Great coffee! We had the cafe miele and it was delicious. The place was crowded on a saturday morning and it's a tight space so it was awkward standing in line so close to people sitting at tables. We only tried this particular location so I would be curious to try the other spots in town as the coffee was really good. read more

We revisited on Saturday, closer to lunchtime, and my guys got the mocha shakes. They were in agreement they were really tasty and the espresso was noticeable. While we didn't have an issue snagging a table, it was not a great experience. The crowd was steady and the line curled around the small space, leaving people weaving around all the tables. It was difficult to have a conversation - not to mention the number of coughs and sneezes happening above our heads. We visited the patio area which had wooden tables. This is also the smoking section so we didn't stick around there either. While I've tried enough of the menu to determine Sunergos isn't my preferred coffee spot, of all the locations this is my least favorite spot due to the confined space. I also find them to be $1-2 higher on menu items compared to competitors. Within a two mile radius you can find at least 3 other local coffee shops, and I actually drove to one to spend my money on drinks and food. read more

My husband always ask for oat milk or a milk alternative in my drink due to my severe lactose intolerance. He brings our drinks home and I'm treated to a mouth full of sweet milk, couldn't even taste the coffee. I'm very disappointed this was my first time ever having Sunergos and it has been hyped up to me since I moved here. We even didn't get the right size drink. Just disappointed completely. read more

Since I was next door at Nord's Bakery it only made sense to grab a coffee at one of my favorite coffee shops. Although Sunergos has a number of locations this is the first one I believe. Pleasant ambiance with good coffee and friendly staff it's a definite go to for a cup of Joe. Although it is street parking only generally there are ample spaces with possibly the exception of early mornings since it is right next door to the popular Nord's Bakery. read more

A wonderful coffee roaster / cafe in Louisville KY! My buddy Wagner used to work there while he was studying in Louisville. I got to visit last October. Although this location does not offer hand brew option (understandably~ because the line of people!), but their batch brew is dialed in. Solid space for grabbing coffee with a friend, getting some work done, or even chilling on their back patio. They had plenty of seating inside as well as big picnic tables out back, there were even outlets back there! They have two restrooms and towards the back you can see where they roast some of their beans. Very cool! They have plenty of coffee drinks (hot or iced) and even a nice selection of tea. I went with one of the cashier's favorites. I can't quite remember the name of it but I enjoyed it. While I didn't try one, they have several small items to snack on. Three hours here as my first coffee and first office. I found a comfy seat that had enough room for two laptops and there was a power outlet nearby. Once that was settled, it was time for to queue up for coffee. I chose the redeye as it was that sort of not great sleep. Rich and plenty of boost today, just what I needed. Great space for working on a laptop though not ideal if you're planning a Zoom conference as there's a good bit of background. But this is a coffee shop and not an office, so that's to be expected. I love the retro vibe of this coffee shop. Theres several chairs and tables that look straight out of the 60s and 70s. Grandma chic. When I visited there were several individuals working and studying. A cozy spot with local art. They offer a few gluten free treats and the blueberry cookie I got was worth every penny. I enjoyed an orange cappuccino thingy that was very flavorful. There is street parking, but pay attention to the signs as there's certain places you can and cannot park. read more

They had antique tables I actually felt I was at a grandmas house. I loved that feeling. The service was fast and the coffee was really good. The folks here are very friendly which kicks the experience off on a strong foot. You'll find a variety of coffee bags and swag for purchase as soon as you enter the door. We ended up here after my husband watched several of their espresso/coffee videos online and then realized they were located in Louisville. It was later in the day during our visit so I opted for the ginger lime tea (very zingy) and he opted for a latte. They offer a handful of drip and espresso options along with their own baked goods like an everything biscuit and blueberry Bourbon biscuit. The space reminds me of coffee shops in the late 90s/ early 2000s (ya know, like the coffee shop on friends)- a little grunge, no frills, vintage furniture, etc. my only complaint was that the bathroom could use some tlc in the tidiness department. Overall, a fun and cozy coffee shop worth a visit (note that they have several locations around town). read more

They make the best coffee in town--perhaps even in the country. However, I'm giving only two stars, and here's why: The cashiers handle cash and then prepare coffee without washing their hands. While this is common in many places, it's still not ideal. Additionally, during my last visit, I noticed an uncomfortable workplace dynamic. A male barista was repeatedly getting too close to his female colleague and making jokes she seemed unwilling to engage with. While it hadn't escalated, it was concerning enough that I wouldn't want to witness or be around such behavior. Women should feel completely comfortable in their workplaces. Because of this, I maybe choosing their other locations, but not this one. read more

I traveled in from out of town and purposefully sought out a local coffee shop vs a large chain. This was a quaint shop that worked well for my remote working afternoon. I'm not sure how the wifi works but a code is required, I linked into my hotspot and didn't inquire about it. Parking is on street only and seemed plentiful. Hand hand made in Florence Italy, it is to espresso what Sophia Loren is to beauty...although she is from Rome. Very welcoming staff, charming and comfortable inside. Great little local coffee shop. We headed to the area to get a pastry from a nearby bakery. We took our pastry to Sunergos to enjoy it with a fresh cup of coffee and a cold glass of milk for my hubby. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking and a great barista the day we visited. I like sweet coffee drinks and she made me a caramel latte in a real cup at my request. I so don't like to drink my coffee from a paper cup. It was hot and delicious. My husband wanted milk with his pastry so we had our drinks and pastry and sat outside and enjoyed the coffee and the atmosphere. One of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. They are dedicated to the craft and not the mass production of coffee cups going out the drive through window. I've watched them pour out 4 or 5 shots of espresso while they calibrate for a new batch of beans. Pretty good coffee! I got a regular coffee with almond milk. Yum! I've been to another location but never to this one. It's popular for college students, families, etc. It was loud and very busy here when I came around 11am on a Saturday. We stuck around til almost 1 and it was still very busy! I saw a few people trying to study and read. Not sure how they could focus with all the noise. Some of them eventually left. The space isn't super large and the tables and chairs seemed a bit close to each other. The walls are painted a toned down yellow while the ceiling is a dark brown. Lots of greenery with plants all over though! There's outside seating. Not so great on a cold day though. Service was great! The baristas are nice and smiley. We ate our donuts from Nord's in here as well. Many people did so that was cool. I saw customers go back and forth between both here and Nord's. Parking is parallel. Not sure if I'll be back since I'm not usually in this area of town. It's a great place for hipsters though! read more

This Sunergos Coffee shop is continently located next to Nord's Bakery. I will occasionally stop in to this Sunergos Coffee before or after I go to Nords. I love a good Black and White Mocha and they make a delicious one. The staff at this Sunergos Coffee are very friendly and always smiling. I rarely wait long while they are making my drinks here. I love the latte art that they put on the top of every drink. Parking can get tricky on the street with it being in a neighborhood & having busy Nords close by. The inside of this coffee shop has a small area with different seating options. I do see a lot of people inside working or studying. When I make my stop here it's a grab and go for me. I made a collection of cool places to stop on my road trip from Atlanta to Detroit, and I'm happy that I added Sunergos! I visited on the fourth of July and the shop was pretty empty. I actually messaged the shop on IG beforehand to make sure they were going to be open, and they answered really quickly! The menu is very typical of a craft coffee shop. There are tons of cute mugs and tumblers with the Sunergos logo on them, and lots of coffee making equipment. I purchased a half gallon of cold brew concentrate, which might have been my best idea of the entire trip! Interestingly enough, it's shelf stable and did not need to be refrigerated on my trip back! It cost $30, which i a great price for a HALF GALLON of concentrate. This will probably make 15 coffee drinks for me, and I am more than happy to support a small business from afar. My current obsession is a cafe con miel, which the baristas made expertly! Sweetened with just honey and cinnamon, this espresso drink is my swan song of summer 2020. It's a delicate balance - it can either be way too sweet or not sweet enough. Sunergos got it just right! I ordered it decaf and the espresso tasted just as good as normal. The staff was very friendly. They offer some light fare, but not much by way of substantial food. And that's just fine! Give this place a try! read more
