I'm 6 hours post surgery, still wearing my sunglasses and recovering. I can't review my new vision yet as it takes time to fully recover, so I'll update this as soon as I can, but I wanted to review the facility, staff, doctor, and procedure while it was still fresh on my mind. First off - if you're trying to get the "$250 per eye" price they advertise you have to have a very minor prescription. Most don't. It's not false advertising and they put those details in the fine print like every other advertiser. The facility is very nice and well kept. The staff are all very friendly. The day of my consultation they were very thorough in explaining the procedure and answering my questions as well as performing the exam to ensure that I was a good candidate for Lasik. The only thing I wish they'd warned me about before the consultation was that I'd be dilated. On the day of the procedure the three or four nurses in the procedure room were awesome. They talked to me though the entire surgery, which took less than 10 minutes from start to finish and the the "work" on my eyes was less than a minute per eye. The doctor was SUPER personable and you could tell he truly cared about his patients. He's performed Lasik over 108,000 eyeballs!!! I can still see, though my eyes are watery and sensitive, and the surgery was basically painless. There were a few moments things were "uncomfortable", but not bad at all! read more

Before visiting LasikPlus in Kenwood, I read reviews and nearly cancelled my appointment based on a few negative submissions. However, I decided to go through with the visit since there was no cost for the evaluation. My experience was nothing like how the negative reviews presented LasikPlus. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and there was absolutely no hint of pressure to write a review, purchase more services or anything else. Dr. Holden was the most personable and informative eye doctor I've ever visited. I was treated as a valued patient throughout the process, even after it was determined I was not a good candidate for lasik. People who try and harm a reputable business by writing bad reviews are just another category of scammers. This review is for LasikPlus in Centerville OH. It appears their site does not allow for reviews and claims to have 5.0. There is NO WAY it's 5.0. I have spoken with many many people who have had bad experiences there. I have gone nearly a year without adequate vision. Actually, I should not be driving with this vision and have explained this during every 3 month check up. However, they have told me numerous times not to get prescription lenses. At my last exam, it showed my sight has gotten even worse. Now they are claiming they cannot schedule more than a couple weeks out. Yet they said to wait until the last week of the month only then to claim they have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks to schedule for the following month. At this rate, I will never have decent vision. I left my job of 8 years because it required me to write reports to the court of what I observe in order to keep children safe. However, I am unable to actual see anything with clarity making my reports inaccurate. Due to the stress of possibly failing to observe and report concerns due to poor eyesight, I left the job. I just need to see. I paid $4000 and am worse off than before the surgery - at least I could wear prescription glasses so I could see. I clearly made a HUGE mistake going to this provider. My advice, if you need Lasik in the Dayton OH area, I STRONGLY encourage to check out Stahl Vision. Getting this procedure done at Lasik Plus is one of, if the not the, worse experience I have had with a medical provider. After they get their money, it appears you are on your own. read more

Going to LasikPlus is one of the best decisions I ever made! I was super nervous about it but the staff made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the whole process! They are also super fast which helped with my nerves! I'm so happy to be seeing better than I ever thought I would without contacts or glasses. No more worries on my 1 year old smashing my glasses. I can not say enough good things about getting LASIK from LASIKPlus in Centerville. Every single person in that office was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about me seeing better. Plus (pun intended) the surgery was quick and easy. Yes, there is some discomfort after the surgery, but that is to be expected. I had the surgery two days ago and my vision is already 20/25 and still improving (it takes about 12 weeks to fully heal and get back to the best vision). I was very nervous before my LASIK surgery and the staff and doctor were great at explaining everything and holding my hand through the entire process. The doctor even called the night of the surgery to check on how I was doing. The post op instructions were made very easy by having clear written instructions and being given the medicated drops that were required. Both Doctors here were amazing. I was very nervous and Dr. Marino made it a point to call me the evening before to make sure I didn't have any questions and he called the evening after my procedure to check in.
