If you've ever been to Bottleworks on the weekends, you know that parking can be a bit of a challenge so plan ahead (we were almost late). When we walked in we were greeted right away and we jumped right in. You start with going through a wall of different scents. And when I say wall, I mean a literal wall of scents. There must've been 100 to go through. Once you list your favorites and find your top 3, you pick your vessel and head back to your area. We were surprised to see they had beers, wines, and seltzers available. Our "helper", Gracie, was really fun to work with. She took a look at our scent lists and made some suggestions on scent pairings. She was very friendly and attentive. After a few drinks in us, we started mixing and pouring until we handed our candles in to start the two hour setting process. They were about to close so we decided to pick our candles up the next day. Overall, such an amazing and unique experience and we'll definitely head back with more friends!

She makes all of the things in her shop, except for a few items, like pottery and knitted wear, which are made by locals. I bought the Pearl Body Glow, Exfoliating Facial Wash, and a body wash with glittery stuff in it. I loved all of them, but I especially love the Pearl Body Glow. It's a hand cream that makes your skin literally glow! It's kind of amazing, and it also smells wonderful. I like to use it in the evening, as a nice way to treat myself. Lumi has all kinds of face and body products, as well as candles, clothing, sage sticks and lots of other items to cleanse all of the things. This is not a woo-woo place, but they do have sage sticks, in case you need to purify a room of something. All of the products at Lumi are made by hand by one person, with thought and care behind them. I love using products on my body that have been lovingly and intentionally made. You can really tell the difference.

One of our favorites in the store was the line of greeting cards. They made us chuckle and pick out more to read. They also carry magnets and post it notes with the funny sayings. Simply unique and a wide selection to choose from. The store tends to carry products/gifts targeted more to the female gender, so I didn't find anything for my guy friends, but I could see it being a place that ladies might enjoy exploring.
