Word. The bacon cheddar chive scone is spectacular. I am not over playing this. From the crunch of the bottom to the layers and lamination this scone was the best mouth feel and taste of my life. The coffee was also excellent, I got a large latte (my go to when I try out a new spot). The place is bright and clean and will certainly be in my rotation!

Elixir specializes in mushroom coffee and other healthy tonics. And I was able to chat with the owner for a bit about his business and passion behind it. It's clear he is very knowledgeable. He was eager to take me through the menu. And I ended up getting a caffeine-free chai latte, that was perfectly sweet and hit the spot. This spot has blends you can buy and take home. I also like how this business seeks to give people an alternative to bars, when you want to get out, sip on something, but be careful about it. This is definitely worth a visit to learn more.

I enjoyed a calming cup of tea, tempted to chill on their retro couch and pull tarot cards (they had a 'Dark Crystal' tarot deck out for guests to use!), but I sat by the window, surrounded by plants, and people-watched on and off as I worked a little. After an hour - yes - tarot time! An added perk is its attachment to Eggs Over Frankfort. The staff in the cafe, who was very sweet and helpful, let me know I can order food from them and still enjoy their cafe! I will definitely be back for a drink with Crescent Hill, then a meal from next door. I absolutely love the openness of working together, both uplifting each other, and therefore uplifting the community. This is what I love about living in Louisville.

Coffee..... Shall we get the day going!!!…read more This is a local coffee place here. I'm going to give you the best of the coffee and matcha so far.... Now the matcha here is just wonderful. They have a great recipe and no sugar. Now you can choose to have an extra whatever to your matcha cup. Truly they make all sorts of concoctions here. They are considered to be above average for the area. All the decor details are relatively different per location. This is more of a general idea of coffee and the fact that we can all be inclusive and friendly here at one place. No hate here. I love the motto and theory of coffee surrounding love. The adornment of the establishment is crazy for comfort and happiness. You are inspired to be in one of these places. Love the place to just relax and gather my thoughts. The individuals that are making and serving the coffee here are truly inspiring. They have created this community and space for us to gather and connect. The best of things come together when people use kindness in the universe. This is a great little opportunity to connect and have coffee. They have good food too. It's more a grab and hold it . But the muffins here call my name. Now today, that muffin has my name on it, so let's get started. The matcha is great. The staff so sweet to hear them as the days passes. Come and see how a little calm and relaxed love will help you feel even better. Love and kindness are the ways here with caffeine! Oh my goodness! Let's go!

I parked and walked in to see a huge place with lots of seats. You walk to the right to the counter via lots of for sale items. It was the oddest coffee shop I have ever been in. I order a caramel latte, and a meatloaf sandwich. I walked to the bathroom which they only had one for this large place but it was clean. They brought out my latte as I was walking around looking at things, so I sat down and wow it was super tasty. Even had a little Biscoff biscuit with it. The sandwich came out shortly afterwards. It was good but not great. But the potato salad was very good. I would come back just for the latte, but would try other food items. Maybe the meatloaf just need more sauce or something. Not sure. It just wasn't doing it for me today. The pastries looked very good and can't wait to try one or more. Odd I never selected done on this review and I have been back again for a hot vanilla latte and a meatloaf sandwich again. Just as yummy as my last visit, I also got potato salad which was very good. I will be back again. Such tasty food and coffees.
