Dirty Ube coffee and Caramel Coffee
Janan S.

Transport to a beautiful world with Nepalese influence. The ambiance is cozy, bright, clean, and calm. Love this coffee shop every time we have visited. The avocado toast is 10/10 and extra large and each of their coffee concoctions are stunning as well as an amazing treat.

Absolutely enjoy going here for their matcha creations & their sandwich was simply delicious! In the photo is ube w/ matcha if you're wanting more of a mellow flavor

My beautiful paper coffee cup containing my cortado. The cup was good quality too, no leaks!

I discovered this charming coffee shop today with pretty decorations. My barista was polite and friendly. There were a variety of standard and unique options. I ordered a cortado to go, and it came in a beautifully designed paper cup that I have not seen before among the numerous coffee shops I have visited over many years. The cup was good quality too, no leaks. I recommend stopping in and supporting this business.

Grilled cheese

I went and tried phalcha again because I wanted to try the pistachio waffle on a sick and the grilled cheese. I really liked the pistachio waffle on a stick but it was slightly too nutty for my taste and I preferred the strawberry one more. The grilled cheese was good and it came with a sweet and kind of spicy dipping sauce. The sauce was really good and it had little chilly flakes in it which I really liked. As far as grilled cheeses go it was good, nothing super special but I'd get it again.

Excellent! I was so excited to see a Phalcha open up near my house! The specialty matchas here are EXCELLENT (strawberry or ube you can't go wrong). Sandwich was pretty filling and tasted great. My neighborhood had an Internet outage so I drove over to "work from home" and I found the atmosphere to be great to work in. I sat upstairs which is nicely tucked away, and features a shoeless rest area with pillows for premium relaxation. I didn't see many wall plugs so come with a full battery! Overall, phenomenal coffeehouse experience. I'm excited to see Phalcha grow!

Latte and avocado toast

This place is exactly what you think, cute instagram-able menu with lots of nooks and tables to dine at, neon signs, and cute decor! The coffee and food items are also so so tasty! Very busy typically but the service is quick and friendly. We tried the pistachio waffle and avocado toast and it was the perfect combo of sweet and savory. The black sesame latte was delicious too, but you have to add caffeine if you want that. Perfect morning meet up spot to sit and enjoy.

I met up with a friend at the newest location of this coffee house. It is really adorable and welcoming as you come in. There is plenty of seating especially at the windows you can people watch in Saint Matthews. The menu is extensive and they have incredible flights of coffee for the holidays. I actually got something off the seasonal menu which was a hot chocolate. My order was timely and so beautifully displayed. We went upstairs to actually have our coffee which was a great way to enjoy the space and enjoy our beverages. I would love to come back to get a flight and some food and I really appreciated the Japanese style table where you could sit on the floor with cushions.

Cute place to meet with friends and have a drink. I love ube lattes which is why I wanted to visit. We got the ube matcha and a regular latte as well. The interior is playful with a Thai motorcycle as a table and a chandelier on the ceiling. Friendly staff answered our questions and there is a variety of seasonal drinks. Convenient location, two story interior and unique drinks make Phalcha a great gathering spot.

Butter bliss latte and work space

My absolute favorite coffee shop and workspace in town. Sometimes you have to compromise on finding a good place to work AND get food/coffee but Phalcha is perfect for both. Baristas give great recommendations, are super attentive to the shop, and are so warm and welcoming. Sometimes it can get a little loud or overwhelming depending on the time and day you go but I bring noise reducing headphones for when I'm doing my own work. I love the vibe here and how cozy and homey it feels which is probably why I tend to return at least once a week.

Had the sweetest bridal shower at this adorable coffee shop. Coffee flights, ube, melted marshmallows and more are waiting for you. Make this your next coffee stop the next time you're in Louisville, KY. It was the perfect place for a bridal shower as they have a great upstairs space. I look forward coming back soon :)

Butter Bliss Latte

The butter bliss is my go-to here! Always tasty and too notch service. On the weekends it can gets very busy, but during the weekdays it's full but not impossible to find a seat. It's a great spot for working (no meetings since theres music) or catching up with friends. Love the decor too!

Witches Brew Coffee

Witches Brew Coffee

I recently stopped by Witches Brew Coffee, and it was definitely a unique experience. The whole…read moreplace is themed around witches, and you can tell they have really committed to it. The walls and every corner are filled with witch-related artwork, decorations, and even merchandise. It's fun to look around because there's something interesting everywhere you turn. The coffee itself was pretty standard, nothing particularly standout, but the atmosphere is really what makes this place special. If you enjoy spooky or Halloween-style vibes, you'll probably love it here. They also offer free Wi-Fi, so it could be a good spot for studying or getting some work done. Personally, I found the ambiance a bit too spooky for focusing, especially at night. I am just not a big fan of that kind of setting (haha). Overall, it was a good experience and definitely memorable in its own way. I can see why people would really enjoy it, so I'm giving it 5 stars! And server was very nice.

Fun atmosphere, nice staff, excellent coffee!…read more Obviously, the draw is the unique, witchy ambiance. You can't miss the bright purple building. Inside, it's pretty cozy with plenty of seating. There are more tables than I was expecting as well as a couple of plush velvet wingbacks and even a pair of pews to accommodate patrons. The menu had quite a few interesting options, but I went with Envy from the Seven Deadly Sins selection. Smelled and tasted great! Reasonably priced as well. There are also pastries and sweets to snack on as well as some local arts and witchy herbs and crystals. I really enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable space and reading with low music in the background and a steady stream of people picking up their brew.

This is not a place we regularly visit, although maybe we should. Our experiences have always been great and have no complaints during all of our visits. It is a nice quaint little place just off Grinstead Drive. The space here is decent and seating can be limited depending how busy they are. It's like being in someone else's home while feeling at home at the same time. They have seasonal menus like most local coffee shops do. I love their winter drinks where you get a small butter cookie and you can dunk it in the drink. Staff is always wonderful here and welcoming. We do love Fante's and plan to come back again, maybe not wait a year at a time.

This coffee shop is so stinking cute. They have coffees, smoothies, scrumptious looking baked goods and so much more. The baristas were so friendly and the vibe was just spot on for me. They had the best decor. You could tell they take pride in their coffee roasting. The place smelled amazing before you even walked in the door. I did purchase some Mexican coffee beans and the barista was so sweet asking me if I needed any information about the different kinds of bean. If it hadn't been closing time, I probably would've. I hated to keep them any longer than we already had. I got a vanilla latte and my friend got a smoothie with whipped cream. My vanilla latte was amazing. And I will admit I did have to open up my bag of coffee beans and grind a cup up and it was so so delicious. So the moral of the story is people don't pass by this place stop walk and get a phenomenal coffee and whatever you want and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Don't let this place pass you by like I did.

Don't get me wrong; everything was good, but it didn't live up to what everyone was saying. The location is great. It's on the corner of Frankfort and Clifton. I like all the windows and the chill vibe. It's seat yourself, but they do table service. We got empanadas: beef, chicken, and ham & cheese. They're great--just like the ones at Classico Takeout and Empanadas. They were out of the entree we wanted so we got the salmon. It was pretty good. My biggest disappointment was the pizza. Several people recommended the spicy Thai shrimp pizza. It was just okay. I did not taste any Thai flavor. It was basically a cheese pizza with diced shrimp and a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I didn't care for the crust either. It ended up being a $70 dinner that was just okay. If we go back, it'll probably be for the empanadas or fries. It seemed like almost every table got the pomme frites so they must be good.

She offered recommendations when we were indecisive, and made sure each customization was executed accurately. The food: unpredictable. Let me explain: I ordered the gazpacho and the ensalada fresca. Both come with a hearty slice of Blue Dog crusty sourdough. Gazpacho: one million stars. SO delicious - flavor is spot on, with incredibly creamy texture for a vegan soup. Salad: not bad, but didn't blow me away. The greens were tasty, and the few tangerine slices and pine nuts scattered on top added a nice depth. The balsamic dressing was also pleasant. As a whole though, I felt something was missing. Maybe a crunchy or warm element? For a $15 dinner salad I expected more. The pricing: a little steep. I understand the goal is to provide elevated European cuisine, however for the quality and quantity I didn't feel the salad was worth it. That said, I would gladly pay $4.50 all day long for that gazpacho. Overall I appreciate the variety of options, especially vegan and vegetarian menu items. I would consider a return visit for the gazpacho for sure, however the issues above merit shoring up.
