I have been going here for years. I started off on the regular beds but now have found the matrix tanning bed and I am loyal to it! It's a quick tan and gets you beach ready fast (about 4 tans). I have not been here since last year and did one tan and here are my results!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the second time the young woman who works there provided really bad, rude service. There will not be a third chance for poor quality service - not going back! I observed her (mask down) having a long conversation with a customer who was not wearing a mask at all - the employee never asked the customer to put on a mask and when I inquired why they were not enforcing the mask rule for indoor public spaces and businesses, I was told: "you're not my boss, I don't work for you - you can't tell me what to do" in a surly and downright challenging tone. And when I mentioned it was the law, she said I couldn't intimidate her and "what are you gonna do about it". Well, I can write a review and help other people to avoid being treated rudely and encountering dangerous non-compliance with public health requirements - such as wearing a face mask indoors. I honestly don't know why this place has three stars. I went here yesterday. The lady that worked there showed me all the beds and all the different levels that they do. She was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable signing up for a six month membership at $33/month. This place is a lot cheaper than any other tanning places that I have been to. I was asked for a forty dollar deposit before the appointment... I was "scheduled" for a 10 o clock appointment with Danyelle, I Showed up to sun your buns located at 914 s main in Salinas Ca I waited 30 minutes then continued to call and text her to see if she was arriving after another 1 hr no one showed up I then came on to yelp to read the reviews that she tends to not show up and push appointments back. I immediately requested my refund and did not receive any text or call back. Being new to the area I didn't want to be scammed so I called the police, fortunately I was able to be helped and made a report regarding the issue. I ordered through groupon and was so excited because im going on vacation in a few days and my legs are so white they never see the sun. I went in and the lady at the front desk was very nice and explained everything quiet well however after the spray tan I looked exactly the same no difference at all. I got dressed and went back to the front counter to talk to the lady that had first helped me.... she was gone and another lady was there and I told her that I was exactly the same as before and even showed her my leg as proof. I asked what I should do because I needed this before I went on vacation on Monday. she said I would have to come back another day and pay for another session. I don't know how that machine works or they have the ability to adjust it or not but I feel like because I had a coupon that discounted the spray tan it may have been a reason why I dint get the results I should have. that's my opinion I will not go there again white legs read more

The place is okay, somewhat pricey. A few girls i know have gone here and all had the same complaints, the man that works there is really creepy but he does know his stuff. He just gave me the creeps, he was very touchy and stared a lot, he made some awkward comments. i would definitely not recommend this place. read more

This place has a new owner but the service isn't any better. They close early every day, the lady who works in the evening locks the door at 6:30 when they close at 7:30 and not let you in. If you happen to get there at 7:00pm she will tell you that you can only tan for ten minutes. The owners needs to get employees who will work their entire shift. When you try call she does not answer the phone. I see no future for this business. If you want to stay in business try staying open your advertised hours. Think of your customers first. Think about extending your hours, if not your business will continue to fail. Quit taking clients money and slamming the door in their faces. Stay open and save your business. read more

I was skeptical about the place due to the reviews it has. The tanning salon I used to go closed, and I have a wedding in two weeks. I went in during my lunch. The outside does not look too inviting! I opened the door and as soon as I walked in the place looked decent with no smelly odors. I continued and everything seemed clean and put together. I was greeted by an employee. I told her this is my first time here and I would like more information. She then explain the packages available and showed me around. I felt comfortable with her. I asked as many questions as I could and she seemed to know what she was talking about. She also told me about others services that are available from her renters (lash extensions and makeup). Overall I had a good experience. I will follow up on my review once I start tanning. read more

I used to tan here until the older lady that works there would start speaking Spanish to her friends, thinking I wouldn't understand what she was saying because I'm Caucasian.
