If you're into hearing from the business owner "I'm the owner here, and if you don't like it, I don't care, leave and don't come here again. I didn't want to do your nails in the morning anyways because I am too tired " - then Sun Nails if the place. Came here in the morning (10AM) per my sisters suggestion as this is the place she goes for her nails. Before we started I clearly called out a few things to note as I am very particular about how my nails are handled: I have very thin and sensitive nails so please don't press too much when filing. I wanted to make sure my nails are not too thick and that I told her what shape I wanted and color. She said don't worry I got it. No, she didn't get it. Several time she kept running the file through same spots and hitting around my cuticles which caused me to reflect my hand and pull away. She then told me "it's hard to work with you, you're being very difficult and you're making me nervous" - I told her it's a reflex because it hurts. Long story short, nothing that I requested for was done. She haven't even listened to a word I told her throughout the process. Nails came out thick, uneven. Glue and color all over my nails, under nails, burning and hurting fingers and the ugliest design ever. Another girl who did my sisters nails asked what I thought if it and I told her that I am not really happy with any of it. Then the drama started, the owner started raising her voice, telling that I was difficult from the beginning. On top, she said bunch of ugly things to me and then started hysterically crying. Then she asked me to stop taking about my nails with the other lady as yet again "she didn't care if I'm not happy" In summary, terrible experience. I understand things happen, but how you talk and handle that is what's important. She could've simply say, sorry it didn't come out the way you wanted or next time we can try something else, and I am totally ok with that. But raising your voice and making a scene, I am not ok with. This place will go down because of the owners like her who have 0 skills in customer services. What kind of business owners tells their customers "if you're not happy I don't care, leave and don't come back". If you don't care you shouldn't open a shop, just close it and go home. read more

After six weeks of having the same dip powder nails and many failed attempts at removing them, I was desperate. One day while the hubs and I were out running errands, I saw the bright neon "open" sign from afar. I gasped so loud my husband nearly wrecked the car. I can't express how happy I was to see that neon sign lit up! My husband read the cues and pointed the car towards Sun Nails. They couldn't take me in that day. They are only accepting appointments at this time to limit the number of customers inside at a time. I made an appointment for a few days later and dreamed about how nice my nails would look with a fresh mani for the next three days. I showed up a few minutes early for my appointment. There were three other customers who were already being taken of. Safety precautions were in place. I was asked to sanitize my hands right away. The techs wore masks and sat customers apart from each other. David worked on my hands and moved back and forth between me and another lady. I later found out that they had x amount of nail techs scheduled for that day, however, only two of them showed up. This caused a delay, but I was fine with waiting. I had already waited 6 weeks, what's another 30 minutes or so? I was just happy to be seen. I spent three glorious hours in this salon. Maya worked on my toes and she was fantastic! She was very thorough and applied just enough pressure. When it comes to pedicures, I don't want gentle. David did a fabulous job as well. I left feeling like a brand new woman! TLDR: Fading and chipping after 1 week. Paid $50 for SNS+gel for results to last less than one week. Also, I showed my reference example to David but he still made his own design. Welp. Full Review: David is a nice guy who is experienced and welcoming. However there was a $15 price increase at the register, the design I requested and showed multiple times was not executed, and the result quality was very poor. I called in advance and asked for SNS pricing. David answered the phone and said $35. When I arrived in the next half hour, David recognized my voice and sat me down. He suggested doing gel with my SNS so I asked him if it was the same price - he pauses and said "yes". At the register, he said $50. I don't get my nails done often and did not want to argue about pricing for work he has already done. I tipped him $10 and left. Won't return again - not because of the probable price miscommunication but the results. (See photos) In less than 1 week, my nails are faded and chipped, oh lawd. I think the nails were great, alot of people don't think I can speak Vietnamese, since I look white, I expect people to talk about me, but not to say rude things in Vietnamese. Everybody there was nice, except for the tall lady. I am not usually one to complain, but I was quite hurt by what they said in Vietnamese. The tall lady said that I am poor & cheap when I said I only have $50 to spend on SNS. And then when I understood and said she looked pretty in English (at that point she still didn't know I spoke Vietnamese) she said that I am trying to compliment her because I can't afford anything. It was quite hurtful because I try to be nice to everybody. Although, the nails did come out looking good. Once I told them I spoke Vietnamese, she switched up really quickly and said that next time I can get for free, but even so I don't think its nice to talk about people. I went to this nail salon and had the best experience I have had at a salon in a long time. All of the people are so friendly, and the spa is nice! I not only had quick service, but both mani and pedi were so high quality. Both my hands and feet were done in about an hour, and they were both done with such care. I went by today for a mani/pedi as it was recommended by some co-workers. I had tried another salon very close by and was very disappointed with the service. I had such a great experience here today. Everyone was so nice and my nails are awesome! I believe it was the owner that did my SNS nails and he was so nice! They have a huge selection of colors to choose from as well. I don't do my nails often because I've never really enjoyed the service and don't see the point paying for that when I'm unhappy with the overall experience. But I will definitely be going back here again, this will likely be my go to salon! read more

This women is embarrassed , I wrote a bad review of Laura today on google but she deleted because she doesn't want anybody to see it . She is so unprofessional ,about how she lied to me three time and kept Me waiting for someone to do my nails . Honestly I'm just telling the truth of how she doesn't know how to do nails and how rude she was to one of her worker cause I told her worker that she always be lying about the waiting time and how I'm not coming back here . So the worker told Laura and then Laura has a very nasty attitude towards her like it was her making up the things I was said and the worker quit . I decided to visit this nail shop while my son was at soccer practice and I have to say I made the right decision.
