I had my procedure performed at the beginning of October 2015 and was seeing 20/20 the day after when I went back for my follow up. The staff is excellent and the service they provided & continue to provide is top notch. Before my actual procedure date everyone made sure I was completely comfortable with all aspects of what would happen & again reviewed everything the day services were provided. I had been considering Lasik for years. My dad had his surgery done by Dr. Marino back in 2004 and he still says it's the best thing he ever did. I knew then that when I did decide to get it done, Dr. Marino would be the surgeon. Scheduling the consultation was easy. Dr. Vidikan, the optometrist, is very upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. At the time of the surgery, there were other staff in the OR to help put me at ease while Dr. Marino did the surgery. It really is surprising how quickly it's done! Although my vision was hazy/cloudy right after surgery, I was able to see! Today, my 24-hour post-op appointment went well. I'm seeing 20/20 and my eyes feel great! I am 65 years old and I have been wearing glasses since I was in the 6th grade. Every time I get my eyes checked the prescription gets stronger. I have a very strong prescription and I am afraid of going blind. I have tried to get Lasik from others but I was told I was too old. For those of you wanting to see again I can only say one thing...come to LASIK Plus in Dayton! I had my laser surgery yesterday and I can already see better than I did 2 days ago! I was super nervous but the people here were so nice and supportive that I was calmed by time the surgery started. I won't lie and say there was no pain afterwards but during the surgery I felt nothing at all. Deu to the characteristics of my visual deficiency the shosen treatment was mono vision. Meaning one eye procedure, to allow no glasses needed. The eye I did the procedure is just perfect for long distance. I believe part of the success of this procedure lays over the patient being still during the procedure and using eye drops avoiding rubbing their eyes. I liked it. read more

I agree that the $250 per eye advertised is probably not something that happens every day. However, the staff at LasikPlus in Centerville were awesome!!!
