancelling my appt with no information other than I needed to call the office. When I called the office the receptionist read me a note that was in my file that said "patient should no longer come in anymore as we don't accept his insurance and he'd have to pay for the office visit out of pocket" or something to that effect. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The reason why my appt was cancelled was because they didn't accept my insurance. After all of the years of being a patient of that office I was treated like a piece of trash that was thrown away. I have spent $000s in eye surgery at this place and this is the way I was treated. No one even had the decency to call me and explain the situation in order to find out what I wanted to do going forward based on my insurance company change. Needless to say I will NEVER go to Premier again and will tell everyone who will listen that they shouldn't either. This is not how you treat patients. Very disappointed in the customer service. The eye care wasn't anything that I couldn't get anywhere else either. They always have a million people in the office and they line you up like cattle. Its ridiculous. read more

I have been considering LASIK surgery the past 10 years. I finally got the nerve to go through with it last fall, and it has been the best decision I have ever made. I have utmost respect for Dr. Pham and her staff, who made me feel very comfortable during the entire procedure. They have given me new found freedom and independence when it comes to my vision. The procedure itself was pain-free and I had perfect vision after a short 20-minute nap. The very next night after the procedure, I was able to watch Cirque Du Soleil without any discomfort at the Giant Center. I recently had a PRK procedure done at Premier Eye Care Group and I had wonderful experience. Lynda took care of everything for me. She described the differences between PRK and Lasik and she completely left it up to me on which one I should get. After Lynda helped me Dr. Pham then saw me and she was outstanding. She was extremely professional and reassuring. The day of the procedure Dr. Pham and her team were fantastic. After a nurse gave me a couple of happy pills and numbing drops the procedure was done in 15 mins. I am pretty much seeing 20/20 now and my vision keeps improving. It's been a year since I made the decision to have my LASIK done by Dr. Pham, and I could not be any happier with the results. TERRIBLE SELECTION OF GLASSES. BARELY HAD ANY BRANDS POOR SELECTION. OVERPRICED BRANDS I NEVER HEARD OF FOR $200. NO Prada, NO GUCCI, NO HUGO, NO BURBERRY, NO KENNETH COLE, they did have Ray Ban. Anyway I showed up at my appointment Michelle told me that I saw another doctor and that I would have to pay out of pocket. Which I never saw an eye doctor my wife did. Then Michelle​ told me she spoke to my wife and she told my wife that she needed to get my authorization released. Then Michelle's story changed again now she said that she spoke to me and told me that I needed to have my authorization released. I said I was called and asked to confirm my appointment after my wife cancelled her appointment. Which I did confirm my appointment. I was sent to 2 text messages reminding me of my appointment. I received a phone call to confirm my appointment. No mention that I needed to get my authorization released. Michelle's story changed multiple times throughout the encounter. The best customer treatment was when she told me I was lying that she spoke to my wife and she remembered speaking with her last week. Michelle was so sure that she spoke to my wife she said she remembered the conversation. Office manager Gloria came out and Michelle said she spoke to my wife & then she read her notes in the computer and the computer says spoke to patient! This is where it gets funny Michelle's story changes again that's right she insisted she spoke to me and she told me it. She remembered now! REALLY? INSTEAD OF JUST APOLOGIZING AND SAYING SHE MADE A MISTAKE SHE KEPT RIGHT ON INSISTING SHE I SPOKE TO ME. She kept right on arguing with me saying that she spoke to me and that I should have known. Michelle & Gloria were very rude and snobbish trying to make me feel as though I was the one that made the mistake. In the end they looked rude and like jerks to waiting room of patients. When it was finally blatantly obvious that they were the ones that made the mistake and realized I was only standing there typing a review they gave me a terrible apology. Thanks for wasting time better yet thanks for being yourselves. You showed me why I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PREMIER EYE EVER AGAIN! MY WIFE WENT TO VISIONWORKS HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE GO THERE 4X THE SELECTION OF GLASSES. GOOD THING I WALKED OVER LOOKED AT THEIR GLASSES TINY SELECTION OF GLASSES. My family and I have gone here for about 5 years. They are terribly rude, and it seems like we spend a few minutes in one area, wait 20 minutes. Few minutes in the next area, wait 20 minutes. Over and over. I convince myself each time to stay with the practice, as we only go once a year. But last week, the receptionist was so rude that I decided enough is enough. I am not usually one to post public complaints. But I am truly horrified with how I was treated today at the tuscarora street office. Today my appointment was at 1:10 pm with Dr. O'Donnell (I was a new patient). I arrived a little early around 1:00 PM. I waited half an hour in the first waiting room, saw a tech, and waited another hour and a half in the second waiting room. I waited literally 2 hours (not exaggerating) until I saw the doctor at around 3:00 PM. I only got to see him for about 2-3 minutes. (again not exaggerating). He didn't even check my prescription. When I asked if my prescription had changed, he said "it probably has." (The tech had already checked my vision, but I didn't understand why the doctor wouldn't at least double check the tech's work). No one apologized to me or explained why I was sitting for 2 hours. It made me very frustrated that the doctor thought 2 hours of my time was not valuable compared to his time. (or the office's time). The staff was also not helpful when I asked partway through whether I had come to the wrong office or had gotten the wrong appointment time. I wasn't treated respectfully or even like a person whose time matters. I am a teacher and a mom, and my time is important too. I have never been treated in this way at a doctor's office. Luckily, the receptionist at the very end was kind to me (the only helpful one during the entire experience!). I certainly will not be returning. read more

I scheduled an appointment for my 5 year old with possible Strabismus. I had told the person over the phone I had United Healthcare and provided her with my member ID. I then show up with my husband and son and as soon as Karen at the front desk at the Hartzdale Drive in Camp Hill saw his insurance she said they could not see him. My son has a disability so he has medical assistance as well through United Healthcare. I advised I was not aware. She kept saying we couldn't see him. I advised her that why can't they just bill me? She never asked if I was willing to pay out of pocket. She just kept saying they could not see my son! Why?? Who turns patients away??? Especially a child??? I took my son out of school, both my husband and myself took off work just to hear this woman say they could not see my son?? Whatever happened to I apologize for the mishap? We could see him but you would have to pay. I got NONE OF THAT! Just rudeness. Very unprofessional staff! The trash that works in your office needs classes on etiquette. But I'm sure you guys don't care cause it's all about how much insurance companies can pay your doctors right?? I'm going to tell anyone looking for an eye doctor and/or Ophthalmologist to stay clear of this practice all show with no class whatsoever! I was willing to pay out of pocket since we were already there! But I guess a patient's cash isn't as good as insurance companies. BEWARE!!! read more
