Well it took 3 months but they finally replaced the cover. Truth be told, most of the problem was with the supplier that provided the cover to Sunbelt. I purchased my sunbelt spa used from a friend of a co-worker. The spa is about 4 years old & runs great. The staff at Sunbelt Spas has been so helpful teaching me how to use it. I come back every few months to get chemicals. Today I needed to replace the cover. I ordered it over the phone and it arrived a week sooner than expected which was great. I don't understand the negative reviews on here. The customer service has been wonderful. Today when I picked up the spa cover I realized I ordered the wrong color. They just happened to have the right color in stock so they exchanged it & helped me load it in my CRV (which was no easy task). I prefer to buy my supplies here instead of Leslie's Pool & Spa because of the customer service. Keep up the great job!! read more

The wife and I were shopping around Houston for spas and came across Sunbelt Hot Tubs/Spas in Houston. We dropped by their facility and looked at some of the units they had on display. Then we drove to 3-4 other spa dealers around town and in Katy. A week later we returned to Sunbelt Spas and worked out a deal with Chris. Chris was very helpful and patient explaining all the details of the various spas. They also manufacture the spas right there in the facility on Dunvale. Chris took us on a tour of the manufacturing floor and explained each step in the manufacturing process. Was interesting to see the spas in various stages of the build process and to see how they were constructed and the materials used. In the end purchasing from Sunbelt was a no brainer for us. Best pricing, excellent customer care, and the delivery and installation went without any issues. We purchased their Typhoon model. Love the spa and expect many years of enjoyment ahead. read more

I ran into some issues while replacing one of the pumps on my Sunbelt Spa so I gave them a call to see if they could offer some guidance on how I should proceed. Michael got on the phone and walked me through what needed to be done. I ended up creating some additional problems for myself by crossing some wires but Michael stuck with me to the end. I wish we had the same level of service from our pool builder that I have gotten from Sunbelt. They are the best! read more

My husband contracted with Sunbelt Spas for the manufacture and delivery of a custom built spa on May 16, 2018 with anticipated delivery within 4 - 6 weeks as confirmed by the invoice; my husband was to be responsible for installation and therefore acceptance of delivery required that he have a crew available. In other words delivery just meant a truck bringing it to our residence and my husband and his crew would be responsible from that point. Such delivery was not made within the 4- 6 weeks anticipated. After communications with Sunbelt, delivery was scheduled for August 24, 2018. No delivery was made nor communication received that date regarding the delivery. Another round of communication with Sunbelt was instituted - they blamed the delivery company (Central Freight). Central Freight said they had to have instructions from Sunbelt. Ultimately delivery was rescheduled for Monday, October 1, 2018, with a 2-hour notice to allow my husband to have his crew ready for delivery (it required the use of heavy equipment). My husband and his crew were in place. No delivery was attempted and no communication regarding same was received. We are out in excess of $6,000 we paid for the spa, two days of my husband's time, and the crew's time. The spa was needed for therapeutic purposes and was needed. Sunbelt Spas customer services is a joke. read more

We bought a Sunbelt spa in Colorado and had to call their headquarters in Houston for some technical support. We are new spa owners but that did not matter because of the excellent service we received. Sunbelt's main technical advisor spent 45 minutes on the phone talking us through start up and set up procedures. He was very helpful and professional and was willing to answer any questions we had now and in the future. Very rare to find such great service! In the midst of being treated horribly, this business suddenly changed hands and Mr. Dennis Rojas became the owner and assumed full leadership and took total responsibility for any issues I had incurred under the previous management. He went above and beyond to correct any and all issues and to confirm I was satisfied with my purchase and that it was functioning at expected or above performance levels. He has implemented new designs, and utilized improved parts to make the spas going out under his watch both reliable, affordable and something to take pride of ownership in. He took over a business that was slipping in it's quality control and poor customer service and made it his mission to create a business that tales pride in the products it produces and insuring that every customer is satisfied. If that was not a big enough hurdle, his business was hit by Hurricane Harvey at the end of 2017 and not even that could stop him from building a better business model. I wish him much success and appreciate him taking a very negative situation and making me a very satisfied customer. read more

Bought a house with Sunbelt spa. Called on Saturday and said I had questions about the spa and was immediately told service and parts dept isn't open on Saturdays. Told them I didn't need service or parts and was looking for a owners manual download. Was again immediately shutdown and told that I needed to call the service and parts department on Monday and hung up on. So I called on Monday and asked to be connected to the service department. They asked for my name and number and said I'd receive a call back. A week later and still no call. Now I'm sitting here without a working spa, no owners manual, and still have questions. Maybe I'll drain this thing and drag it out to the country and pop a few AR rounds into it, burn it to the ground, and then post a YouTube video of how to make this inferior product useful. Poor product, rude customer service and false expectations from the company. A trifecta of poor quality and customer service. Just wish ZERO stars were an option. read more

We bought a spa from Sunbelt and they sold it wonderfully but the customer service for repairs leaves a lot to be desired. They said they would have no problem servicing our spa but no one answers your phone calls or e-mail. The only way to get anyone out to repair the spa is to threaten them. I purchased Sunbelt spa in 2011 and I will never buy anything from this company again. The spa start liking in 2 years. I called to set up appointment with technician and he fixed it but in 3 month the problem with liking started again. I had problem with heating element twice, light broke another time. The technician came over first time and the warranty covered the cost to fix it but other 2 times I had to pay significant amount $300.00 plus but it last no more than couple month. I stopped using their technician. I purchase the spa thinking that local company and made in America guaranty the quality of the product but it is not the case. I purchase a headache. I will not recommend the spa to anyone. My previous spa was made in Canada and I had it for more then 10 years without any issues. read more

From the moment I walked in the Houston showroom door their smiling secretary, Bob, Chris and Craig were there to help! I came with a problem that all my Sunbelt hot tub jets were needing replaced, but I had no idea of what jet styles to ask for. I brought the bag in of my pieces but not all the pieces. They researched my make and model and got me all the jets (ones they didn't have they arranged mailing) I needed. While I waited they offered me cold water, nice touch! It was the extra friendly professional service that bumped my rating from average to exceptional...addition to the sale, they took time to educate me on how to install the jets myself, chemical change that was needed from chlorine to bromide and I got super customer service. I was in and out within an hour. Honestly I was scared from the other ratings what I was getting into...I found them completely opposite of 1-star and I find it hard to believe they would not help customers to the best of their ability...I could not have asked for a better experience! read more

We purchased a Hurricane Spa from F.I.M. on August 23, 2010. Shortly after (December 2010) the spa became inoperable due to a flaw in the motor. The spa over heated and all of the jets broke, the insulation bubbled, the acrylic is cracking and it also started to leak in 3 areas. We called F.I.M. & Sunbelt for service. The service man called us and set 8 appointments but never showed for even 1. He gave us many excuses as to why he didn't show for appointments: 1. Parts were not sent to him, 2. wrong parts were shipped, 3. He was on vacation, 4. he was too busy and this is his second job. After several calls and complaints to both F.I.M. & Sunbelt the service man finally showed in August 2011. The repair man informed us that the spa was so damaged that we needed to replace the spa. We called F.I.M. and they informed us that Sunbelt needs to replace the spa and they were not responsible. We then called Sunbelt we were advised that F.I.M. was responsible for replacing it. Sunbelt states that the service man works for F.I.M. and F.I.M. stated that the service man works for Sunbelt. Sunbelt gave us an option of shipping the spa back to them at our cost and pay for shipping for the spa to return to us. After calling a few shipping companies to determine the cost to do so, turns out that it would cost almost as much as purchasing another spa brand new. This is very unreasonable to ask a customer to do this. We asked that parts be sent to us so we may try to repair the spa ourselves and was told parts would be shipped ASAP. That was 4 weeks ago and still no parts. Big surprise there!!! read more

Bought a house with a Sunbelt Hot tub. The owner did not leave behind the drain attachment so I had to go and buy one from their store in Houston. I asked the person for the part and he said it would be $250. It's a small plastic piece that opens the drain and attaches to a hose. He was not joking about the price. after about 5 minutes of him being totally serious about wanting that outrageous amount of money, he charged me $15. he went to another worker and got change.
