We we're having a bad experience with Vivint Solar and we're just about ready to give up on solar entirely. After hearing from all the other solar companies and constant harassment for the door to door salesman, a good friend recommended Brian and Sunergy Construction. I was somewhat skeptical after dealing with Vivint so I was hesitant to try again. Brian was 100% professional and considerate to all our needs. He answered every question I could think of and explained everything down to a tee. A lot of salesman will just talk and talk and defer a lot of the important questions to make a sale. Brian chose to let the work speak for itself. Our installation went as smooth as can be and in great time ! Brian communicated with us thru every phase of the installation and was 100% accessible at all times for any questions. Our panels look modern compared to the dinosaurs on the homes nearby. UPDATE: Although Kurt was nice, I would NOT recommend this company whatsoever. I started this process since November 2017. As of today (8/29/18), I still don't have my system up and running. I thought it was because of my HOA and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I gave them way too much time. They even took a long time to re-stucco around the new electrical panel and make sure they do a good job re-stuccoing and not just slapping it on. When I finally contacted them, Sunergy said my system should have been working since May 2018. They do not keep track of your usage or if the system is even working as in my case. I received info from SCE regarding the system being up and running since May but in July, I received a bill from SCE. If at all possible, go with another company. If you chose this company, make sure you stay on top of them on a weekly basis. Good Luck!! read more

It was a pleasure to meet and work with Kurt. Kurt was very patient and helpful in finding the information that was required to get the solar project completed. Kurt took the time to explain the different plans and how many panels we would need to meet our needs. Kurt and the company was very helpful in dealing with the panels I had already that needed to be removed and reinstalled after my roof was completed. SunErgy did a very professional job putting in our solar panels on our pre-manufactured home in Stonegate, Castaic. No money out of our pocket. We just had to show we pay our bills. Kurt was very helpful and got all our questions answered immediately ! SunErgy handled getting approval from our HOA and dealt with the city in getting the correct permits . They also did a great job taking down our 49 foot tree. They cut it down cleaned up and ground the stump. It only took a day to do. Again NO cost to us . Then they installed completely installed the panels in just a few days. Every thing was done neatly and respectful to our privacy. They were quick to answer all our questions as well. Thanks to Erik, I am delighted to now have an efficient solar energy system installed for my home electrical needs. Erik explained in detail what we could expect from using solar and was extremely patient with us making sure we understand all the benefits. The salesman Kurt, was very professional, always answering our questions and waiting for us to call him without overwhelming us and being pushy. After a lot of shopping and rate comparison for 10kW Solar System we have decided to go with Sunergy and Erik Albrecht. Erik came over to our house and the contact was signed within 2 minutes - no kidding! Very professional and the rate he gave us was $10K cheaper then any other quotes we got. It took 3 weeks to jump all the permit hurdles and installation itself took only 2 days. We have a clay roof so it is a lot more work. Sunergy replaced all the broken tiles (a lot of them) for free. Free main panel upgrade was a SUPER very nice touch. The electrician they sent to replace it is a perfectionist just like us. I have never seen wiring done so neat! We had many questions, but Erik was there to walk us through the entire process start to finish. This is really a no-brainer. Costs nothing; saves a lot. What's not to like? Some people say they don't like to see the panels. I really don't know why. I don't think they are ugly. At my house, they were installed on the lower side of the roof facing an empty field. They did it in one day (a 100-degree + day!). My work is slow in summer, so I sit at home running the AC.
