I now know that I'm safely covered in case of any outages, which is comforting in dealing with our extreme heat - AC stays on, fridge is working and it comes on so quickly that I didn't even know that the power was out until a neighbor called me! Their service and communication are both excellent. Every employee is very experienced and knowledgeable and I recommend them highly.

The work itself was exceptionally clean and professional -- including the painting and patching of areas that needed to be modified, which isn't always a given with contractors. I did not choose this HVAC company, and I would never recommend them to anyone. It took an astounding almost 3 weeks for my HVAC to be repaired, and all Fidelity could tell me was that Dove Air Conditioning, a small husband-and-wife business located in Cathedral City, was the only option available in the entire Coachella Valley. This is absolutely pathetic. FYI - HVAC still not blowing cold Air !!! From the start, Linda, who answers the phone, was incredibly rude. Her husband Gary, the technician, seems past his prime and should consider retirement. After nearly three weeks of waiting, my AC still isn't working, forcing me to hire a different company to fix what Dove Air Conditioning couldn't. In nearly 40 years of owning homes, I have never encountered such incompetence and poor customer service. Dove Air Conditioning issued me an invoice for $545, yet my AC is still non-functional. Now they claim there's another problem! Unbelievable. I would never recommend Fidelity National Home Warranty or Dove Air Conditioning Inc. to anyone. Stay far away from both companies. My Realtor with Compass Realty led me to Fidelity National Home Warranty Company. They used the very best solar panels, ones that significantly outperformed my old panels, upgraded the entire system and it has worked flawlessly ever since. They were easy to work with, showed up on time, when they said they would, and provided excellent service throughout the process. My electric bills are much lower than they were with my old system and my savings will pay for the entire system in 3 years. I highly, highly recommend this family owned business - they are awesome!

I had the pleasure of having Alex visit my home this morning. I called on Tuesday--it was a…read morenon-emergency--and they were able to get me an appointment for Thursday. They said between 9-11 with a 15-minute warning call. Like clockwork, my phone rang at 9 and Alex said he'd be there shortly. And he was. The problem was an easy fix--a slow leak in a valve on the AC unit that ran the fluid low. He fixed the valve, refilled the fluid and immediately the air started to blow colder--and all included in the (relatively low) cost of a service call. I casually mentioned that since I had lived there a short time I didn't know where the air filter was and it probably needed changing. Alex looked around, took off a couple of covers on the inside unit and found the air filter tucked away! He did it all with a great attitude and friendly manner. The whole visit--including the extra bonus with the air filter took under 20 minutes and I was totally satisfied. THe only very minor thing--they could use a better phone at their office. Two times when speaking with them, it was a bad connection, lots of static and hard to hear. Other than that tiny nuisance, this place is triple A! And thank you, Alex!

Our AC was obviously broken and the whole unit needed to be replaced. We had 2 portable AC's but our breaker can't handle two on at once so we have to have one on at a time. Since we weren't home, we set up an access code for them and they let themselves in. Our dogs are in our room with the only AC that can be on at the time.Why would you ever come into someone's home and play/touch with things that you are not supposed to/necessary to complete the job? There was a portable AC in the living room that was off for a reason, the breaker will trip and in order to restore he would have to go into the room my dogs are in. I get that it is hot, but that is the reason you are at my house. We also blacked out the house with blankets and made sure the blinds were closed so we can save money on electricity. Tell me why the tech felt the need to PURPOSEFULLY open up our sliding room blinds completely open before he left my house when all the work was ALREADY completed? What was the point of that? Again, make it make sense, lack of common sense. Not to mention the entire time they were working in our laundry room (in the patio area) that they left the sliding door open? It was 84 degrees when I left my house this morning at 7am, they came at 8am & stayed until 2:14 & left the sliding door open the entire time. When I came home from lunch at 12 pm, my house was 90 degrees due to the lack of common sense. We also have a camera in our house, and there is nothing in our bedroom that you need to go in there for to repair the AC. Tell me why you kept going into our room throughout the service?
