    Kids burger

the food was really good! I absolutely loved the Black & Blue burger, and the fries were excellent too. They tasted a lot like Rally's/Checkers fries. We also tried the Sin Nombre Nachos they were good and decent, but not something I'd obsess over. The kids had milkshakes (two chocolate and one strawberry), and they were actually pretty good! Two of them ordered butter noodles with fries they probably won't get that again. Nothing wrong with it, but it felt a little plain. Most places at least sprinkle a bit of salt and Italian seasoning on top. The other kid and my wife both got regular burgers. Overall, it was a solid experience. We went on a beautiful Sunday evening around 5pm and the place wasn't crowded at all. Everything felt clean, and the service was smooth. We even met Ollie, the owner of Stacked House. He was super polite and took time to show us how everything works. From what I understand, Sun King and Stacked House operate together. On the ground level, you can order at the kiosk or from the staff member at the second kiosk right next to it. When your food is ready, they text your number and call out your name. It ran very smoothly today because it was slow I'm curious how it holds up on a busy day. They also explained that the upstairs level offers a more "elevated experience" with table service and waiters bringing food to your table. That sounds interesting! I definitely plan to come back on a busier day to test the consistency on food quality, staff engagement, and overall vibe when it's busier.

Double smash burger with cheese and fries.

It's a rainy, gloomy Monday evening, so I decided to try the new "Stacked House" smash burger place inside Sun King. I walked in and someone greeted me at the merchandise room. He explained the "process" for eating here- where the 21+ section was, where the family friendly area was, how to order food.... Good start. I walked to the far end of the downstairs "family friendly" area and found a single iPad-style kiosk to order from. One. For everybody to use. Just one. The digital menu above the kiosk scrolls so fast that it's hard to see what they have. Considering their limited food choices, the digital menu seems like overkill. A basic paper menu or a poster would be a lot easier. It took the people ahead of me about 10 minutes to put their 4-person order into the kiosk. You could tell they were looking for options and having a hard time finding what they wanted. When it was my turn to order, I felt the same way they did. You can look straight into the kitchen from the ordering kiosk, but not a single person greeted me or offered any help to anyone when ordering. (Naturally, the kiosk still suggests adding a tip when you are finished doing everything yourself.) I ordered a soda with my burger, but you don't get your cup when you order... You have to wait for your food. There didn't seem to be any option for iced tea or anything like that- just a basic Coke fountain with the usual 8 selections. (They would be wise to at least get one of those Coke Freestyle machines- with Grand Park so close, there will be plenty of under-21 customers.) When your food is ready you get a text and they call your name, so you walk up to get your own food. (Still no "service" so far.) I had to ask which order was mine in the window, and they didn't have a drink with the meal. I had to ask for a cup. I picked up my food and cup and went to the drink station, which only has room for one tray. If you're getting a drink and condiments, the whole line is waiting on you. They had the smallest bottle of mustard you can buy sitting in the counter, and it was empty. (You can't order mustard on your burger at the ordering kiosk.) There is only one size of soda, which is comparable to a medium at most restaurants. After asking the cooks for a bottle of mustard I was finally able to head back to my table... which someone had taken. Found a new table (the place was empty- not hard to do) and dove into the meal. The double smash burger with cheese was just ok. Hard to believe it just came off the grill, because it wasn't very hot. I'd say it was slightly larger than average, but it's a smash burger, so thickness wasn't a factor. Overall I t was ok, but the more I ate the saltier it tasted. I was parched by the time I was done with the burger. I could have done with WAY less salt, but otherwise, it was ok. Nothing to brag about, but definitely not "bad". The fries tasted like something I would make at home in my air fryer. They are kind of flat like steak fries, but the coating is kind of like fries from Rally's. Not greasy, not salty. They were ok. Nobody from the business spoke to me during the ordering process, while eating my meal, or as I sat here typing this. There are only 4 tables of people (including me) in the dining area out of about 24 available tables. You would think that someone might at least be welcoming customers to a business that's barely a week old, but... you would be wrong. As I left, the guy who had greeted me at the door (the ONLY employee who spoke to me) asked how my burger was. I told him the food was ok, but mentioned that the employees weren't doing anything to "sell" the place. I would totally understand if the place was packed, but that wasn't the case. When the employees don't seem happy to be there, customers don't really want to come back. Best part of the experience was the music. Pink Floyd was playing when I came in, followed by Joe Walsh and some classic Van Halen, Supertramp, and Cheap Trick. Great classic rock playlist. Aside from the music, I really didn't find a reason to come back. $20 for an average burger and fries wasn't worth it.

How exciting that Westfield now has its very own Sun King! I arrived for the Grand Opening today and was happy to see the have an outdoor fire pit and plenty of patio seating just in time for patio weather. There's an upstairs patio as well. The downstairs lower left side is dog friendly. Yay! I'm a fan of sour beer an THC drinks. I ordered the Cherry Busey Sour. Yum! Thank you for the goodie bag and warm welcome! I'll be back for dinner and happy hour specials soon !

I arrived on opening day and was one of the first 30 people through the door. Because I was there early I received some free merchandise which was cool. This new location has an awesome upstairs patio which I definitely plan to utilize over the summer!

Thin crusts with the right amount of sauce, cheese and good quality toppings. Fair warning, specialty pizzas are only available during weekends. Simple topping pizzas on Mondays and Tuesdays. Lots of variety and even frozen alcohol slushies. Service was great at the counter and very helpful in selecting food and drink items.

Confession: I'm not the biggest fan of Indiana wine. (This isn't actually a confession or a secret…read more I will gladly tell anyone who will listen that I don't like Indiana wine.) It's usually way too sweet for my palate, even the dry wine. But the wine I tasted at Urban Vines was really good! Could it be that I can no longer say that I don't like Indiana wine? If you like dry wine like I do, I suggest sticking to the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Those were the red wines that I chose for my wine flight, plus the Pinot Gris from the white wine section. These were all delicious and dry enough for me. (If we're really quibbling, they were still slightly sweeter than I like, but I realize Indiana wine can only go so dry.) Mostly, though, Urban Vines is ideal for people who like sweeter wines. The people who see "cotton candy" on the wine bottle and think, "Yes, this is what I want. I want my wine to taste like liquified sugar." That said, I did taste a sample of the Wine-A-Rita, which is a sweet wine infused with agave and lime, and served on ice. Whoo! That's a nice little sippin' drink. I could see killing a couple of glasses of that on a hot Indiana summer evening. I should also mention: The pours that they give you for the wine flights are generous! More than generous, actually. I am no wine lightweight, and I could feel the sweet and bitter fruits flowing nicely throughout my bloodstream by the time I took my last sip. Luckily, Urban Vines has food to offset all of the wine. I came for a pizza flight, but they weren't offering them when I visited, so I got the margherita pizza instead, which came with torn pieces of basil, marinated and roasted tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. It was very tasty! They also offer things like boards (veggie boards, breadstick boards, cheese boards, meat boards), plus salads and desserts. They also offer brunch on the weekends. This is a pleasant little place to hang out and enjoy wine and food. It's also family-friendly -- they have a small playground that's near the patio seating, so you can relax and also watch your kids play. Urban Vines is a nice place to unwind with some wine and food, and just enjoy the day.

The center includes a brewery, cocktail lounge, restaurant, event center and tasting bar with gift area. The locally-owned distillery has an upscale industrial vibe. We started at the tasting bar.....duh! The bartender described the three whiskeys that we tasted. Each was delicious. I felt like I was on a great vacation. Then we headed to the restaurant for lunch. We sat at the bar, of course. Allison, the bartender and our server, did an outstanding job. She was friendly, attentive, made suggestions and prepared a fabulous Whiskey Sour. My drink was made either Luxardo cherries. This as the best Whiskey Sour that I've ever had. The lunch menu is slightly different than the dinner menu. I would describe the menu as very upscale bar food. There is a drink menu that was featuring daily specials for the holidays. My husband had their hand breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin was double stacked with perfectly breaded and seasoned tenderloin. He said it the best tenderloin he has had in Hamilton County and among the best in the state. The fries were crispy and good. I had the in-house prepared Broccoli Cheddar soup. There was no doubt that the soup was fresh made. The soup was creamy with gooey cheese. The broccoli was sour fresh. The bowl was huge. I also ordered a small wedge salad, which turned out to be huge. The salad was covered generously with bacon, blue cheese and grape tomatoes. We explored the event center, which was spacious. The outdoor patio was inviting, even on a freezing day. There is plenty of parking in their dedicated lot. Accessible spaces are available near the entrance. West Fork puts Westfield on the map. It's the perfect venue to bring family or friends for a special meal and experience. I highly recommend.

We didn't have a craft beer because it was early in the day, even for me. We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which is large and shareable. The dip is delicious with lots of artichoke. The dip comes with really fresh blue tortilla chips and toasted pita bread. The portion was so generous that we took half home. For entree, I had the Blackened Salmon BLT sandwich with blue cheese slaw. The salmon was a large portion of fresh, perfectly cooked fish. There was thick sliced bacon on top with lettuce and tomato. A spicy aioli sauce was on the salmon. The sandwich was fabulous and I would highly recommend. If you like blue cheese, you will like the blue cheese slaw. The slaw is fresh and tangy. My husband had Bad Elmer's Fav burger with fries. His immense 1/2 pound burger was perfectly cooked medium rare (as ordered). He raved how good the meat tasted. The burger was topped with two slices of thick cut bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. His fries were excellent, large and crispy (I ate half of his fries). We took the Chocolate Brownie dessert home. They had packaged the caramel and whip cream separately, so it was easy to assemble. The brownie is really rich and chocolaty. We loved the dessert. Sarah was kind and proactively brought boxes out for us to package leftovers. She thanked us for coming. The service is amazing. The bartender showed me the Happy Hour menu. From 3:00 - 5:00, beers and sliders are $4 to name a few of the great deals. In addition, a featured daily beer is special priced. Growlers are discounted on Wednesdays and Sundays. Television monitors are playing various sporting events. Parking is available towards the rear of the restaurant. We did not find close parking early on a Thursday morning. I highly recommend. I'll be back for Happy Hour. This is an easy 5 stars.
