Should you think a clearance rack might be useful, I looked today, in November 2023, and 100% of the items were in the wrong place or clearly mislabeled, which is maybe why they're on clearance. You can find deals, but hunting for them is worse than a bad Goodwill store. Check the merchandise carefully for defects. Check the size labels on the apparel itself to insure you're getting the right gear/item you thought you were buying. Even Ross does better than this. If you have idle time, give it a shot, but you may get really frustrated at the inattention to detail. Otherwise, avoid this location. read more

Very crowded it was nice and clean on the inside they did have a lot of items for women but I couldn't really find anything for myself I had a very limited men's selection. I've gotta tell ya. I dig the occasional visit to this place. It's kind of ... I don't know. It's like a weird discount store that's an anti discount store. When I go into chains known for low prices, I kind of get what I expect. Messy aisles, no help, and so on. At TJ Maxx, I'm just constantly delighted with the rotating variety they offer, an the store always looks good. They'll get snacks I've never seen, cool dog toys, nice kitchen gadgets, decent clothes, and scents to make you smell good. Personally, the soap is one of the things that keeps me coming back. They have gigantic bars of soap priced very nicely. The scents are super, and they generally have better ingredients than the commercial soaps you find in the grocery store. Bath stuff? Check. Shoes? I love TJ Maxx and this location is just awesome! It definitely is frequented by a lot of locals and students - so expect to spend a bit of time waiting in line with all your amazing finds. My favorite part of TJ are the pet and kitchenware sections. You can get high quality dog toys - great brands like Outward Hound and Kong - at extremely discounted prices. They also have a great selection of dog/cat accessories (I've gotten all of my dog collars/leashes, beds and even car seat covers here). Once I lucked out and found a Sherpa soft carrier for only $22 - so great! The staff is awesome and very friendly, I've never had any issues asking for help or direction. This TJ Maxx location is also happy to welcome well behaved dogs in the store! I bring my pup and the staff absolutely showers him with affection. Thanks TJ! read more

I've always shopped at TJ Maxx. I recently applied for the store card to save $35. I thought it was weird not to have it taken of immediately. Then I noticed my credit score of 760 dropped 22 points! I could figure out why ..I just received a letter today, Turns out I was denied. Reason: incomplete application! You might think it's harmless signing up for store cards, but does it really make sense to let a girl behind the counter fill out your application !
