I was living in my contacts (and a crappy pair of backup glasses) which is never a good situation to be in. I brought the frame in to Sally's and they ordered new lenses for me; I was quoted 4 weeks, which is understandable due to supply chain delays these days, but the lenses arrived in just 2 weeks. I was still apprehensive because I've had issues with peripheral distortion in the past (I have a moderately high Rx), but I went in, tried on the glasses, and they were crystal clear! A few days later, I realized that the frame was feeling pretty tight, despite having worn it regularly in an attempt to stretch it a bit, so I called Sally's and scheduled an appointment (same day!) for an adjustment. The optician made several tweaks to the frame and made sure I was comfortable before sending me on my way. Everybody I've interacted with at Sally's has been ridiculously kind and accommodating. It's obvious that this shop is a Charlotte institution because it's been busy every time I've gone in, and seems to have a very loyal and discerning customer base. They only sell the best and are unapologetic about how much that costs (as they should be). If you care about your eyewear and want the highest quality materials, from frames to lenses, Sally's is the only shop you need!

Morgan greeted me very personably as I entered and after I showed her damage to frames, she took them and in less than 15 minutes brought them out to me as good as new. We were recommended to come to Warby Parker at Atherton Mill, 2000 South Blvd. First, the staff was very professional and welcoming . and Ms. Licensed Optician Lily H came to us and offered assistance sincerely. She is so awesome, she fixed the damages on the eyeglass frame on the spot after 20 minutes. She is very friendly and we asked to offer a fee and she told us that it was at NO COST to us. I'm very knowledgeable on Oakley's different lenses, frames, etc but she walked me through the "Custom" process and I was able to essentially build my perfect pair of sunglasses. I wanted to get a second pair of lenses so I'd have a couple of different options for full sun or cloudy. The manager made sure I got the best deal and I was able to get yet another pair of frames with my second pair of lenses, for the usual cost of just lenses! Are Oakleys a bit on the pricy side? Sure, but I drive 50-60k miles a year and I'm willing to pay a bit more for peace of mind. I'm not too sure of the steep clothing prices though, but not really what I came in for. Be sure to ask the staff about the Prizm lenses. They are polarized, plus they take it one step further with selective wavelength filtering based on their specific use case (ex. they have Golf, Road, Trail, Daily, etc..). I live much closer to the Concord Mills store, but the last time I was there it was so busy I couldn't get anyone's attention. I'll stick with this store and their superb staff!
