Last year Sun Valley increased my price by 40%. That's fine it's their business and they have the right to price their products accordingly! This year they came back to me advising I had a $75 credit on my account. I ALWAYS paid cash in the full amount for every service so that credit is impossible! I asked for the $75 credit back in the form of a check since it's my money, but the issue is they were lying about the credit in an attempt to somehow regain my business. Instead they lied about the credit and shows you their dishonest approach in their business philosophy! Terrible business practice. I was extremely generous to their employees buying them drinks and snacks and just being a good customer to the employees. An hour after I posted this review and a Google review, Cole (owner) called me yelling at me for posting the reviews! He tries to tell me about "market conditions " but miserably failed to articulate knowledge about "markets and pricing ". He thinks HE sets the market prices when in fact all providers of a product or service do. He specifically stated that " he can't help it if the blacks and Mexicans quote such low prices"!!! First of all everyone quotes what they feel is the appropriate price. Secondly my grandmother was a full blooded Mexican and lastly how incredibly racist was that to single out blacks and Mexicans for his high prices! It's offensive to me being of part Mexican heritage and it's offensive to his all the hard working individuals in any industry. I had a disappointing experience last Friday. Had my screens & windows washed inside & out. Let Cole know 2 screens had the netting out of the track. Job finished Cole said screens were good, probably need new ones next year. My screens were not broken. They had to come back to put screens in correctly and they had no idea what happened but 2 of my screens ended up with cracked frames & a text saying they were broken. No mention of replacing them till after I had taken them to be replaced. Terrible customer service & several lost customers. read more

I highly recommend Sun Valley Window Washers! Cole and his team are so easy to communicate with, take pride in their work, and are extremely meticulous. My windows have never looked better!! They cleaned the inside and outside and truly took their time. I really appreciated that they saw I had a mask on, asked if I'd be more comfortable if they masked up while inside, and put them on without hesitation, along with shoe covers. I seriously cannot stop staring at my windows! I also appreciated the handwritten thank you card I received in the mail a few days later. He did not follow the Thumbtack contract and tried to charge me more, hence where this all started. He lied about conversations on the phone (we never talked on the phone). Careful! I entered all required and asked information from Thumbtack 3. The pro was chosen and the time was established 4. The pro showed up and completed the job 5. There were a few issues with what was done, nothing that couldn't be fixed 6. I was asked by the pro (via text) how the team member did on my house, I responded with pictures and what was missed 7. The pro said I was on the roof with his worker and told him it was fine (I wasn't on the roof with him and I did tell the worker it was fine cause I was communicating to the owner via text the issues) 8. The owner and tech presented me with an additional invoice of $140 (it was a fully paid for project via Thumbtack) 9. I told the upset owner I wasn't paying more, he told me I went over the allocation of time (not anywhere on my contract) I told him to stop texting and calling and only communicate through thumbtack 10. He called from his number, I blocked it, he called from another number, I blocked it, he called from a blocked number, I ignored it. 11. He contacted me via thumbtack and called me, "you're idiot" To be clear, yes I have high expectations, yes I was honest and forward. There was no "time limit" set, I've included the Thumbtack paid for services (also shared with pro) and the pro calling me and idiot. It's being reported to Thumbtack and I'll update this as needed. The pro was also communicated to contact Thumbtack. UPDATE: A claim has been filed against this company on Thumbtack.
