Was looking to get a spray tan for an upcoming wedding and had heard about this place through a family friend. I scheduled a bridal tan package with Ashley (the owner) and was nervous going in since I've had a bad spray tan before. I told her exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. She gave me a very natural tan, with a clear solution so it doesn't get everywhere, and an express version so I could shower in 3 hours time! It was also very light in odor if at all, which I love as opposed to smelling like burnt food. Ashley was super nice, easy to talk to, and really listens to her customers needs. The shop itself is a little spot in downtown Monterey with decent street parking out front. Can't wait to come back for the big day! read more

I LOVE this place for tans! Absolutely amazing girls all around! Bianca stood out to me, she was super bubbly and interested in me. That always to me makes the experience more personal and enjoyable:) this place is very clean and makes sure you are happy with results. And when I booked with a different girl they had my tan from previous bookings written down which was amazing! read more

Loved my spray tan here! I got exactly the shade that I wanted, and they were so respectful while going through the process of spraying. This was my first time in a long time and they provided plenty of pre and post instructions, and a great smelling coating so I wasn't too sticky. It was a little tricky to find at first, and parking in this area is always a little hit and miss, but their clinic is very cute and private. They even made sure I was warm enough, as it was a very foggy morning! read more

This has to be the best airbrushing/tanning service I've had. Ashley knew exactly what to do in terms of color and her artistry is impeccable! I looked so good! My color was gorgeous and so natural, I will definitely be booking another service! In fact, I just booked one for my next trip. I highly recommend this business, especially the owner Ashley, she made me so happy!! read more

Great customer service, clean, efficient, made me feel very comfortable and most important, my tan turned out great! I called just to see if they had any cancellations and Bianca did so I was able to get over there right away. Thank you for making me look great for family photos for my brother's wedding! read more

100% just book her!! I came here for my wedding and brought my sisters and mom. We all looked incredibly phenomenal. Such a beautiful spray tan and it looked so natural. Everyone faded super well and not patchy. She was so educational about what lotions to use after or avoid. I looked like the tan glowy goddess bride I had wanted and it lasted through my honeymoon as well! My mom is super anti any beauty stuff and she was in love with her spray tan. read more

Ashley is wonderful and truly gifted! I spent hours looking through reviews of different places in order to get a spray tan for a wedding I was going to be in. Her bridal package was fantastic. I had one tan three weeks before the wedding and I was able to see how it's settled, as well as how long it lasted. I had to fly to Seattle for the wedding, so I needed to get the tan four days beforehand and ensure that it would last until the day off. It went flawlessly! The tan was completely natural and looked like I spend all day in the sun without looking fake or orange. Everyone thought it was natural. I highly recommend Ashley as she knows exactly what she's doing and is a pro! read more

I got a spray tan by Ashley and I was not disappointed! The tan did not come out orange at all, she was very quick and efficient. She also explained the after care very well. I highly recommend getting a spray tan nowhere except here. read more

Really surprised to be honest after being given the recommendation and seeing reviews. Saw the owner for the service and noticed a sassy, almost impatient feeling attitude from her in general, from the beginning. Made to feel as if it was my fault for misunderstanding an instruction that was clearly not written on the card I was given for aftercare instructions. The most important detail of all, as a matter of fact. Ended up ruining my bridal tan and having to have it fixed by my make up artist the day of the wedding which was out of state. Instead I was told that the detail I should have known was on her website! Apparently I was expected to cross reference the card I was given upon leaving and go back to the website to compare those instructions? Funny how I thought that was supposed to be for convenience sake. The aftercare card is great- just make sure to include all details - otherwise what's the point? Obviously it's because you can't expect people to remember everything they read on a website. *Meanwhile, this business had a number to call/text with questions stated on the aftercare card but no business hours referenced. I was told to rinse off at 1030 pm since my tan was at 730 pm so I did attempt to get clarification via text. For reference I had not had a spray tan in over a year and was not familiar with this person's products which I did let her know. I was not asked to come in for a correction because the owner knew I was leaving the next day out of state for my wedding and it was too soon to tell what would happen. The point is, at least include the most important instruction if you're going to hand out a general instruction card. read more

Ashley is the sweetest and very accommodating. I love the spray tan colors she provides. I've had the light/medium tan as well as the darker. I absolutely loved both. Very natural and long lasting. No foul odor or strong chemical scent like other tanning solutions. I prefer to do the home sessions. Ashley is very organized and I feel that I get amazing service every time. Definitely my go to for tans. I highly recommend. read more

Great service and staff. Made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. Will definitely be returning.

Ashley at BB Tanning truly exceeds my expectations every time, delivering a tanning experience that leaves me feeling absolutely radiant and rejuvenated. From the moment I first walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for an unforgettable visit. One aspect that truly sets Ashley at BB apart is her commitment to skin health and safety, as well as her open and honest approach to individual needs. She provides thorough instructions on proper skin preparation and post-tanning care, ensuring that my skin stayed hydrated and nourished throughout the process. After reading the Yelp reviews I chose Bronzed Babe for my first spray tan, and am so happy I did. Ashley made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions before we got started. I am super pale and my desire was to look like I have some color, but not look like I had a deep golden tan. The results are so incredibly natural and exactly what I was hoping for if not better. I will definitely be back! read more

Wowwwww. Best airbrush tan I've ever gotten...and I've had tons. She was so attentive to details like getting lotion in the right spots, dusting to prevent sweat spots, and most of all, making me feel comfortable and welcome. The studio is beautiful, and her treatment areas are so professional. Really impressed, and sad at the same time that I move out of town right as I find her. If you're still searching for a place to bronze that body, your search ends here!!!! Next day update: tan is awesome, white pillows are not stained, and my usual problem spots (lack of spray + darker joint areas) don't exist! Super happy!!!! read more

Such a great experience having my spray tan done by Ashley! Before my tan with Ashley I had only gotten sprays tans from an automated booth which always turned out ok but for some reason my hands always came out VERY dark and my legs were never dark enough. I decided to try something new and my first tan with Ashley was right before my wedding so I was very hesitant to try it. Ashley answered every question I had and she took her time when spraying me. Not only was the tan the best and most even colored one I've ever gotten but it lasted all through my 2 week honeymoon. I never want to go anywhere else! Not to mention I love the fact she comes to my home to do it! Very convenient!!! read more

My maid of honor and I made appointments to get express airbrush tans for the Thursday before my wedding and truly can't say enough good things about Ashley and her business! Our tans looked incredible and almost 2 weeks later, it's fading perfectly but I still have a great tan. I used to work in a tanning salon all through high school and college so I'm fairly used to tanning and this is hands down the best color spray tan I've ever received. 10/10 recommend to any brides, bridal parties, or anyone that wants a perfect tan! read more

I made my appointment online and chose the mobile option, both very convenient. The booking system is quick and easy. Shortly after I received the confirmation email. She arrived at my house on time and prepared. Ashley is very professional in both appearance and demeanor. She asked what color I wanted and I left that up to her. I am very fair and wanted a natural look. She is an expert in color because she was spot on with the color choice, totally sunkissed..not orange or unnatural looking at all. She had me feeling completely at ease and relaxed as well. It was super quick and actually fun, which was a bonus! I am now a regular customer. It was nice being at home getting this done. Her prices are great. I have two tips. Tip 1: Buy the aftercare lotion, tan extender. The light scent smells amazing and it really helped my skin stay soft and my tan lasted longer. Tip 2: Take care of and support your beauty professionals and women entrepreneurs by tipping well. The price she charges for mobile is so reasonable, I found plenty of room for a healthy tip. read more
