Unlike the Greenwood Park mall that has two stores with an open area between them, the College Mall has a much smaller space for their products arranged with a display of candles at the entrance, the bath & body products next, and the candles towards the back. They still offer the same products as the other store, but just have a lot less room for products on the shelves. The products are good and get used frequently at our home. Just wish they had a bit more space here. Review #1922

She did a good job with my cut but didn't wash or condition my hair before. Instead after, she asked me to wash my own hair at my house since she had two other people waiting. She offers to to take $5 off, but I wanted my hair washed. She proceeded to wash my hair, then style it. I asked for a blowout style. She left my hair damp and not nearly styled. Just blow dried and brushed. She then moved on to the next appointment. I ended up blowing out my own hair in the salon before I left, not wanting to leave with a frizzy mess...not a good overall experience.

My experience with James left a bad taste in my mouth. The haircut itself wasn't the issue, but…read morerather the quality of the service. It's clear that James is very passion about his work, but his conduct came across as unpleasant and unprofessional. For starters, he blatantly ignored my request to cut my hair with a straight razor. I understand that he is the professional in the situation, but if he wasn't going to consider my request, he shouldn't have asked in the first place. This was especially disappointing considering the result he delivered was significantly sloppier than previous haircuts I've received. However, my main concern was with his conduct. To put it bluntly, he was all over the place. Making obnoxious jokes, randomly singing rock and roll songs in my ear, dropping his supplies, and overall having an unfocused attitude. I understand that people have different energy levels and personalities, but even after explaining to him that I already had a rough day and wasn't in the mood to reciprocate his frankly exhausting energy, he continued acting brash and immature up until the end of the appointment, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I've seen multiple complaints about this individual online, but I still went into his chair with an open mind. However, after this visit I can say with confidence that I should have headed their warnings. Even though the haircut wasn't terrible, his abrasive, uncomfortable service was more than enough to make me never want to sit in that chair again. Customer service matters.
