Woah, how did I miss this gem in Bloomington?…read more Professional service with cheap prices... what more could I want? The staff are super friendly and when I called they warned me about how my walk in may not work out later in the day because of how busy it could get. I made an appointment, arrived on time and my technician was ready and waiting for me to start my service. Everyone was friendly and the technician made sure to explain about aftercare. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. And their prices definitely are awesome. Possibly the cheapest in town, or at least I haven't seen anything cheaper! It looks like they sell unlimited waxing cards for Brazilians or underarms in a three month period. Potential to save even more money!

I had a wonderful experience with Shaena! I wish I'd known about her eyebrow artistry years ago. I…read moream delighted by my new eyebrow shape. My eyebrows have always been a struggle, as I overplucked them for decades and am incapable of making measurements, etc. I tried so many things by myself over the years, none of them successful. I loved the vibe of Litwin Cosmetic Solutions--the waiting room and procedure rooms are unique and classy in a very comfortable, engaging way. The reviews by Allie, Amanda, Julia, and Sunisha are completely accurate to my experience. I had many of their exact phrases go through my head--Shaena is dedicated, skilled, talented, and caring. I found the whole experience very relaxing and satisfying. Even though the healing process does lead to some interesting phases along the way, there is a card that clearly lays out what to expect, and that is reassuring.

Shaena did a wonderful job and really took her time making sure the shape of my new and improved brows were perfect. I spent a lot of time researching this procedure and businesses that offer permanent cosmetics before choosing Litwin. My procedure was shorter than I expected and only took about 3 hours total, including the pre-shaping that Shaena does before she begins the actual microblading process. Shaena does a great job of explaining all of your options and helping you choose the best solution for you. She was extremely responsive and quick to answer all of my questions before my appointment. Microblading is a bit more uncomfortable than I had anticipated, but everyone has different levels of tolerance and Shaena makes the procedure as comfortable as possible with numbing gel. It is similar to getting a tattoo, but more of a slower, dragging feeling. They also offer a nanobrow procedure using a tool that is similar to a traditional tattoo gun that speeds up the procedure, so if you aren't comfortable with microblading, you may want to opt for nano instead. As with a tattoo, the discomfort is only temporary and IMO it's worth the long term results. Microblading has significantly shortened my morning routine, which no longer consists of filling in my brows and concealing a scar on my right brow. Now I can actually say "I woke up like this" because my face already feels put together the moment I get out of bed. No more reaching for my brow gel! The healing process has been easy and I've experienced minimal sensitivity and no bruising. It may sound dramatic, but I really feel like the benefits of cosmetic tattooing are life changing. If you've been thinking about having this procedure done, just go for it. You will not regret it!

This was a pretty big change but the staff here made sure that I was comfortable and excited for it each step of the way from my consult to the days after my appointment! My consult was the most comfortable one I've ever experienced; all of my questions were answered completely honestly (telling me how the color might affect my skin tone, how important the upkeep would be, how much that upkeep might cost-things other salons don't always want to tell you) and made me feel no pressured or discomfort in any way. The super sweet guy who spoke to me through my appointment explained that the salon doesn't run on commission and assured me that I would be very well taken care of in the hands of a newer employee named Shayna, and that this option would be more in my price range as opposed to seeing him, a master stylist. However, all of the newer stylists are supported by more senior stylists to make sure everything goes smoothly. A few days later I went back in to ask if I would be able to take a picture of the color swatch I was planning to go with as I was getting nervous about my upcoming appointment. The owner of the salon who happened to be up front sat with me and talked me through everything and gave me even more suggestions to make me more comfortable. It was so so sweet and all of the help leading up to the appointment made me nothing but excited to make the change! During my appointment with Shayna I was the most comfortable I have ever been during a hair appointment. She talked me thorough everything again, listened very carefully to everything I wanted and all of my questions and, most importantly, she freaking nailed it. I am obsessed with my new hair. The color is perfect despite it being a more challenging color, the cut is THE BEST CUT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. PERIOD. As if all of this wasn't enough, I woke up a few days later to a voicemail from Shayna checking in, asking how I was feeling and if I had any questions about everything we changed. I was so impressed and grateful. The service at this salon is unmatched. Final note that's very important: the salon and employees had by far the best Covid-19 procedures I've seen in any business yet. When you enter employees touch the door handles and everything else so multiple people aren't touching, a mask is required during every point in your appointment. There is hand sanitizer at the door, you have to use it, they take your temperature, the whole thing. I can't say enough good things (as you probably noticed from the length of this) but please just do your hair a favor and go see the Royale team!
