I was waiting in the lobby for 25 minutes because I found a set of keys from a JCPS teacher and I wanted to let her know that her keys are going to be behind the counter safe and sound and she can have a stress-free day The manager with the black hair and the seven piercings on her face or whatever is completely unprofessional and rude tried to put her position of power into play doing the most. We were not disruptive. We were not creating a scene. We were not doing anything. It was just me and another individual having a casual conversation. We asked for a blended strawberry açaí with vanilla cold foam. It wasn't blended and it was frozen. They spelt my name wrong I said it was Hallie, but they spelt it Kailee. Completely wrong. I don't often go to Starbucks but, when I do I go with a Frappe. I'm not too big on their coffee but I do like their Frappes. Just the right amount of Sugar for me. This location is ok near Cardinal stadium, I expected it to be busy but it wasn't very busy. I didn't have to wait very long for my drink which is a plus. I will say this (Java Chip Frappe) is probably one of their very best tasting Frappes. The real kicker here was their bathroom was in disarray. Now this location you don't have to have a code to get in like the other locations but, I think they may need to consider that. I used the restroom as fast as I could and got out. All in all I left happy with a tasty frappe. I'll be back but, don't think I'll be using the restroom here. My advice, avoid the restrooms. read more

I ordered my two drinks ahead of time and they were waiting for me upon my arrival. I thanked the busy baristas and walked out. My Grande White Chocolate Mocha was $4.75. The Grande Pink Drink (a new one for me) is usually $4.45, but the HHBOGOHCBEVERAGE discount took $4.45 off of the bill. Good drinks + good price = happy me. read more

I stopped in here for a pick-me-up Frappuccino after walking Iroquois. I honestly forgot there was a Starbucks in the Kroger or I would have just grabbed my drink while shopping. There were about 4 cars in front of me when I pulled into the drive thru. I sat in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes, which seemed a bit excessive. When I got to the drive thru window, I had to remind the barista 3 separate times what my drink was. Each time, I was asked what I was waiting on. The store wasn't too busy so I'm not sure why there was such a delay in the drive thru. I'm also not sure why there was such confusion about orders. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with my experience and in the future, I'll be sure to go to the Starbucks in Kroger rather than waiting in the drive thru. This Starbucks is located in Shepardsville off of Interstate 65 exit 117. Im sure you can see by my history that I frequent it VERY OFTEN and that is because they have their stuff together. It doesn't matter what time of day Ive gone the baristas are all in a great mood. Most of the time I use the drive-thru but am always greeted in such an awesome way. Half the time they recognize my voice and theirs as well! Go figure! When I pull around to pay, Im greeted with a smile and even complimented on whatever hairstyle Im sporting, nails and jewelry! I would suggest when you leave that instead of exiting left and trying to cross over 2 lanes of busy traffic to get back onto the interstate, hang a right and follow the road around the curve where you will make a left at 2 stop signs and at the light. Its just so much easier, safer and saves on dry cleaning if you happen to have to break quickly to avoid a fast moving vehicle! read more

Service here is always good. Super busy location near The University of Louisville. I meet here from time to time for quick meetings. It can get somewhat loud. There are not any tables that hold more than 6 people. Seating is limited at busy times. There is outside seating here that helps. It is not uncommon to have homeless people hanging around in parking lot. Mobile orders are usually on time, but you have to ask for them because they hold them behind the counter. Order counter can back up at times too. Parking is also pretty busy and limited at times. Also when there are large conventions at fair & expo center this store is even busier. The closing manger who is a slim blonde guy was talking on his cellphone with one hand in her shirt touching his stomach-gross. My drink was made incorrectly as they ran out of an ingredient and forgot to put whip cream on. My next visit my drink was made correctly. Third day I ordered a mango dragon fruit lemonade (mobile order) and was given a lemonade because they ran out of the dragon fruit pieces and other ingredients. I told the girl I was just charged $5 for a lemonade and she didn't care and walked away. They close early everyday even though their hours say later online. Debating on finding a different Starbucks to go to who can actually be friendly. read more

For the most part, it's what you'd expect from a Starbucks. The drinks here are typical of other locations in the way they are made. The baristas here all do a great job of making your beverage, so there's nothing to worry about there. And if you say "surprise me," they are always able to come up with something delicious (I do this often since I live just around the corner). Unfortunately for this location, I think the layout is a little... off. It's small, but that isn't really the problem. Because of the drive thru, the cash register and all of that is the entire left side as you walk in. It makes for an awkward standing area while waiting for your drinks- not wanting to block the door and not wanting to appear to be standing in line. The thing about this Starbucks that I love the most is the workers. I've been frequenting this location for the past four years and every employee has greeted me with a warm smile and friendly conversation. They treat everyone who walks through the door as if they're a regular. During the summer my roommates and I would go on walks with our dog and when we would stop by Starbucks, they were always excited to provide us with a "pup cup" (small cup full of whipped cream). Honestly, I'd give just about any Starbucks three stars. This one gets the fourth star because of the employees. read more

i usually go to this starbucks, since its the closest to my house. i went today about 30 minutes before closing time (i work night shifts so i do this pretty often), no one else was in the drive thru line & i had to wait about 5 minutes before someone even said anything over the speaker. i pulled up to the window, got my drink & put it in my cupholder to drive home. when i got to work (a 7 minute drive) i realized that my drink felt a little light so i opened the cup to realize that my $6 grande drink should have been charged as a tall. they only filled my cup about halfway. this is the only time it has happened but when you work night shifts you depend on your coffee. read more

Typical Starbucks franchise, but I am glad they made my java chip frappucino a real signature. The great thing about this place was the location, just across Jim Patterson Stadium which was definitely a plus. Being able to park across and walk to the stadium for a quick tourist shot was very convenient. If you missed the slugger museum, the stadium got the right size baseball bats not one gigantic bat but three perfect size bats. The place was not too crowded for a Saturday which was surprising but I love it. The only draw back was, the cashier wasn't as enthusiastic compare to the other Starbucks place that I been too. But maybe one of those slow weekend or bad hair day or crappy day or mood swings. read more

Great Starbucks location that features fun & friendly baristas, quick service and fabulous drinks. We visited once (sometimes twice) a day while we were in the area for a show. Drinks and breakfast took only a few minutes to prepare and we were on the way. I tend to expect some conformity when it come to orders at Starbucks. The service was impersonal and ththe girl taking my order barely even looked at me. I ordered the Strawberry Smoothie. Each time I have order this, no matter which state I am in, it comes with whipped cream on it (by defult, not needing to ask), so I was already a little disappointed.
