Lesson learned at Sun Glass Hut! Purchased a $285 pair of Ray-Ban's in Texas less than a week ago…read moreand after wearing them for three days realized they don't fit my nose and head so they constantly slip down and drive me nuts. I travel for work all over the country and tried to replace at the sunglass hut in Beavercreek, Ohio, which is where I currently was due to my job. I had original receipt, but I did not have the box they came in and I used adhesive to stick the sunglass case to my dashboard for convenience. Since I could not provide the sunglass case without any sticky residue left from removing it out of my car, the young lady was unable to honor the perfect pair of promise and easy returns policies sunglass professes. I told the young lady I did not need the new case and if she could exchange for the different pair of chromance, Ray-Ban's I would give her the brand new case right then and there with an unused lens cloth that is included, and she could put my return in that case. Simple solution, no malice or fraud intended, simply a pair of $285 Ray Ban's that fit my head. She wouldn't do that, and refused to call her manager since "her manager always tells her and the part-timers that the policy is the final say-so. Understood. Policies are for a reason I get that. Just thought this was one of those circumstances that called for real one-on-one, case-by-case professional customer service and that was definitely not offered at this location. Soooo I'm stuck with this pair, and the bitter taste of corporate handcuffing of common sense in its staff. Last pair I get from The Sunglass Hut. And remember to save the box, the case, and the original receipt if there's any doubt you might not like them after a week- Or three.

I had never been there and was a little shocked that the receptionist gave me part of my eye exam. Then sat me in a room with a tv monitor and said the doctor will be with you soon! Yep! Sure enough the doctor comes on the tv screen, has me read some letters and that was it. I go out into the store pick out my glasses, get transition lens, anti glare, anti scratch. She said it will be less than 2 weeks and that will be 322.00 after insurance. Roughly 4 weeks later I picked up my glasses. One week later the lens fell out and I took them back to be fixed. I told the girl I was having a hard time seeing and she said that I just needed to get adjusted to them. My eyes are getting worse with bad headaches so I end up getting another eye appointment at another doctor ( a real live doctor). It took her less than 20 minutes to tell me I have large cataracts in both eyes. I had them test my glasses from Stanton and she said there was barely a prescription in them, that they weren't much more than readers! Now I'm looking at having to have surgery that I could have possibly had 3 months ago! I'm waiting to hear back from Corporate to see about a reimbursement. Fingers crossed!

I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and there was absolutely no hint of pressure to write a review, purchase more services or anything else. Dr. Holden was the most personable and informative eye doctor I've ever visited. I was treated as a valued patient throughout the process, even after it was determined I was not a good candidate for lasik. People who try and harm a reputable business by writing bad reviews are just another category of scammers. Although I'm obviously unqualified to review their services, I can certainly tell you LasikPlus offers excellent customer service.

I have spoken with many many people who have had bad experiences there. I have gone nearly a year without adequate vision. Actually, I should not be driving with this vision and have explained this during every 3 month check up. However, they have told me numerous times not to get prescription lenses. At my last exam, it showed my sight has gotten even worse. Now they are claiming they cannot schedule more than a couple weeks out. Yet they said to wait until the last week of the month only then to claim they have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks to schedule for the following month. At this rate, I will never have decent vision. I left my job of 8 years because it required me to write reports to the court of what I observe in order to keep children safe. However, I am unable to actual see anything with clarity making my reports inaccurate. Due to the stress of possibly failing to observe and report concerns due to poor eyesight, I left the job. I just need to see. I paid $4000 and am worse off than before the surgery - at least I could wear prescription glasses so I could see. I clearly made a HUGE mistake going to this provider. My advice, if you need Lasik in the Dayton OH area, I STRONGLY encourage to check out Stahl Vision. Getting this procedure done at Lasik Plus is one of, if the not the, worse experience I have had with a medical provider. After they get their money, it appears you are on your own.

When they pointed it out, it was a women's size large. This was incorrect but they told me the Kettering employee told them women's size large. Mind you, I was standing next to the Kettering employee when he called over and at no point did he say women's size. The employee then wandered back to the service section to continue her conversation with other staff without any further offer of help or assistance. They worked with us on navigating the purchase. The Giant website didn't cooperate with VPN; we had to re-purchase after Giant auto- canceled our order because with our VPN they couldn't verify our IP address. That's how tight the bike market is!
