I was on the hunt for the frames (Arise in white gold by Dita) that Ali Wong wore in "Always Be My Maybe" and stumbled upon Luxury Eyesight's website. They offer not only frames by Dita but a host of other designers from Japan and Europe. + Great service. I tried calling many retail and optical boutiques where the service was spotty and the return policy very poor. These places could use a lesson from Ryan, the founder of Luxury Eyesight. He was very responsive and even told me about Asian Fit options for the frames I was considering. Hello??? Why didn't the other places (not even the designer store itself!) tell me about them? The personalized service is top notch. + Generous options. There may be specials that the store is running so ask. Plus they don't charge sales tax and that's huge depending on where you live. + Family owned. I'm all about supporting small businesses vs franchises. It's 20/200 -'s: - Nothing to note. I wish their was a brick and mortar of LE near me but it's really not necessary. Shopping online is waaaay easier and when you get great service and up to 30 days to decide which frames works for you, then why bother? For someone who enjoys fashion and eyewear that can give you a facelift, I spare no expense. Finding a place that understands and provides vogue looks from quality designers is priceless.

Two weeks later I called to ask where the frames were and got a female employee who essentially told me that it was my fault because I should have called to cancel. Nowhere did the website notify me that the frames were not in stock and that it would take an "estimate" time of 6 weeks to get frame. A business should not charge a customer for a product it doesn't have and might not get to the customer for two months. Not a reputable business.

I recently purchased a Kaweco pen from this store that was sold to me in damaged condition. When I…read moreopened the box, the pen had several deep scratches and the seal on the rollerball was broken. Therefore, I attempted to bring it in for exchange. There was a short time lapse between purchase and request to exchange, so I assume the store manager thinks that I damaged the product-- and therefore would not exchange it. They will not take responsibility for selling me a damaged product, and insist their customer service policy does not support this scenario. Based on this negative experience, I do not recommend shopping here. Which is unfortunate because I truly love the store and the brands it sells.

The employee working was really helpful and kind. He answered all our questions (a lot of, "What is this [stylish Japanese item]?") and even gave us a tip on some amazing donuts around the corner (unfortunately they weren't open that day). The shop is wonderfully curated and stocked with products I've never seen before, which is always a delight. The sheer number of different pens and notebooks may overwhelm those of us who love those things! I had to stop myself from trying every single pen (which were then put in a bin to be sanitized). The selection of Japanese house slippers was also really cool. They also have all kinds of bags, bento boxes, a whole display of eyewear, and a ton of travel tools! I'm a little sad I didn't get this pen holder that slides onto your notebook cover so it's always easily accessible. So smart! Smart is a good way to describe this store. It's very sleek, minimal, and stylish; almost a little too stylish for me! However I felt comfortable and welcomed shopping here, and would recommend Topdrawer to anyone who appreciates well made products and design.

The associates from the Sunglass Hut at this location were MUCH nicer and have been working to help me get my remaining money back but it has been such a struggle. I have called customer care, the audit team, and so many other numbers in between. This experience has been the worst and no one is able to locate my refund check. Absolutely nothing has been done by corporate to remedy or help the situation. I have been getting no communication and have wasted so many hours trying to track down the check. I want my money refunded and something done about all this time wasted.

I was complaining about my old pair of Maui Jims and Sebastian explained to me how Maui Jim had improved their product line so that they were more secure and less breakable. They had a promotion going on for Maui Jims where they were giving away gift bags that included a water bottle, golf towel, golf tees, strings for your glasses, bottle opener, and a string bag. What a lucky coincidence! I had a birthday 20% off coupon that I had forgotten to bring but Sebastian was nice to apply it to my purchase. My husband's glasses had suddenly broken when one of the screws came loose, so we were trying to find somewhere that could help with a quick repair. After calling a few places, the doctor/owner kindly told us to stop by and she would see if she had the correct screw. Although she didn't have the exact match, she took the time to find a very similar one and repaired the glasses well enough to hold up until we can get the proper replacement. What stood out most was her kindness and willingness to help, even though we weren't established patients. She went out of her way to assist us, and we truly appreciated it. Because of this experience, I even saved a photo of the office so I can recommend it to friends and family looking for an optometrist in the future. I wanted to get myself a nice pen so I bought a $95 Kaweco pen from this store. Signs on the wall said returns are accepted within 30 days and the salesperson told me I'd be able to return the item. When I got home, I really didn't like how the pen wrote on my notebook. I returned to this store well within the 30 day window to return the pen. The first person I spoke to was kind and told me that they could accept the return. Then a woman came over who told me that I can't return the pen because I have used it. She suggested that I ruined the function of the pen by messing with the nib, which I never did. She didn't introduce herself or ask me any questions to clarify what I didn't like about the product, and turned and walked away when I still had unresolved questions. I definitely feel that the way I was treated was not appropriate. Overall, what I experienced was a very stuck-up, "you're not worth our time" attitude and feeling from this Topdrawer store. After getting back home I did a bit of research and ended up buying FIVE pens for a fraction of the cost of the one pen I got from Topdrawer, and I am much happier with these pens. I recommend everyone do the same before buying an overpriced fountain pen that can't be returned.
