The matcha ordering has pairings with and without sugar. If you feel the need a lemonade refresher might make the difference on a humid day. The posted opening hour at six is great if all the staff would arrive at that time. One young lady was bombarded with customers while one girl drifted in 8 mins late then proceeded to delay even further by chatting with an older gentleman whom must be a regular. I was shocked when she told him she was glad to see him abd he wasn't dead. (yes, tacky) Try the iced peach cobbler. Pretty good! read more

I was driving by and wanted to grab a nice warm beverage for the gloomy drive and saw this place. I got a Starlight latte - local honey espresso cinnamon with extra hot oat milk. Not very busy inside and none so they got right to working in mine and there was no wait really aside from them actually making it. Everyone was friendly and quick. read more

Cute cafe, I stopped here on the start of a road trip. I got a cafe au lait with oat milk and a lemon poppyseed muffin. I was there pretty early, definitely before 9, so I was surprised to find my muffin was stale. I'm sure they arent making any of the food in house so I cant blame the location too much, but it was a bummer. Drink was OK, had a slight aftertaste that I could not put my finger on. Did I order wrong? Off day? Not sure but maybe I will try a second time to see if anything improves. read more

I have been buying my coffee at starlight coffee Company at Highlander point for about three years. The coffee is great but here the past couple months my coffee has not been hot. I went back and told them it wasn't hot and they exchange it for a hot cup, but a couple of times, I've drove off and didn't taste it until I got down the road and it was not hot, I hate to go someplace else because the other guy does sell nice hot coffee. Maybe they need some more warmers to warm their coffee. read more

One of my favorite stops to make while over in Southern Indiana. I grew up going to Beam street and it's been super awesome watching it grow over the years. I ordered an Iced pumpkin spice breve because why not treat yourself when you stop by here only a handful of times through out the year now. That and who doesn't love a taste of fall. I know I do even though I don't want summer to come to an end. But back to the coffee shop. The service is amazing. I've never had an issue and the baristas never give me that you seriously want pumpkin spice it isn't even fall yet look. They are super knowledgeable and have awesome recommendations. The lattes are a little bit sweeter compared to shops such as Heine Brothers. But still yummy. Bonus points for having pumpkin spice year round! Totally worth checking out this local coffee shop. Their coffee is really delicious and one of the best coffee houses around. However; it is really frustrating when there are other customers standing around and the barista ask "Do you wanna leave a tip"...I understand they live off tips but that's inappropriate. Maybe try approaching it like "So you can leave it's totally optional-but you don't have to". Leaving a tip is optional. Not mandatory. And asking for one is highly suggestive and quite entitled and it honestly makes me want to stop coming there. read more

We live in SC, and always stop here when coming to Indiana. Since our first visit, they have always been so nice and accommodating. No matter what we have an itch for, they will make it. The coffee is top notch. No way I would drink anything but Bean Street if I lived within 30 minutes of here. read more

Bean Street is the kind of coffee shop you look your whole life for. People that complain about not having "stellar coffee" are insane! The coffee is great but it's the atmosphere that makes this place shine. It's cozy and the baristas make you feel at home. There are many regulars and it's a popular study spot for local college students and high schoolers alike. It's the perfect place to meet an old friend or come and enjoy time to yourself. The Coffee is really great and all the baristas are super friendly. However it is very inappropriate like another reviewer posted for the workers to ask you every single time you make a purchase if you want to leave a tip. I am sure that it discourages people from stopping by more often. I see that there is a promt on their register when you pay. But honestly they should just click "no" unless the customer tells you on their own they want to leave a tip. This needs to be handled by management. I can see that it is also uncomfortable for them to ask. They say things like "it's totally up to you" "it's fine if you don't" etc. please just stop making them ask and leave it up to the customer to decide if they want to or not. read more

Honestly, if this was the only coffee shop around I would probably give it a higher rating, because it's not really bad... it's just that the neighboring coffee shops are better. I come here because it's close to home. The coffee is average, nothing to brag about. I question the freshness and quality of their pastries sometimes, but I can't say it's terrible. If you get a chance to stop in and enjoy a cup you should. I found this place when Starbucks wasn't an option. And now this is my favorite cozy place to enjoy a cup of coffee. They have a drive thru if you are in a hurry but I prefer sitting and enjoying my drink inside on one of their comfy chairs.
