The store is packed with decorative tins you can select to contain your popcorn if you are giving it as a gift. Also there was a bunch of unusual candies on offer, as well as fudge. But I was here for the popcorn. The selection is huge! Sweet, savory, spicy, tangy, it's all represented here. Service was super relaxed and friendly. They were patient with me while I perused the extensive menu. If you aren't getting a tin for the popcorn, they sell it in bags. There are a bunch of different size bags, and I liked that there are smaller (but still generous) sized bags that enable you to try a variety of different flavors. I went with white cheddar, Chicago mix (caramel and cheese), spicy pickle, Jalapeno ranch, peanut butter chocolate, and Oreo. All were so delicious! Every kernel was packed with flavor. The popcorn itself was fresh and with zero unpopped kernels. The seasonings were all just right, not too much or too little, and evenly adhered to the popcorn. So addictive! The service was super nice, and the prices not too bad. I think they deliver too. I grabbed a menu because I will definitely be back! Such a great place to have here in Salem. I live in LA and so I looked for a good Popcorn store and a couple of them showed up. But the look of this store caught my eye, with some wonderful posts showing the family feel of the place. So I called and got to great employees to help me purchase, and on the day Linda happened to be there the day we suprised my dad to show up there and treated him so well. Flavors of popcorn are wide, ranging from common (butter) to adventurous. They don't skimp on the flavors, so if you get, for example, cheddar popcorn, there is a LOT of cheddar cheese powder bountifully applied. The flavors are intense and great! You can get small individual bags, or tins of all sizes. Their candy selection is mightily impressive, ranging from vintage classics to modern and quirky oddities (gummy stapler, anybody?). Their soda selection is also huge, and equally quirky. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and prompt. Why not five stars, then? The location is pretty terrible. It is in a tiny strip mall in the same shopping center as a Home Depot, and its parking lot is TINY. It is so small that there are literally one-way signs to prevent vehicles from blocking the path (the lanes are only wide enough for one vehicle to fit through). This same strip mall has a Starbucks, and there are generally LOTS of cars backed up at the drive-through, all the way to the entrance of the strip mall, and blocking the main street. If you go, I'd recommend doing so AFTER Starbucks is closed to save yourself a LOT of headache.

There are not a lot of places you can find fresh, delicious caramel apples, but Joe's is one of those places. My first order wasn't packaged so great, with the containers the apples are stored in opening in transit, but they were not damaged. I ordered a couple bags of their popcorn as well, but I ended up not opening it. It was super fresh and expired before I got the opportunity to enjoy it. Shipping has always been expeditious. I have always been charged properly. The owner would reply to comments on IG and is always very polite and professional. They also have promo codes during certain times, so look out for them.
