Lesson learned at Sun Glass Hut! Purchased a $285 pair of Ray-Ban's in Texas less than a week ago…read moreand after wearing them for three days realized they don't fit my nose and head so they constantly slip down and drive me nuts. I travel for work all over the country and tried to replace at the sunglass hut in Beavercreek, Ohio, which is where I currently was due to my job. I had original receipt, but I did not have the box they came in and I used adhesive to stick the sunglass case to my dashboard for convenience. Since I could not provide the sunglass case without any sticky residue left from removing it out of my car, the young lady was unable to honor the perfect pair of promise and easy returns policies sunglass professes. I told the young lady I did not need the new case and if she could exchange for the different pair of chromance, Ray-Ban's I would give her the brand new case right then and there with an unused lens cloth that is included, and she could put my return in that case. Simple solution, no malice or fraud intended, simply a pair of $285 Ray Ban's that fit my head. She wouldn't do that, and refused to call her manager since "her manager always tells her and the part-timers that the policy is the final say-so. Understood. Policies are for a reason I get that. Just thought this was one of those circumstances that called for real one-on-one, case-by-case professional customer service and that was definitely not offered at this location. Soooo I'm stuck with this pair, and the bitter taste of corporate handcuffing of common sense in its staff. Last pair I get from The Sunglass Hut. And remember to save the box, the case, and the original receipt if there's any doubt you might not like them after a week- Or three.

Where do I start? My frames broke after about 15 months of very light use. So I called the Stanton…read morephone number, which goes to a call center of reps that sound like English is their 2nd language. They had a hard time understanding my issue. Then, every time they tried to transfer me to my local store (in Beavercreek OH) the call would roll to voicemail. After two days of this, and two days of them telling me they've requested someone from the store call me, I was able to get the to give me the store's direct number. I called the store directly around 20 times in two days and was never ever to get someone to pick up. Here's where it really gets good. I finally give up and drive to the store (about 30 miles) just to see if they still carry my frame and how long the warranty lasts. They carry the frame, but the warranty is only for 12 months. After stating my disappointment I'm their service the manager did honor my warranty. That is the ONLY reason I didn't give one star. So, after finding out they had the frames I then had to come back the next day to get my lenses put in the new frames and the glasses fitted to my face. A nice woman started the fitting, then passed my off to a rude man. I would start explaining how I the fit was off, then he'd cut me off and say "yeah, I see what they need... just give them to me". Then he handed me off to a 3rd person. This older man made several comments about how I had a "crooked face" as he made adjustments. To top things off, I check out the phone problem I called their direct line while I was standing near one. The ringers on all of the phones were OFF. A light blinks, then it eventually rolls to the call center. Their voicemail light was also lit with who know how many messages. All in all, I recommend you avoid this place like the plague. The cost savings isn't worth the trouble.

First impression when walking in, it felt dirty...the carpet, some of the glasses on the displays were out of place, and there were no other customers in there, what's the excuse for that besides lazy employees? And then we finalized the paperwork on the insurance and they told me they don't accept it, so I inquire why? The answer I received and the manner in which it was delivered was off, and then another person started chiming in with half cocked input that was not required, which was a hard stop. Do not talk down to people like we don't understand how these things work, that's the not issue at hand, is it? This is definitely a business whose model Is predicated on subpar service, operates on bait and switch (read the complaints) and caters to a very specific clientele. Avoid, their low review rating is still too high.

You do get what you pay for! Went to LensCrafters in Fairfield Commons Mall due to the reviews! Was met at the door and person that assisted me was very polite, knowledgeable and looked up my insurance. My insurance paid half which is better than nothing and the process was so easy and no hassle. Got my glasses in one week and again was greeted at the door and assisted to try on my new glasses. Have had them a few days and absolutely love them! I can finally see clearly and got all the transition, bifocals, blue'ing and scratch protection. No hassle and great service! They have a new customer for life!

I'm 6 hours post surgery, still wearing my sunglasses and recovering. I can't review my new vision…read moreyet as it takes time to fully recover, so I'll update this as soon as I can, but I wanted to review the facility, staff, doctor, and procedure while it was still fresh on my mind. First off - if you're trying to get the "$250 per eye" price they advertise you have to have a very minor prescription. Most don't. It's not false advertising and they put those details in the fine print like every other advertiser. The facility is very nice and well kept. The staff are all very friendly. The day of my consultation they were very thorough in explaining the procedure and answering my questions as well as performing the exam to ensure that I was a good candidate for Lasik. The only thing I wish they'd warned me about before the consultation was that I'd be dilated. On the day of the procedure the three or four nurses in the procedure room were awesome. They talked to me though the entire surgery, which took less than 10 minutes from start to finish and the the "work" on my eyes was less than a minute per eye. The doctor was SUPER personable and you could tell he truly cared about his patients. He's performed Lasik over 108,000 eyeballs!!! I can still see, though my eyes are watery and sensitive, and the surgery was basically painless. There were a few moments things were "uncomfortable", but not bad at all!

However, I decided to go through with the visit since there was no cost for the evaluation. My experience was nothing like how the negative reviews presented LasikPlus. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and there was absolutely no hint of pressure to write a review, purchase more services or anything else. Dr. Holden was the most personable and informative eye doctor I've ever visited. I was treated as a valued patient throughout the process, even after it was determined I was not a good candidate for lasik. People who try and harm a reputable business by writing bad reviews are just another category of scammers. Although I'm obviously unqualified to review their services, I can certainly tell you LasikPlus offers excellent customer service.

The Giant website didn't cooperate with VPN; we had to re-purchase after Giant auto- canceled our order because with our VPN they couldn't verify our IP address. That's how tight the bike market is! Ok, got it done, and K&G actually had it ready a day earlier than expected.
